You are causing more harm than good with the tweets, for a process that is almost completed. If the GMD gives you a date and it doesn't come to pass due to unforeseens, you will still come back here and continue wailing. For instance, the senate planned to pass the 2020 budget on 28 November, but due to unforeseens (nddc budget bla bla bla), it was moved to next week. These are normal, especially in government. He has told you SOON. Guys have also confirmed that closure by HR and IT is in progress. What is so difficult to understand in that submission. Exercise patience!!! Kai !!!

Hello guys.

I think it's high time we bombarded NNPC's official Twitter handle with questions about the recruitment. From the look of things, they are quite responsive on that channel. They replied a guy who questioned the recruitment recently via a comment.

Let us not lose hope. I expect what I was told by a relative who has direct links with some people "up there" to come to pass. He said this week and I relayed the info.

Let us flood any post they make with recruitment questions. They will have no option but to answer. Imagine if they got 100 comments on each post about the recruitment. It will wake them up.

Not a good idea at this time. They have told us SOON repeatedly. Are you expecting them to give you a specific date? Who does that? even from the experience we've had here? We are talking about 1000+ candidates here to be processed starting from friday last week. Exercise patience guys. We are almost at the finish line.

My advice is that, we all dust our files and stay off drugs for the time being (if you're into it).. APL is ready for disbursement and it will drop tomorrow.. Shey we all like lies ..

Person will drop legit info, some people will use everything within their means to discredit it just because they felt it does not go down well with them. The fact is we do no have control over the situation in the Towers and other supervening events like the pending court case and the recently resolved contract staff situation.

Whilst we all expect the APL to drop anytime soon (either next week or next year), I'll advice that nobody should think he/she has monopoly of bad mouth. Some of us just had to keep mute because of home training .. In the hindsight, nobody should expect a reply or response from me. You tag me at your own peril..

If you truly understood what "maintain status quo" means , you will not bring up the court case as an issue here. I'll advise you look up @number5 explanation sometime ago and read it properly. Research the police recruitment as well.

While engaging the services of CV rewriters saves time, I always prefer learning how to write it yourself by doing some research. Looking up LinkedIn profiles of professionals in your field and getting experienced guys critique your CV is a good start. CVs are always work in progress and you are in the best position to tell your story.

While we await the APL to drop in the coming days, I got an info from my friend within the court reporters circles that the matter brought by the rogue lawyer Pelumi Olajengbesi was finally heard today by Justice Okon Abang of Federal High Court Abuja and the matter was adjourned to February 14 2020 for judgement.

The sauce gave some further info which I guess is not important to be shared here since the spirit is high and we are all expectant. I just hope it doesn't affect the much anticipated APL.

This is actually good news for the following reasons:

1. The list would have been released before the adjourned date, just as in the police recruitment. Afterall, Status quo is still being maintained based on the original age requirement. Any impact would now be on the next recruitment.

2. Had the court ruled against nnpc today (which is highly unlikely), the recruitment would have ended.

3. The GMD has said SOON. It is not conditional on the outcome of the case, else he would have mentioned it. He has also backed it up by giving go ahead yesterday as Napolitano said. We are still on track guys.

We all can get an answer quickly by uploading the 'Offer of Employment mail' to Twitter and tagging the concerned handles.

NNPC will be quick to disprove it if it's fake.
No cooperation wants to be associated with things that soil it name.

No need in my opinion. When apl is out, it will be publicly known. Let's be patient guys.

As we continue to grow here, I want to believe, we've gone past the stage of making unverifable submissions as to when to expect APL. Evidence based information is what we expect at this stage just as Panalyst, Cavalier and some others have done. Let's be guided please.

Guys I think the list is ready but the wait might not be over just yet. I was watching a program on AIT not long ago and the Senate committee on petroleum holding the list on their hands said it doesn't reflect federal character hence the recruitment should be cancelled, that a state has 17 names while the President's state has just 1. So let's hope they resolve the issue amicably without substituting names or cancel anything. coz I no trust these Senate guys.

I thought the list has passed through FCC where all these issues would have been sorted out since. I find it difficult to believe that we are still battling with federal character at this time.

There may be exceptions, but the goal will still be achieved, if you play your part, I play mine, everybody here does same. In fact, the goal has already been achieved, from the tweets and inquires I have read. It's better than staying in oblivion. Nothing wrong with asking for an update.

If we must ask questions, there are better controlled channels to do so, twitter is like a keg of gun powder, it just needs any fool to light a fire and it blows up on everyone's face.

They will be in minority. Reply that person's tweet and correct the person. Once done on several occasions, it will put us in a positive light.

I support the twitter idea. However, we should politely and respectfully ask for an update on the recruitment while thanking them for the transparent process recorded so far. No negative words. No tagging of opposition party. No negative hashtags. The key words should be politely and respectfully. Let's not forget, they are our future boss. Our attitude matters here.

Am from the west but honestly i would have been surprised if Atiku had pick his VP candidate from SW. He has done what is right and i can assure the Easterners that in this battle, You will never walk alone. Atiku/Obi ticket is not to redeem the east alone but Nigeria. East deserves this more than the West because if not for the SE/SS there wont be any PDP again in the first place.
