I have to really question your wisdom and values if this shyte is what rocks your boat. It makes me shudder to think you watched this, then hurried down here to post it...why?! |
With 4llerbuntu, you may not have good things. With TEXAZZPETE...good things abound! What is a good thing, you say? See below for an example! https://3.cdn.tapcdn.com/images/thumbs/taps/2012/07/michelle-jenneke-dancing-gif-2d1aa7bd-original.gif |

It starts with random Yoruba phrases... Next he posts random Youtube Videos Next he arrogates himself the title of 'Ashewo Of Lagos' All part of the EVIIIIL plan of Mr 4llerbuntu to join forces with MTN and take over the entire Tri-State Area!! Stop him!! Vote TEXAZZPETE! https://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120228210205/phineasandferb/images/thumb/0/05/Evil_in_the_Tri-State_Area.jpg/800px-Evil_in_the_Tri-State_Area.jpg ^^ Artist rendition of 4llerbuntu. |
mapet: First off I think, regardless of how we spin it, I think it is both honorable and commendible that the senior officers left you off the hook on his discretion. It is also very good that you stood your ground and took the case to the senior officer.....Someone needs to box you soundly about the ears! The 'ignorance is not an excuse' line is oft abused by Nigerian Police. |
dominique: Was that epistle necessary? The whole thing could have been summed up to two or three tidy sentences. Was it necessary to show us all your level of ignorance? |
Hey numbnut!, Believe whatever you wanna believe. I'm done arguing with you. And I'm done with this tread!
TRANSLATION: "I have nothing intelligent to say after my borrowed wisdom from Wikipedia ran out and thus I must escape before I am embarrassed further" |
Sam xiu lee: @delors,In the late 80s there was nothing like commercial motorcycle riders, and the ppl in lagos survived.am always worried anytime ppl says lagos will become a geographical expression, the Europeans,Portuguese met ppl on the geographical expression when they came, pls those ppl they met,are they from your village?Such a waste of your parents money! Tell me, what was the population of Lagos in the late 80s you're so proud to babble about? How big was the spread of development in Lagos then compared to now? How many vehicles were on the streets in the late 80s compared to now? Zero logic, zero common sense applied. Pathetic |

Has the National Association of Nigerian Witches declared for the Ashawo of Lagos? |
A vote for my PDP sponsored rival is a vote for MTN exploitation. It is a vote for crazy data charges for Glo Internet. It is a vote for calamity ![]() Brethren, do you know that everytime you vote for this Ashawo of Lagos, an innocent kitten like the one below dies? Stop killing kittens. Vote for TEXAZZPETE of Nairaland!!! God bless Nairaland. 4llerbuntu: Well, it seems its becoming clear who the PDP candidate here isYes! The man who has sworn to win this good-natured election by rigging, electioneering and thuggery. You are the PDP candidate! Already reports are reaching my ears on distribution of recharge cards to influence the minds of voters. Above you can see how Mr. Aze has been misled into calling me an 'outsider' after receiving just one derica of Garri Brethren, we must stand strong against such shenanigans! Vote Texazzpete as the main man of this section! Nairaland spans Nigeria and beyond! We do not need an Ashawo of Lagos as a regional champion! |
aze: 4llerbuntu is Da Man. we don't need outsiders. You're calling me an 'outsider'? Seriously? |
Its good you know that they do not meet the initial specifications set out. Case closed! Now, lemme ask you a question: Wasnt IPv5 meant to provide significant boost from the the previous IPv4. Why isnt it rated in the same standard as IPv6? If it is not up to "standard", it will never be rated same standard with its superior. Kappish? As for whoever the "frag" you are refering to (wha'ever that means), I wount trade abusive words with you. Let us just keep learning.
The ITU-R says LTE and WiMAX are 4G technologies. It matters not if it's a modification of an initial position...it is now accepted as 4G. Are you deliberately being obtuse? |
Buhari/GEJ campaign sef no hot like this. 4ller/Tex don turn Politicians oooo. Who be ACN n who be PDP? Wait ooo. E be like say we go do e-debate even if we can't have live debate on this election.
