See people talking as if hacking NASS website mean anything and they are aligning it with revolution.I don't even know that NASS has a website.which information you wan find there ? Nothing
That's the point. You didn't know it existed. Now you know. And every minute it remains this way, the news spreads. At least one man is taking the fight to them the way he can. That should be commended. |
It's been said that among the casualties were innocent kids hawking pure water satchets. God damn MEND and their indiscriminate killing of innocents. Civillians killed in Lagos by MEND in the Atlas Cove attack, now more innocents slaughtered by these people. I only hope they have the power to raise the dead, if not how can they speak of justice when they have the blood of innocents on their hands? This is the end of MEND's masquerade as a group of 'freedom fighters'. Now they're just terrorists. |
kulutempa:The deaths of innocents do not need to occur before changes occur. And your second statement is rather silly; the people who felt the 'repercussions' today are not our leaders, but most likely innocent men and women. Perhaps YOU can cheerfully volunteer members of your family as sacrificial lambs in the future. But not the blood of other innocents. MEND = b.a.s.t.a.r.d.s. |
. I have a very good friend called Chuks Eboka. Can't wait to tease him about this. |
Seriously, why are many of the people commenting here so mentally challenged? 1. For those complaining about the '75' years, read the bloody article. She'll spend only 10 years in jail in total. 2. The other ones babbling about Lucky igbinedion and Bode George are even more foolish. Is this Judge the only one in Nigeria? So because Lucky got off scot-free (thanks to inept prosecution and poor handling from Ribadu's EFCC), all other judges in Nigeria should let other devious crooks off? Perhaps the Police should let off all the murderers in prison because Bola Ige's killers have not been found? Petty or not, thieves are thieves. We catch them and put them away, they can't scam or hurt anyone else. If you have seen an old man crying at a bank after ATM fraudsters made off with most of his life savings, you won't be spouting this rubbish. |
HTC Aria and HTC Tilt2? @post DO NOT GET HTC phones!!! They run on windows. . . .very slow and unreliable. Even my salesman begged me not to buy HTC phones. Try the android. Right now am on the backflip motorola android. . . . I LOVVVVVVEEEEEEEEE ITTTTTTTTT!!!
HTC is the manufacturer. There is no phone called HTC. HTC makes different phone models. Tilt, Tytn, Desire, Magic, Dream etc. Talking about buying a HTC is as silly as someone asking me if he should buy 'Toyota'. And just as a previous poster said, you need a new salesman ASAP. HTC almost exclusively makes Android phones these days. And in the world of Android phones, the Motorola Backflip is near the bottom. You really should have sprung for a Nexus One (still HTC made). It's been out since early 2010 but it's still infinitely better than the backflip. |
Brownteeth:You think if you walk down the streets of Kabul or Baghdad you would see suicide bombers jumping out at you? The evil lurks below the surface. Don't let your guard down for a moment. |
wales:To be fair, considering the fact that First Ladies are pretty high profile, they do need a moderate number of personal assistants. And for all you know, this PA may be paid from her pocket. Unlikely, i agree, but still plausible. |
izzau:There's no such phone as 'HTC'. |
The term 'Bold 3' was coined by bush and semi-literate traders to sell more of those devices. The Bold 9650 is just a CDMA hybrid of the 9700, with the added redeeming feature of shipping with more RAM than the 9700. The OS6 rom installed on it by the seller here is a leaked version. OS6 will come to the 9700 pretty soon though. |
Andre Uweh:It's ok. At least i see reason with what you're saying. In the light of our 50th anniversary, it is not out of place to look backwards. Once again, apologies for those who feel offended. Looking to the past is important. I hope you all will join me soon in looking to the future. I trust we all do not want our children to grow up in a broken country. |
This is one of the best articles i've read in a long time. It's a shame people aren't paying it any attention here. |
lexyman:No need. I can vouch for you. Lexyman has this way of getting games even before they are officially released in the stores. he's legit. |
chyz:I think many here have learnt not to take your rambling seriously. |
Ibime: udezue:And did you read the comment from Dede1 that i quoted, where he said my views are of those who are trying to tear Nigeria apart? udezue:Dude, you guys need to get off this state of paranoia for your own good. Not everyone who has a dissenting opinion is an 'enemy of the Igbos'. Showering such childish insults at me just because i'm urging you folk to respond more to the needs of the present day than dwelling in the past. I don't have a problem with you discussing past history, but you need to recognise the critical fact that if you're commending the heroic resistance of the Igbos in the past, what will people speak of your generation in 50 years time? This is not about 'starting a fight i can win'. There's nothing to 'win' here. Does this add any kobo to my pocket? If you still feel aggrieved, then i apologize. PS: there ARE different tribes in Edo state, and obviously your 'prostitution' jibes are aimed at the binis, a tribe to which i do not belong. However what you can't take away from the bini people is 1. They kicked out the PDP from Edo State in 2007 after years of non-performance, voting in an Etsako man (oshiomhole) over their own kinsman running under PDP's flag. 2. At least the traditional rulers and most of the common man in the state are solidly against kidnapping. |
