AlexBells: Why won’t Igbo man be happy with the inept one. I’m really happy with Tinubu, I love him so much but that’s partly because of the success which can be a by product of failure. Tinubus failure can be advantageous if you know your onions. People that matter are balling, you that have been damaged by tribal hate who haven't fed well for days are saying nonsense as usual. 😂 |

PussyOdour:

Are they tired of teaching Mr. Obi and the igbos lesson.
Forget it, even if you're a messiah, if Igbos and the south southerners do not support you, you're bound to failed woefully in all ramifications. As you are contesting for presidency, just pray that these two regions support your candidacy, but if they frown upon it and maybe by mistake you won, no matter how hard you tried your best, you'll ended being the most clownish nonentity ever.
Buhari was the first, Tinubu followed, still counting. Lol calm down on the delusion. As terrible as Abacha government was, things were cheaper during his time compared to Obasanjo's time. That was when Eedris sang "Nigeria jajajaga".... Still, Obasanjo's tenure was better than Jonathan's, Jonathan's time was better than Buhari.... The person coming after Tinubu will still be worse than him even if na your Peter Obi |

aswani: Change the name of the city and this thread would have been full of people talking about "E bi'n pa wá" or people talking about how they wanted to "teach other people a lesson", even the corpse.
Thankfully other people are sensible enough not to pile on when people have been unfortunate as in this case.
Nigeria would be better. May the Good Lord minister to the kidnappers to release corpse and mourners. You are so right. They would have been beating their hairy chest about how their region has turned to eldorado in comparison to others. |

Nazgul: That's because Nairaland is anonymous. Twitter and Facebook carries your real bio-data, and since most of them are currently on begging mode, they won't want to compromise that by stubbornly remaining batified.
On Nairaland here, you can post anything you want cos it's anonymous. No one knows you. That's why you still see them deceiving themselves by claiming to remain batified, when in reality, they're literally begging for survival. The real image of people is when they are anonymous. This thread only show you that many are still loyal to Tinubu but may not express it openly because of the current economic problems. And since Nigerian politics is now fully tribal and religion based, Tinubu may still win in 2027 with power of incumbency in place. |

Ayo25: 💯. It is still BAT until 2031. As usual with BAT his detractors always have a semblance of victory at the initial stage, but BAT wins in the end.
Some of us expected this temporary period of hardship so it comes to us as nothing.
If the elections were to be reconducted tomorrow, I will still not vote Atiku òr Obi but BAT. Those who are mouthing off about warning us about Tinubu can still not explain to us what there candidates would have done differently at this period if they were the one.
The hardship and inflation in the country now is hardly any consolation for anybody or group of persons loss in the last general elections. Trust me whatever is happening now will not have any impact on how people vote in 2027. So if anyone thinks they can capitalise on this to win next election and bring their own version of misgovernance they are mistaken. You are deeply intelligent and smart. |

Godfullsam: The yorubas are special breeds.
Majority of them actually supported Tinubu and many supported obi too. If they supported you and you failed them, they will be the first to come out and criticize you. That is why you see that the criticism is louder in the SW.
It is not because they are the only region that is feeling the heat of tinubu's maladministration. The suffering is everywhere except you want to deceive yourself. When things were getting bad during Obasanjo's regime , it was the yorubas that first came out to criticize him.
The yorubas are not like the hausas/fulanis and igbos who will shield and support incompetent leaders because he came from their region. Thank you. Let them keep deceiving themselves. They still have many children to sell that is why they are still making mouth. They should keep forming billionaire beggars on social media. |