Sadly, my rival cannot debate. Na one-track mind e get...if no be Android or 'open' OS device, you have wasted your money as far as he is concerned ![]() |
Maleeq: omo, this campaign na die o!A choice between 'Ashawo of Lagos' and 'Texazzpete of Nairaland'? There can be only one Choice. Vote for ME! ![]() |
You know, If this was 'Android man of the year' or something like that, I for one would have been happy to vote for this rabble-rouser 4llerbuntu, despite his grievous shortcomings. However, this is for the Nairaland Phone Section of the year award. And who better captures the diversity of this section than someone who has been there from the beginning and who has used 'em all? iOS users? I was one of the first in Nigeria to use the original iPhone, started the iPhone apps thread which has seen well over 100 pages...did my bit and handed over to the next generation of iPhone/ipad legends like Suntemi and tumababa...who are better than I ever was now. See, that's continuity! Android? I started off with the Google G1, then got a Mytouch 3g for my wife way back in 2009. Now I own not less than THREE Android phones and an Android tablet. Blackberry? I've gone through 3 Bold 9900 devices after my 9700. Flashed nearly every firmware available including hybrids and leaks. I speak the BB language ![]() Windows Phone? My old HD7 says hello! I've gone hands on with the Lumia 920, 900 and 800 and I have gone toe-to-toe with the chief spreader of FUD on nairaland (4llerbuntu) Symbian? We were using S60 devices from the original N-gage, 6600, 6630, N95 etc. Which one remain? Cast your vote wisely...between a Phone section legend (Una wey think say e start with iOS vs Android, where were you when we were trashing out iPhone vs N95 in 2008?)and the self-described 'iTroll'? Your choice between the legend who was using all the top OSes out there, who understands ALL and the man who up until 2010 was boasting about 'running .deb files on N900 using X-Term'. Choose the man who earned the respect of the entire Phone section by resolutely standing firm even in the days of FBT! Choose the man who supported the first ever Phone section award by providing a cash reward to the winner out of his own pocket...out of a deep love for this section! Choose the man whose arguments are provided with crisp, clear logic...rarely have I ever been bested in an argument here! Choose wisely! ![]() PS: 4llerbuntu is my friend and any dissing here must be taken lightly ![]() |
tmarcus: I need help on aw to install watsapp on my HTC hd7Go to the Windows Phone Marketplace na. There's a Whatsapp client for WP 7.5 |
what is the ignorance here? Bro, you need to do you research before you come to argue with me. I repeat, only WiMax and LTE has been deployed commercially in the Advanced countries. LTE system is a standard within the 3G technology. Its actually a mix of 3G and 4G technologies proposed by the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP). 3GPP have been around since 1998 and includes many standards bodies such as the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). They have been working on mobile communications standards for a long time and have covered previous systems such as GSM and HSDPA. The initial LTE standards have been implemented in some countries and the new systems are backwards compatible. Their contribution to our topic is LTE Advanced which has been designed to meet the 4G requirements. There have been many research publications on various aspects of LTE Advanced but the final system has yet to be decided. The error I think I made was stating that 4G has not been deployed. It's actually deployed but not in a commercial state where every person on the street would have access to. It's still under Test-running mode.
While LTE and WIMAX do not meet the initial specifications set out, they ARE considered 4G networks because they are the springboard from which the backwards compliant tech will emerge (WIMAX 2 and LTE-Advanced) and also because they provide a significant boost from the previous 3G speeds. ITU-R considers the description of LTE as '4G' to be acceptable. Who the frag are you to disagree? |
Ok, I had no idea this was going on ![]() Thanks for all the nice words everyone. For those making this about iOS vs Android, note that I have devices running BOTH OSes and thus will be a more complete and worthy winner than 4llerbuntu ![]() (Can't resist taking a swipe at my main rival ) |
Not excusing what this monster did, but if he were Arab, bloody terrorist chants every where, if he was black, he would be a thug from a savage race of people who have simply refused to advance. Hell, even Trayvon Martins, the apparent victim is still being called a thug till date but now we have a white person and it goes, oh, we will never understand why he did it, he was mentally disturbed and he was a humble young man. Instead of calling him what he is, a cold blooded murderer. White people are just terrible. May the little angels rest in peace. Amen.
