Its is no longer news that I have been declared insolvent. After all effort to maintain my liquidity level to no avail I decide to let her go.

Just as organization retrenched worker during periods of economic downturn in order to cut cost of operations, I sent her a massage expressing my regret and reasons.

She works and earns but I still wonder why she would want me to do everything for her. I compiled my income statement and statement of financial position for the first quarter and found out that expenditures have exceeded income and debt is on the rise.

So I wholeheartedly declared my self insolvent yesterday and decided to cut cost in order to protect my goodwill.

Why not loan her out and earn contractual interest and principal payments?

Or make a public offer of her and cash in from shareholders?

Getting first class is one thing, positioning oneself to excel in the labour market ( learning how to pass aptitude test, interviews)is another thing . It is better to have the latter than the former. If you have both, nothing can stop you

I disagree with your second to last paragraph. Introverts will be introverts whether they are high or low. The only difference is they go into solitude to recharge their social battery. They excuse themselves once in a while to have their me time, which helps in restoring their lost energy.

Most introverts don't find interaction as an issue. The only problem is interacting with peeps who don't share similar value with you, peeps who love shallow and frivolous talks. Interacting with these sets of people can drain an introvert mentally. I prefer having deep, heart-to-heart conversations.

Oga, you are missing the subject of my argument. My comments were based on my observation here where people who are in their formative youthful years are hiding behind introversion when they should put in more effort in developing themselves to the point where social interactions becomes seamless. Personal development builds self esteem. Self esteem enhances social interactions.

Even extroverts need their me time, trust me.

Hi guys, I have been reading comments here about introverts and I have a general observation to make.

What I seen here so far are young people that have not taken personal responsibility to develop themselves to the point where they can engage in social interactions with other people. Personal development is something that improves your self esteem and enables you interact with people without "feeling intimidated" or "introverted" as some of you have called it.

I hardly see people that are among the best in their field within any locality exhibit any form of introversion even though some of them are introverts. Because they have developed themselves to the point that they can engage in any form interaction with people and feel nothing.

There is very thing line between being introverted and not developing oneself to fit in to the society.

If you can sleep well at night having known her past, forgive her. If you can't, move on.

My question is: what will happen after the 14 days extension.

Spoke to my firm about it today. They are willing to pay me 7M per annum to stay.


Does anyone have an idea of what to expect from NNPC as a GT?

Can you see that you have developed character by this NNPC delay? The character of patience and humility. Imagine how proud you would have been if you got the APL in September 2019. How you would have snubbed people or retaliated on those who put you down. But this character of patience and humility will need to follow you to your future destination as GMD, GGM, GM, DM of NNPC etc. Can you see how patient and humble the GMD is? You need this character now because you will become like him tommorow, and will even do better things that will make NNPC the most distinguished oil and gas organization. The capacity in you is about to be on fire for great success. Never give up!! The APL will soon drop. Let's see what happens this week, but more after Feb 14, 2020. The way your pains will vanish when you collect APL, you will quickly forgive NNPC for delaying. I know it is painful, forgive them anyway.

I already decided not to say anything or make any comment in relation to the court matter since peeps here doesn't appreciate indepth search for information even at one's integrity and pride's detriment.

Anyways, I have this to say. TEASER4 and the rest can curse as much as they like, I'm not perturbed.

1. The law (any lawyer in the house can prove me wrong) is that judgement must be given within 90 days after parties adopt their processes and Feb 14 seems to be the rough estimate of 90 days since the last adjournment which as the news had it (and as I posted here even before the news was published) that parties adopted their respective processes in November 28, 2019 and the Court adjourned to Feb 14, 2020 for judgement/ruling (you may apply for CTC of records of proceedings of that day to confirm). Thus, if there will be any adjournment at all, it will be at the instance of the court for various reasons best known to it and the adjournment cannot exceed 28 February 2020.

2. What NNPC did was to direct their plans towards 14th February 2020 or a later not exceeding February 2020 since they are more comfortable with Hon Justice Okon Abang handling the case. Since Justice Abang was transferred back to Abuja from Asaba, NNPC has enjoyed 100% success rates in matters handled by him. It is widely known that Justice Abang is a judge that favours the government. So NNPC decided not to even contact the lawyer that sue them or his contacts and would love to have the matter decided by Justice Abang.

3. The initial plan before the first Judge (the present CJ) that was hearing the matter gave that order to maintain status quo was to just drag the case on and release the APL Midway through the matter so that the matter can be an academic exercise. They were however held back by the order of the Court to maintain status quo. They had release the thing and end the Project Eagle since late last year or earlier this year but they knew the implication of form 48 and 49 and thus, they decided not to give the lawyer who only wants to generate publicity the privilege and rights to rant on media.

4. A friend who works in the legal Dept of NNPC says that they are very optimistic that the decision would go the Corporation way and the matter will be decided based on the preliminary objection without any need to go to the merit of the action and even if the court decide to hear the merit, NNPC will surely win and the APL will drop almost immediately. S/He told me this since December last year and repeated same just last week.

P.S. I feel like getting this info out. I wanted to keep this to myself just like I kept other info but I guess someone needs this so as to have his/her eggs evenly shared and not have it all thrown in one basket. For those that doesn't want to hear anything about the court case or thinks it has been settled, make the right calls to either the court, the corporation or the lawyer and you will know the true state of the matter.

This court case is still trash in my opinion and not the main reason for the delay!

This recruitment is dragging because of new management and "diluted" interest. That's all I can say.

The thing is most of the Elite kids missed out on this particular recruitment, that's the major reason why they don't even care about our psychological state of the mind.
They have been stalling this process just to look for means to smuggle their candidates into the system. It looks like balher the GMD's personal photograper has been technically knocked out at the CBT stage.
