basadenet:It is a sin to slander people. There are hundreds of Policemen and women who are committed Christians and Muslims and who view bribe taking as a sin. There have been reports on Nairaland of policemen who have returned found money running into hundreds of thousands of Naira. Can you bet your life that there are no honest policemen? Can you walk outside now and ask God to prevent you from seeing your 40th birthday if there is even ONE honest policeman in Nigeria? You are an empty headed imbecilic dolt, an unrepentant one at that! I will not abide m0r0ns. Away with you! |
Wadosky:You are a disgrace to the mother who bore you! How can anyone wish he was born into those savage times? All you kids who grew up watching Rambo think that war is fun. If you remain this imbecilic, mayhaps you will get your wish and die in a gutter, riddled with 7.62mm bullets. |
coogar:Leave them, how can someone be asking the man to start groveling and begging for his inlaws for his own child? After now, they will start bullying him at the slightest opportunity. If only the OP can summon the balls to follow your plan to the letter. All these hungry MOPOL sef, you know how they hate hearing stories like this one. I'm sure even 30K will suffice. By the time they lock up this his in-law for 2 weeks and feed her once a day with only beans wey never don, dem go begin beg the man. |
Lexoria:Well, one assumes that if he gets the child, the woman will follow. He has indicated a desire to remain in marriage with the woman so I feel this is the best approach ![]() |
basadenet:Can somebody ask you to get a brain?! Not all policemen take bribes. Anyone who says otherwise is a dolt. |
cejo:No. Your suffering persists because you clowns keep voting in the accursed PDP and voting corrupt officials at the local Government levels. |
Where's Beaf sef? Oh, I forgot. now that his brother is in power it is now no longer politically correct to be jubilating and cavorting with glee over the deaths of Nigerian Naval personnel. |
coogar:May God bless you for this wise post. In fact, I would have thrown in a squad of OPC or NURTW workers as the second wave just after MOPOL depart. No need to start begging, just use 'Shock and awe' to overcome all opposition. Once you seize the baby the mother will come along. ![]() |
Beaf:WTF?! I could have sworn '2001' was written several times in the OP in English. Except you're insinuating that Sanusi has discovered time-travel and went back in time to write an 'image laundering' article. |
niddamugu:How old are you sir? Human beings have different personalities and different passions/priorities. |
rabzy01:You wouldn't know the truth if it bit you on your backside. |
niddamugu:What you need to get through your thick skull is that Ibori's Wife, sister and mistress are serving FIVE year sentences. Ibori's lawyer is serving a SEVEN year sentence. All for being accessories to his crimes. So why would any logical person expect to see Ibori here in Nigeria in less than 5 years? |
Another signature of the PDP you clowns voted into power; they fail to honor agreements! |
sholatech:1) Because the body of the lynched man was directly handed over to the Police/SSS 2) Because the corpse was clearly beaten to death. The trauma from being cudgeled and stomped to death is much different from that from a bomb blast. |
rabzy01:The COCIN bombing in jos was carried out by suicide bomber(s). No matter any speculation about any involvement of Christians in any of the Northern attacks in recent times, only adherents of one religion in Nigeria will ever consider suicide bombing. No prizes for guessing which religion that is. Now show yourself and your daft theories to the door. |
This is not good enough. Please post the full brand name of this camera if not nobody will take you serious. is it the EOS Rebel T3i? T2i? T3? T2? |
DivideUs:Again with the m0r0nic questions! Who told you he was wearing a millitary uniform? An early report that has now been discredited? Look, there is a corpse in the mortuary which has been identified as that of a Christian churchgoer with two kids and a full time worker in a new generation bank. This man was beaten to death by church members. The corpse in the mortuary does NOT have an army uniform on. The Army, SSS and Police are FULLY satisfied with the positive identification of the lynched corpse as belonging to an innocent man. Please I implore you dolts to refrain from these imbecilic comments and questions. Rather spend any excess energy you have in silent contemplation and prayer for the two children who have been rendered orphans by f00lish church members. |
andyanders:He was 70 years old. What else does someone really need? Why is T.A Orji (who i agree is a compound m0r0n for other reasons) supposed to use Taxpayers' money to fund him? What exactly does 'die like a chicken' mean? And why this insinuation of the man being 'abandoned' when he had children and kinsmen? You guys need to grow up. |