You people are so stupid. People who belong to ORGANIZATIONS/GROUPS that have a stated goal to kill innocents for political gain/purposes are terrorists. It doesn't matter whether they are black or white. An individual suffering from Asperger's syndrome + personality disorders and belongs to no group or organization will NEVER be called a 'terrorist'...doesn't matter his skin color. |
PointB: Federal Government has no business ab initio building and managing refineries, they have one one the worst track records worldwide in this regards. The private sector and better equipped for such venture. If the subsidy regime continues to be a clog on the wheel of progress, Nigerians should support the effort to get rid of the waste. Subsidy of Petrol benefits mainly the rich, it must go!Yes, pin it all on fuel subsidy. Fuel Subsidy MUST STAY as long as this inept, inefficient and corrupt Government cannot provide affordable fuel for its citizens as befits their status as citizens of one of the top 10 oil producing nations. We consume fuel for both transportation and personal power generation...this is not helped by the usual massive traffic jams and poor power generation and distribution which is one of the legacies of this PDP led Government. |
LTE is not and will NEVER be 4G. Op, take note. No country has deployed 4G. Two platforms are currently being worked on, i.e. WiMax And LTE-Advanced, to provide the 4G to Standard. A proposed standard is such that will give you 100Mbps while on a high mobility mode; and to provide ~1Gbps in a stationary state. These 32 -37 kini kan kini kan is not even close!
May God deliver you from this ignorance, brother |
vanstanzy: ITS SO FUNNY AND REALLY VERY INTERESTING THAT THE YORUBA MAN IS ALWAYS VERY JEALOUS AND ENVIOUS OF HIS NEIGHBORS. MAKE IT IN LIFE, AND THEY ENVY YOU. DON'T MAKE IT IN LIFE, AND THEY STILL ENVY YOU.That's all well and good, but i am not Yoruba...and you're a m0r0n. ![]() |
I love this thread...reads like a 'who's who' of the m0r0ns on Nairaland...right from the imbeciilic dolt that started the thread to the brainless fellows sending in inane replies. I'm taking names. |
You Nigerians are such SLAVES! Slapping constitutes ASSAULT and can be replied in kind as part of self defence. If na Army Captain nko? See how you folks have turned these people into tin gods! Imagine a tax-paying citizen calling himself a 'bloody civilian'! Kai, Nigeria is overrun with cowards. When your mates were in Tahrir Square in Egypt for nearly a month, daring armed soldiers, you were busy drinking paraga. |
Anyone who believes this man is affiliated to Boko Haram needs their brain checked. The Konduga guy was NEVER a Boko Haram spokesman. All He and Ndume did was to use the name 'Boko Haram' to intimidate political opponents, in collusion with a criminal gang. The SSS and the FG know this...which is why Konduga grabbed only 3 years jail term. The only spokesman we've ever heard about is Abu Qaqa. Where does this Konduga fellow come from? GEJ is desperate to achieve some sort of 'success' by force so his voltrons can trumpet it from the heavens. |
Yeah right. That was how a 'source' told us that Eden Hazard was DEFINITELY coming to Manchester United...Only for the wastepipe to move to Chelsea. All these 'sources' are almost always full of crap |
Yield: Incredible.Wait, so at your age you don't know that dogs are intelligent creatures that can think? You haven't heard of stories of dogs running for miles to fetch help for their injured owners? You haven't seen dogs react to their owners moods? |
4llerbuntu: HUnh? what are u on abt?Don't be a dumbass. Did you whine and complain when Google's Vic Gondutra made that "Two turkeys" comment about Nokia and Windows Phone? Was it 'Classless' when the Samsung anti-iPhone ads aired? Rubbage!! |
