ngwaba: I actually joined the group and saw how his games were moving etc. I chatted him privately to know how serious he was about his claims. He was so anxious for me to pay up and join the VVIP group. I told him I will do so next week. It was this week I started noticing that excuses for not winning became constant and that's when I came across your post. I still have his number. Good one. I am happy my post kept another person from falling victim. I was the reason he was giving those excuses. I noticed it was when I started complaining that he wanted to sound transparent on the 'free' group. Do you know if his channel is still up? He removed me, as I expected. |

ngwaba: Thanks for the information. This fellow is a criminal. Good to see that someone agrees. It appears you have encountered him. I have intention of monitoring him for some time. Once I detect him trying to lie to people, I'd block him if I could. I knew I could lose the money I paid him. What infuriated me was his boldness about fake picks. That made me stake too high. He did no better than I could have myself. The most annoying was that he still sounded arrogant and daring. |

This is a long one.
I have to start by commending the mods for deleting canvassing posts by the tipster called MoneyMall-Nigeria or MoneyMallNG. Although I saw his Telegram link here, I noticed the mods have been deleting his posts. Well done!
I observed his free Telegram channel for some time, although I wasn't staking on all games, and was impressed. You may search for it via Google if you wish to it check out.
I noticed he had, and still has, a VVIP 'rollover' plan (screenshot 1). It looked interesting. He even posted pictures of some winners from the VVIP group. But I further went ahead to confirm if there is a guarantee of winning 3 of 3 at a go on his 3-day rollover plan. Check screenshots 2 and 3 for his confirmations.
Could you imagine this fellow couldn't produce two consecutive wins? I had been staking higher than the 2K with the hope that he will at least produce two straight wins. If he did, I'd have recovered both stake and subscription payment.
But he only managed 2 wins out of 6! Imagine. That's from Friday to Monday (30th). I missed 2 of these games – one win and one loss.
After joining the so-called VVIP, I couldn't see any signs of the wins he had been claiming. I had to confirm from him if I was in the right place (screenshot 4). For instance, he seemed to be telling people in the free channel of how VVIP won Monday-Friday in screenshot 5. Look at the VVIP postings in screenshot 6 - only two games.
I have more damning evidence. For now, I hope people are learning the tricks of these people.
The poor fellow who claimed winning four seasons of rollovers won't refund just 12K when I decided to cut my loss. This guy be learner o. His claim: he didn't promise a refund. He forgot he didn't indicate payment was non-refundable as well.
I mean if you couldn't provide the deliverables, you should be able to return the payment. See lack of integrity. Small time na these same ones go dey abuse politicians. He was even threatening me when I informed him of my intention to expose his shady dealings.
I searched for people's experience with the MoneyMall-Nigeria guy on Google, but saw nothing. I did the same here and that was when I noticed mods had been deleting his posts. In my mind, I figured that was because promotion of betting was prohibited here. I went ahead to pay him because I couldn't find anything concrete, positive or negative, about him.
This is a warning to those of you thinking of doing anything with him to keep off! How I wish I saw something like this before I paid him. This one na hungry fellow, man.
Another reason I had to do this was that he even threatened to deal with me if I did so. He appears to be an arrogant person. I'm waiting for him.
I may post his name, phone numbers and website when I make up my mind on that. From my research, I found that he doesn't operate only on Telegram. People need to avoid doing anything with this kind of individual.
Update: If you come across any of the following details when dealing with anyone, run!
SKYE Bank Account Name: Aderemi Kayode Account Number: 3028987006 Account Type: Savings Account
Onlinemoneymals@gmail.com
07064370248 08121476804 08113512910 The funny thing was that I was unwilling to part with just 2K a month, even only N1, for any tipping service. I wouldn’t have risked near as much as I did if I knew this one na empty barrel – I’m not that reckless. My thought that he was genuine for having the confidence to charge that much. This one na story for the gods now. Be warned!

MemOL: I think he is truly a professional scammer, he sent a general mail few days ago that he has been away and busy bla bla, i just laughed, when he was collecting money, he was not busy, also i should have known when he reduced the price from 4k to 990naira, i even sent him a mail that why is it so low? but its well sha I smelled a rotten fish as well, but I decided to go ahead since the amount was lower than expected. Could you believe it took that guy several days to respond to my mails? Yet, he continued sending me messages on the handicap stuff and did not bother to apologise when he eventually responded. Very annoying. |