Thanks for this, I think people forget how much they were paid then, I don't think he even made N2000 per episode, so how do you save when you are underpaid? and not even paid sometimes, For the likes of Gringory that brought so much Joy into our lives it would not have been bad or a big deal if everyone of us his Fans, contributed N1000 to aid him when he came out begging and calling out for our assistance, So trying to judge him does not cut it at all (For those doing so) In America he would have been a Rich Icon! He never made money from the show he created (Masquerade)
And in your infinite wisdom you think N2000 in the 1980s was a pittance abi? There is no indication that he was underpaid. The payments back then may not have been the huge sums our entertainment industry staff collect now, but it was most likely pretty decent. At the very least, he had to have been earning more than a garden variety newscaster and certainly more than primary school teachers. By that indication, the streets Nigeria should have been filled with begging teachers. Finally, there are loads of movie stars or celebrities who have died broke. Is Mike Tyson a 'Rich Icon'? When Eric Djemba-Djemba declared his abject bankruptcy, did you see Manchester United players gathering money subsidize him? Did Gary Coleman die rich? Abeg if you people want to donate money, don't let anyone stop you. but please spare us the guilt trip. I am expected to save up for my later years. Everyone is expected to do the same. |
^^ Come On Kobo stop pushing this please. The reports clearly stated that the mob contemplated handing him over to the police or killing him. That makes me wonder why none of the mob (who happened to be the same church members) unable to recognize him? (assuming the guy was helpless and unconcious as the result of beating or from effect of the bomb). Besides, some of the reports said the guy 'jumped out' of the moving vehicle. Others said two men 'wearing army uniforms'. If he was mistakenly killed then we still have two bombers and only one body was discovered in the wreckage. Has the other guy escaped unnoticed?. Where is the church security man that was beating by the bombers at the gate before forcing themselves into the premises? He needs to be questioned. He may know more everyone here. We need more than just two lines convince us.
you don't have 'two lines'. You have live, physical identification from his wife and from his colleagues. I can assure you that I do not know more than 20% of the people in my church. I will struggle to recognise the 10% I know if they are battered, bruised, swollen and bloody. keep in mind that in a lynch mob, only the inner layer of people (which may not be more than 10 people) have a clear sight of the person being stomped and cudgeled. By the time any decision on whether to kill or spare him would have been mooted, the guy would have been just a bleeding, quivering pulp. Any reports of there being two bombers in millitary fatigues should NEVER be taken as hard, reliable evidence. Beaf, the ONLY HARD, RELIABLE and INDISPUTABLE evidence is that there is a body in the mortuary that was clearly beaten to death by a multitude, not killed in the explosion. That body has been conclusively identified as a Spring Bank employee who was married with two Children and was a member of the church. The fact that he was beaten to death means he was killed by the mob. His wife reports he was at the church with the family that fateful day. He has been confirmed to be a Christian. There was definitely a mob killing that day. Abeg there are no loopholes in that story. The mob killed the wrong man and must bear the blood guilt for this. |
El Guapo:Ohakim attempted to rig in Imo State too. the people would have none of it. truth be told, a concerted rigging effort would still be thwarted if the people are against the candidate. The simple truth is that Abians wanted TA and now they have him they should stew in the fruits of their cowardice. let them continue to glance enviously at Imo State's Rochas Okorocha. |
sholatech:There is a clear difference between a mob determined to ascertain your identity BEFORE killing or sparing you and a mob that already feels sure of your identity and only intend to inflict severe bodily harm on you. Were you not a m0r0n, you'd know the difference. If you're so sure about your thesis that a mob will always stop and question you gently, let me take you to a certain South East market and have three people point at you and shout 'Thief, Thief' as loud as they can. If you escape without a scratch i will come here and apologize to you. Deal? |
