1) There is World Albinism Day. It is used in creating awareness that Albinos should not be seen as 2nd class humans. If you are a normal human, you won't be a racist to them everyday. So why was only a day kept for this?
2) There is Mother's and Father's Day. A rational human would celebrate his/her mother's love and father's sacrifice everyday. So why was a only a day kept for this?
3) There is World Aids' Day where WHO and the Gov't share free condoms and give public lectures on HIV/AIDS. Don't we have the right to protect ourselves everyday? So why was a day kept for this?
The list of 'celebrated days' are endless.
Now understand this: a day is kept to create awareness about different 'things'. It is left for you as a rational human to continue for the remaining 364 days.