Nairaland General › Re: vfl by ThaThinka: 12:28pm On Aug 18, 2016 |
MemOL: I did business with him recently, bought the vfl handicap strategy and even bought his membership suite too, but few days after, the strategy which was supposed to be 'loss-proof' failed.. Now, we all know things like that happen, but nosayaba just vanished, he doesnt reply to mails or sms, all we need from him is just to tell us why it failed or is there an update to the strategy, but till date, he has not responded to all form of correspondence. I THINK YOU SHOULD STAY CLEAR Somehow, I saw this thread on Google 2-3 weeks ago when searching for info on the guy before paying, but I can't remember ever reading before I paid. I still wondered what happened, abi na jazz? Ta! The VFL handicap e-book (and the free ones he offered) did nothing. The amount required to earn just N50 (especially after losing streaks) was unreasonably high. Needless to say I didn't even use the 'strategy' but only studied it to determine feasibility. I wouldn't have paid if I had an idea of the gain-capital scenario. I didn't need to pay for a strategy that offers such very low returns - I have ignored patterns that gives slightly higher odds. I was preparing to pay after he dropped his price to N1,990. Lucky for me, the price dropped to N990 when I was ready to pay. That helped a bit to deal with the feeling of being scammed. |

segebobo: Thinking of setting up up business, professional MBA is relevant. For the corporate work without experience, let me use NAFDAC as an instance; With your masters degree, you need not write the aptitude test and you are qualified for a position above the entry level where competition is not as tough as those applying to th entry level position.
However work experience I still very important/relevant when applying to a job. My thought actually. Thanks for your input, sir. |
Education › Re: Is A Master's Degree Worthwhile? by ThaThinka(op): 8:21am On Jul 07, 2016 |
Loski26: You have the time, if the means is available, get the Masters. Like you said, it could come in handy tomorrow. Nigeria is still a "certificate country".
I like that you're looking at self-employment. Way to go. People in the corporate world with discerning minds are already working towards that.
Cheers! Thank you, sire! |

segebobo: The main advantage masters degree in Nigeria confer on you is that it gives u an edge for progression/advancement at your place of work. I won't advice an entrepreneur to go for masters in Nigeria, I'd rather advice he go for a professional course. However, if the plan is to go into the corporate world as an employee, by all means go for the masters Thanks for your response, sir. Please could you suggest sample professional course(s) for someone thinking about possibly starting his own business? For the part I bold, may I know what you think of the prospect of someone in his 30s with a Master's degree but without corporate work experience? Thanks. |
Education › Re: Is A Master's Degree Worthwhile? by ThaThinka(op): 8:01am On Jul 07, 2016 |
Loski26: You necessarily do not need a Corporate experience before you can go for your Masters.
The major question is WHY DO YOU WANT TO GO FOR MASTERS?
To boost your CV and up your chances of clinching an offer letter? Or you aim to dabble into academics/lecturing?
Your response will determine my advice. Thank you, Loski26, for taking some time to reply. To be honest with you, I am not entirely certain about the relevance of such a degree. I'm mainly considering it because I still have the time to do one now. As I stated in the original post, I'm now more interested in finding something I can do myself without having to search for job again after fruitless search these years. My only concern now is just that there might be a lucrative opportunity in the future that will require one, although my lack of corporate job experience is a source of concern for me. I am just not sure a business-related Master's degree will be worthwhile for someone in my age range without corporate work experience. Or what do you think, sir? |

Hello, everyone. I was just wondering if anyone here can answer the above question for me in my own case. This question was posted in another form about a month ago, but I didn't get feedback. I hope I get at least one useful one this time.
I'd like a knowledgeable person to advise whether it is advisable, or worth the money, for someone without corporate job experience to go for a master's degree. Please consider this is someone in his early 30s and with a business-related first degree. For now, I pay my bills doing personal stuff and I'm currently researching ways to make sizeable, steady income on my own. My interest in a master's degree right now is partly because I have enough time to work for one. But is that enough reason to go for such a degree considering the resources one would need to put in? Please advise. |

Here are some crying foul over spelling errors, insinuating others are not educated. But you also gave yourself away by generalising an entire tribe for the mistake of a person. In your clouded mind, is that how an educated person is expected to think? Tell me, in what way are you different from an unlettered person in your thinking? Nonsense! |

Career › Is An Msc In Finance Worthwhile In This Case Without Corporate Work Experience? by ThaThinka(op): 6:49pm On Jun 06, 2016 |
Hi, people. Please I need your view on something: would you advise someone close to 31 without corporate work experience to pursue a Master's degree in finance? The person in question is me. I entered university at 23 (mainly due to financial constraints) and completed NYSC few months shy of 29 years. Two major challenges I have had so far in job search are age and experience requirements. Maybe I'd have had better chances altering my age, but I don't want to do that (I'm not saying I'm a saint, though).
I have been keeping body and soul together with personal stuffs I have been into for the past several years. Now, I'm considering putting in for an MSc in Finance (had my first degree in Economics) since I still have enough time for such. Thanks to God I'm able to pay for the programme, but I'm wondering if the graduate programme would be really worth it based on my situation. To be honest, I have no motivation for a Master's degree at this time, safe for feeling of accomplishment since I believe I will come good. But is that really enough? Any useful opinions will be appreciated from those who probably know better about this sort of situation. Two heads, they say, are better than one. This is why I'm putting this one out there. No insulting comments, please. |

If this snake had been caught alive or even tracked and studied,it would have fetched 100x the amount it was sold for. In other places, rare sizes of snakes like this would be a subject of wide interest and studies by snake experts who would even come from far and wide, earning us much needed foreign exchange. But here,it has ended in somebody's pot of soup and a mere N10k when it cud have fetched good dollars. It's your opinion, man. Will you be able to catch this sort of snake alive? If you let it go, who will do the tracking and who knows who it might attack and kill on its way? Just wondering. |