Odunnu:This is probably just your brain trying to make an excuse for your earlier expressed glee at this man's death. The man was killed by a MOB, not any rational collection of people ogling his picture on a big screen. An angry mob will see whatever they want to see, hear whatever they want to see. Where were you when an angry mob in Lagos set ablaze a 12 year old boy for alleged kidnapping? Channels TV reported this and they certainly never reported any attempt to give the boy time to defend himself. I have no idea what school you went to or how much effort or investment you've put into broadening your mind but I find it hilarious that a fully grown adult imagines a lynching to be a civilized affair where the unfortunate person being lynched is given all the time in the world to offer a defense. I doubt the poor deceased fellow had time to shout "I am innocent" before the first concrete brick was smashed over his head. Please be HUMAN enough to feel some level of shame for your earlier comments instead of seeking out escape routes. Kabai:What a m0r0n you are! A man was lynched by a mob of churchgoers and his corpse was handed over to the police. His WIFE (who has 2 kids by the way) identified him as a churchgoer. His COLLEAGUE (a christian in Spring Bank) identified him as a fellow staff, a Christian and a father of 2 kids. Yet an imbecilic dolt like yourself insists the story must be false because while the lynch mob were giving him tea and giving him all the time in the world to write a statement he 'failed to identify himself'. You say the story is fishy because 'his fellow church members could not identify him' as if he were taken in front of the church well dressed and with no cudgel related bruising on his face and held up for identification. Are you for real?! May perennial affliction strike your scrotal sack if you cannot identify more that 70% of the members of your church! A father and breadwinner is dead in a senseless and Stupid reaction and all you can do is to babble about lies. I remain hopeful that one day you experience a mob attack first hand so you can tell us how much lucidity you retain while someone's Timberland boots are firmly lodged in your front teeth. |
Bawss1:Yes. I sense great idiocy in this Onlytruth fellow. Onlytruth:I doubt that. if you do possess an IQ greater than what your posts depict on Nairaland, why hide it with all these childish posts? Keep all these empty boasts of 'leading riots since when you were wearing diapers'. Where are the pix you've taken while in the midst of any recent protests? Go and see all those bitter Biafra war vets and ask them how glorious war truly is. |
Going by those specs, that should be the 2011 Macbook Pro. The 2010 Core i7 Macbook pros max out at 500GB. I would be willing to pay a maximum of 260K for this, given that the 2012 model should be hitting in the next 4 months. |
Onlytruth:Thanks for confirming my initial assessment of your IQ level. Onlytruth:Nigeria's history also shows that your people suffered grievously during the war. For ALL Nigerians, the Biafran war should be seen as a time of great horror and suffering. All you brainless youths with more bravado than sense will wake up and start bragging about war as if people's desperate fight for survival is anything to glory in. Considering the fact that I have NEVER seen you post anything here to show you've led any public demonstration against injustice, oppression and poor government policies/governance, I doubt you'd make an appearance on the frontlines if war does break out. PS: As someone who hails from Edo State, I wonder if you're willing to discuss the inevitable civillian casualties recorded following the Biafran invasion of the Midwest. |
gulfer:Ah, my apologies. I had thought you were one of those saying that 'we should have supported him'. Sorry. ![]() |
Onlytruth:I'm not Yoruba so I wonder why you're sending this to me. You aren't very bright, are you? |
Onlytruth:I hope when that day comes, you cease being an internet warrior and you take your place at the front lines. Only foolish people glorify war and strife. Biafra is a dead dream. You deluded folk need to understand that and move on! |
gulfer:I have seen nothing in your response to convince any logical person here why state funds (and Taxpayers' money) should be used to support someone who we reasonably expect to have saved up for his latter years. Perhaps we should also take up the upkeep of Rashidi Yekini et al? Abeg we all learned from the fables of our childhood on the need to save up. I hate it when people try and put others on a guilt-trip over this issue. That's how that guy who helped design the Nigerian flag pops up every year to try to put Nigerians on a guilt trip. |
Abeg these people of abia state should shut their mouths and remain silent in their misery! i could understand if this was the guy's first term, but it's his 2nd term. These numskulls saw his abysmal performance in his first term yet still could not muster up the balls to vote him out. What were those cowards doing when their brothers in Imo state were kicking out Ohakim? What were they doing when real men of courage were voting out Alao Akala and kicking out the awful PDP Government from Edo State? Abeg let these cowards shut up and manage their Governor they put back in power. They obviously have not suffered enough. |

, did i say you should use state funds to support anyone? Read again, for all i care you can support Yekini or Shofoluwe etc . Just say a good thing that Gringory has done or do you not know how many pensioners are dying by the day. What happened to their pension-MONEY saved on their behalf by the government and Gringory is one of these.