Good. Now let him also review the decades of millitary rule in Nigeria to which he contributed. Rubbish. |
chyz:I'm from Edo state. I don't see any fulanis pushing anyone out in my state. You paranoid lot think anyone that has a dissenting opinion from yours must be Yoruba. Dede1:And how does this topic help to keep Nigeria together? Focus on the present so that your children can grow up in a better Nigeria instead of beating your chests over past glories! |
It is most likely that Jonathan isn't even aware of the fate of the Taxi Driver. As soon as he and his security detail would have determined that the thing was a mere accident, the presidential convoy would move on, leaving a small detachment to take care of the taxi driver. This is not like how the Imo Governor's convoy stopped. The presidential convoy will not stand still. Perhaps now Goodluck is aware, the man will be released. |
Please focus on resisting those kidnappers and armed robbers that are killing and maiming your people now instead of dredging up ancient glories. |
fairheart:You could first try breaking up your text with paragraphs and spaces so we can actually read it. Until then, no one will listen to your rants! |
mikeansy:For one rumour that has been proved right, 10 others have been proved wrong. Remember when that plane crashed in Obudu and people were carrying rumours that the plane had actually really flown to Cameroun with Odili and Ibori's loot? If Sanusi as the Central Bank Governor had not replied, would you not have been shocked? Usually you strive to reply as fast as possible to quell such statements like the one Soludo made. Why are you turning this against them? |
If you can't be bothered to answer your email, then post your number. Sent you an email, no reply. Smh |
See how educated Nigerians are so quick to believe an unsubstantiated story! No names, just the ever dubious 'highly placed sources'. And some of the brightest brains on Nairaland (oyb, mikeansy) are already jumping in feet first. Why would Jonathan want to go after Soludo, especially at a time when he is desperately courting the Igbos for his presidential ambition? |
babaearly:Let's put it this way: we haven't seen any evidence of Abiola being a drug pusher. However we know IBB annulled the freest and fairest election we've ever had. Let's work with what we KNOW, shall we? |
@Akin-Egba Do i have to remind you that this is the second such amnesty offer in the past year in Abia state? The same people collecting 'amnesty' now collected 'amnesty' then. Maybe when the third round comes you will start being cynical about such silly strategies. |
toba:Shhh! Don't encourage trolls, please! Ignore them for long enough and they'll go away. |
The Torch is actually the best Blackberry out there, but that isn't saying much given the primitive state of the BB OS. But it's not worth anything above 80k. Within two months, this phone will fall to that level or lower. It isn't selling well in the US sef. 105K? That's almost in iPhone 4 territory. No contest. |
kosovo:Disintegrated, how? The North would have turned their back on all that oil money from the south just because a Southerner won? A southerner that most of them voted for, i might add. And a Muslim for that matter. Abeg all these stories of disintegration are just rubbish. As for his Abacha fairytales, thousands of Nigerians danced in the streets when Abacha died. Thousands more are waiting to do that dance for IBB in due time. |
As I understand most of the kidnappers in Abia state are from the oil-producing region. I also learnt Abia was excluded in the initial amnesty and was only included now. Kidnapper is kidnapper whether militant kidnapper or Aba kidnapper. Either you kill all of them or you give amnesty to all of them.
Don't believe those lies. 99.9% of those people are fighting only for their pockets. That 'oil producing region' story is just a farce. The 'amnesty' being discussed now is a purely state affair, not the federal govt amnesty programme that has long since concluded. No one is including them in that, this is the Abia Governor using the lean resources of his state to fund this shameless 'amnesty'. |
Oh God, not the perennial beggar again! Abeg for the last time, let's state clearly that no one owes him anything for a job he was paid for. Please don't bring up this daft topic again. Nigerians are tired of having this same shameless hustle trotted out every October 1st. |

God is not an Angry man, nor does he hate anyone, but he does want you to be who he wants you to be. What can clay do to its sculpture? fight him? or say you don't want to be a particular style? God is the sculpture, he molded little you man, he owns you and he will forever, Okay? You need to go hunting, go out and see the beauty of nature and universe, planet, wild animals and you will see there is ONE TRUE GOD behind them. I think you spent quiet number of time writing your funny poem huh, and atleast, you won some recorgnition- When you experience some certain events, trials in life, you will KNOW THAT GOD IS NOT WHO YOU THINK. And trust me, people like you don't do much in life, but condenming Facts!!! I have talked to many people like you, I have seen the way they lived, I have seen how hard it's for them-LOWLY MENTALITY MAN!
