https://twitter.com/fkeyamo/status/1955524808067912142?t=N9W1LoRvGH7DF5_1N_92uA&s=19 Reads more like a prisoner exchange situation ![]() |
TemporaryHansel:What's the punishment for assault, and what's the punishment for "hijacking a plane"? Also understand that the girl in question wanted to deplane but was prevented from doing so...I guess it's an Air Marshal and not a hair hostess that conducts arrests within a plane, so whatever the air hostess was attempting could as well be classed as an illegal detention. I believe if things are taken to the letter of the law, the girl would have a more weight case. |
raumdeuter:So all his colleagues with similar trajectory in private sector have these sort of majestic property to their name ![]() |
KingTom:Lol, I mean she has the breasts of one in the early years of mentoring, consistent with her age. ![]() |
GloriousGbola:Relatively speaking, Nigeria ranks very high in injustice and disregard for rule of law. |
liveLongNprospa:There's no moral lesson to learn from this girls situation... Nigeria is simply an unjust society, and what's right and wrong only depends on your social and economic standing. |
Maeve7:These girls just big, na last year she finish University |
CAPdan21:Nothing. It's left to be seen what happens in the girl's case...it'd be real stinking hypocrisy if she does even community service while Oshiomhole and Kwam1 walked free. |
KingTom:BlueRay dey look imsef less, the people wey dey mentor the girl no reach am o ![]() |
sleekdot: ![]() |
Lol, the girl be like who don already dey under mentorship, and it's likely her recent issue might expose her to even more mentors ![]() |
raumdeuter:Pheew...Helen Ukpabio did unchecked damage in her hey days, she go still dey run am on a low, but she's not moving mad like she used to before, she's gotten so much attention come her way, including one viral documentary by some foreign reporters. There was even one period like that they dragged her daughter on Twitter for several days. Her daughter works in the entertainement industry was really into that emo/gothic style, which was especially odd since she'd have fit the profile of somebody that her mum would recommend for deliverance. She was giving the people back to back, defending her mum, but it was always going to be a losing battle ![]() Too many kids in Akwa-Ibom were labelled witches and lost limbs and even their lives to that madness, less said about the irreperable damage it did to families the better. Or is it old people that were suffering from dementia and found themselves in the wrong places and were labelled witches and lynched...this was very common in Benin City and it'd get reported as news by TV Stations. Edo Central was a den of witch labelling, families got ostracized and I'm sure it's still a problem till today. Disstroy, how far, is Helen Ukpabio still doing her thing? |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:Was tongue in cheek, just dey curious as to why those tales have become less trendy. |
iamoyindamola:You can get a crowd for anything up North, those guys plenty like sand. You no see the way Barcelona Fans convention for one of these Northern states take carry crowd. |
raumdeuter:Lol, that was another very crazy era, open confession to killing hundreds or even thousands of people yet the authorities didn't think to look into their serial killing ...Yea, people cashed out like mad from that thing. The scientific explanation for things and exposure is one part of the explanation, but there's also the part of people just not having interest in these sort of things again. Even in Church, I can't remember the last time that pastor preached about the book of Revelation and the end of the world...if it's not prosperity, it's some other sort of self-help doctrine, and we can't say these pastors don't "believe" or at least acknowledge these parts of the bible as God's world. |
The Mark of the Beast and 6. The hysteria that used to be associated with rapture and the end of the world seems to have reduced...it was quite the thing one year, preachers were obsessed about it, so many movies made about it, and even as kids we were always on the look out for signs that signalled the end of the world. I guess the reduced belief in the end of the world can only mean one thing, that we're in the end times. |

iamoyindamola:They want to crush her spirit, that's all there is to it, preferably in a kneeling position, so that someone would "leak" the video of her doing that and it'd be something for their fanbase to pat themselves on the back for. Make the girl just find way japa, she doesn't really need the document outside of Nigeria...there's just too many reasons to hate the zoo. |
Amigoss:You don sabi Gallon man finish ![]() |
Ibime:Coincidentally I've been listening to the audio book for like the past three weeks. |
seankafor:I really don't see how an elbow would work in that situation sha, at least for someone with normal range of flexibility. Modified: Elbow go work if the person in the lock is around same height with the person doing the locking. |
iamoyindamola:In all of that melee I no even see one clean punch...that guy wey do the headlock was the star of the show. |
liveLongNprospa:Because of sentiments, a case has now been made for a pilot that has no business being in the skies anytime soon, and the threshold for what's considered minimum level of fvckup in what's normally a tightly regulated profession has been lowered. |
raumdeuter:Someone that admitted to standing up in an exam hall to snitch on a classmate that was cheating has some difficulty behaving in ways that's socially appropriate and she certainly doesn't care to be liked either. I've never seen her negative opinions on her Nigerian experience as an act, and more than likely it's an obsession that'd alienate moderate conservatives (who are in the majority), I mean who wants a PM that every Eke Market day is yapping about her third-world shyte hole country? If it's a political strategy, it's a pretty dumb one, cause she doesn't have the skin color to pull off what people assume she's trying to pull off. She gives the impression of a woman that's living what she what she considers to be her version of the truth...might not be perfect and maybe sometimes hypocritical, but it's her truth and she seems to feel very strongly about these things. If we look beyond our country's ego that's getting brusied by the things she says, there's hardly anything she's said that the average Nigerian hasn't said in public and private...her major crime seems to be that she says these things as a politician that wants nothing to do with the country. |
Roland17:There's no consequence for anything...you think you've seen something crazy and you're guaranteed to see something even crazier. On a norms what he did is grounds for at a quiet easing out by his sponsors, but you can bet nothing would happen and the highest inconvenence he'd suffer from this is the cotonou detour. |
raumdeuter: ![]() Crazy...body go tell am nonetheless. |
sebod: ![]() |
BlueRayDick:If you even look ther video, KWAM1 and the airport officials were standing at the nose of the plane (meaning the pilot was definitely seeing them), it was when they must have seen that the pilot was making attempt to move that they moved from there to the side - KWAM1 just happened to react last and that's why he was almost crushed. There's just too much anyhowness in this country, especially from these our so-called elites. |
Ellexy:Lol, e say na punk ![]() Tinubu sef dey try, these ones sef go follow dey dobale and e go even hug dem all the while know the guy's simply a hungry bastard ![]() |
raumdeuter:Lol, those pilots suppose know better, the main thing dem go use hold them na their standard protocol regarding pre-flight safety checks (that could have as well been airport staff)...their emotional excesses would be nail on the coffin, though they could claim their actions weren't driven by emotions. There's a very high chance those guys never fly another plane, and on a norms KWAM1 suppose dey on no fly list for the rest of e life. |
Ellexy:And this was barely 8 months to the elections, Airmark no go see all this one take build e agenda on top. |
raumdeuter:Has Edo done 60% before for any candidate? Now imagine doing that in a three horse race and for a rookie political platform? You're trying too hard to twist results to fit your position that they voted for Obi in the SE simply because of tribal sentiments. Well it's a good thing you've come out of the shed a bit, it's now 30% that's contribution for tribal sentiments...I don try small today ![]() |
