Gimme a break. I flew British Airways 2 weeks ago, and i'm as Nigerian as you are. In fact, i even took ill on the flight and they made sure they had someone constantly helping me. At least 80% of the flight crew stopped over to ask me how i was doing during the flight.

Currently in the Uk, just bought a couple of xbox 360 games only to remember days later that the 360 isn't region free like the PS3. Now i've got some PAl games (with an NTSC 360 ) which i won't be able to play when i return.
So here's the deal. These are the games i bought

Rockstar Table Tennis
Assassin's Creed
Devil may Cry 4
Topspin 2


All are new games. I'd preferrably agree to exchange with PS3 games or sell them off to decent bids. If anyone wants any of these and has any good PS3 games (brand new or in good condition) please reply.

Let's end this argument! The N95 is a great phone, and i like what Nokia has been able to cram into it, but so is the iPhone. Both have their strengths. . .
As for me, i wouldn't swap my iPhone for an N95. But that's my personal preference. Let's end this argument once and for all, k?

Even more surprising is your statement about the iPhone 'selecting computer OS'. AFAIK the phone works easily on a Mac and on Windows OS. You claim not to be tech savvy, so that rules out Linux. So what OS? Windows mobile?

The problem is some of you've always had things too easy. Now you have dotsis and other helpful sites. Way back in 2004, i had to get my Symbian apps through IRC. I still have fond memories of installing MIRc and grabbing 0day apps from mediaplace. After that i moved on to ftp. Now i've moved on from Nokia (for now)
Two people now have mentioned lack of iPhone apps on dotsis as reasons for sticking with Nokia. . .if only you knew how easy it is to grab stuff off installer.

Yeah, the suite is wonderful, been using it for a while now, a couple of bugfixes and it'll be perfect.

I still have uses for itunes, though. The option to manually manage music in the iphone allows you to 'roam' with your phone. ie, jack up to anyone's system and drag-and-drop.

I specifically mentioned the ngage platform. It's far easier and more lucrative for developers to bring their apps to apple's appstore. Don't forget that all the sdk apps will run on the iPod touch also, so there's a huge installed base waiting to be tapped.

Dunno if you guys are using this already, but i think kvip converter has to be the best thing since sliced bread! Easily convert any video format to iPhone format, with great quality

On my own, I have been doing some actual comparisons between Samsung LCDs and LG LCDs - you know, the big names like Sony are really out of range for some of us for now. I think Samsung has a lot of glare while LG is somewhat cool to the eyes. I am no expert, but that is my little observation.

i dunno why, but i somehow doubt you've looked at all the samsung and LG LCD TVs in the world to come to thatt conclusion.

If you run across an LG and a Samsung of equivalent specs, go for the Samsung.

Why use PDFviewer? Safari does a far better job since it even allows you to 'pinch'.
I use the PDF/DOC/XLS viewer from the Modmyiphone source. It needs PHP and lightppd installed, but i suspect you guys already have that running.

I would say that having ONE device is pretty much better than having a plethora of phones from the end users point of view. At least we know Apple's committed to developing the iPhone as a powerful handheld platform.

Nokia, on the other hand is committed to bringing out N96 et al, then they go on to the next one. The only thing linking these new N-series phones is N-gage, and you and i know tht that Ngage is unlikely o get as much developer support as the iPhone appstore.

anyway, i'll go out on a limb and say the iphone is certainly an excellent device to own. The hype surrouinding its release was enormous, so i can't say anything could ever possibly live up to that.


I've used a Trium 110, N-gage, 6600, 6630, Xda Mini and a HTC Tytn before the iPhone, and as far as i'm concerned the iPhone is the most fun of them all.
