raumdeuter: Many people genuinely do not know any better. An average person believes govt should be paying him for existing, and everything should be free for him for just being born
Many of these popular influencers are also cut from the same coat
I guess so, you'd just think he'd know better sha, especially since he's a business man and quite exposed too. Maybe there's some nuance he has on the thing sha...
TemporaryHansel: I can’t support this at all. DStv is a private company, why should the government be dictating what they charge for their services? If you can’t afford it, switch. It’s not by force to use DStv.
If people want socialism, they should just say it with their full chest and stop dancing around it.
His take on most issues is arse, seems like he just rode the Obidient movement to gain notoriety.
Ellexy: You're the one clearly living under a rock or perhaps inside the same bunker of delusion with Ayatollah. The U.S. military’s objective wasn’t a regime change in Tehran or a war even, it was to simply cripple Iran’s nuclear infrastructure and send a message about precision and deterrence. They achieved their objectives 100 percent without triggering a regional war and no retaliation of note, just empty rhetoric and symbolic fireworks like you're still doing now.
As for Trump you keep yapping about, his tweets are more powerful and earth shaking than the Iranian military arsenals put together. Think about that.
OasisX: ......I honestly wish you go through MMIA next time sir. Arrival is an eyesore. Attached image are bettet than MMIA. Kindly check with anyone who has been there recently.
I know NAIA is ok but MMIA?! Make dem rebuld it pls. I don't know if you have been to Jomo Kenyata International Airport, if yes, compare it with most busy Airport of so called Giant of Africa.
Last time I was in Nairobi, nearly lost inside JKIA. LOL!
Airport wey dey picture perfect + cool breeze from Atlantic ocean while using the coastal highway...Naija don better finish be that .
Tinubu sha get many people wey go dey impressed with these white elephant projects.
I hope someday we get elected officials that'd judge their performance through simple yet critical HDI, those things that improve quality of life at scale.
The amount of injustice in this country is crazy, saw one of a boy that got into prison when he was 12 years, and he ended up spending 10 years inside.
Other than the spelling difference, is there anything else that Ibo connotes?
I spelled it Ibo for the longest, was checked one time and have since stuck with Igbo, but curious as to if Ibo means anything other than another spelling of the word Igbo.
I often see it as something that wasn't really anything suddenly made to become something more than it was, and now it's indeed become a thing
......who is the person?! Which University is he working?! How are we sure everything he said is true?!
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR will sort out the arrears and owed salaries, if genuinely his claims are true. It won't stop the administration either from implementing the new Initiative.
Its not by force to subscribe to it, those that need it will do as some students are doing with NELFUND.
I told you about complaints of poor and delayed salaries which I've been witness of, you said it's because I'm Obidient. Amoto that's sentimental to APC also came and posted something along those lines, and you say that too is a lie.
Oya leave what Amoto posted, and leave what I said, use your brain to decide on what serves these university employees better, the salary they've always cried for, or loans that have never been their primary pain point?
People that their salaries can't meet their basic needs are who Tinubu wants to use loan to kill.
Amoto94: FG want to give me a ₦10m loan that I will repay over 4 years or so to help my life. Meanwhile, I have a remnant of about ₦8.8m as the unpaid Earned Academic Allowance that is with the FG. I have about 3 and a half months' withheld salary, which is about ₦1.3m, with the FG. I have unpaid promotion arrears from 2017 to 2023 that I don't even know the amount and it's with the FG. There were other arrears that they deliberately refused to pay to university workers. If FG should pay me this money, which is even more than the ₦10m, I do not need their ₦10m loan. airmark: Well, Obi shouldn't have deceived them with unfulfilled promises. Like some of us figured out since, he always says what people want to hear and not what's practicable. Such unreliable person should not be entrusted with public funds and leadership role at federal level. This is another confirmation.
airmark: Read through and tell me how this is favouritism.
Your type blows funds every Friday at Vaniti but back home your family members are groaning under your vanity.
Peter Obi’s kinsmen protest over his failed promises to community in Anambra.
January 7, 2024
The youths of Agulu, Peter Obi‘s kinsmen, in Anaocha local government area of Anambra state, staged a protest against the Labour Party, presidential candidate during the last presidential election, accusing him of abandoning his community with many failed promises.
The over 2000 protesters marched through the community with placards with various inscriptions, listing some of the projects he promised his people without accomplishing any during his time as governor of Anambra state.
Those projects, according to them, included Obeagu water scheme, judge’s quarters, Fire Service centre, police station among others, adding, “charity begins at home”
They also accused him of negligence and abandonment of Agulu General Hospital, while he traveled all over Nigeria and Africa donating huge sums of money.
The protesters accused their brother of donating 20 million naira to a General hospital at Nsukka, while the one in his community had been overgrown with weeds with all manner of dangerous reptiles and insects playing ‘samba’ game there.
Again, they were not happy with the alleged embezzlement of 40 million naira show your community projects, released by former Governor of the state, Chief Willie Obiano to the community
They did not accuse Obi for being responsible for it, but, were angry against the contractor for taking the community for a ride.
According to one of the protesters, who spoke with The Nation and simply gave his name as Ugochukwu, the contract for the building of the General Hospital Agulu was awarded by Mr. Peter Obi.
The source said Obi claimed to have paid over 200 million naira to the contractor (names withheld) for the rehabilitation of the hospital adding that the contractor, had repeatedly denied collecting that amount of money from Peter Obi.
However, the angry youths had called on Governor Chukwuma Soludo to wade into the matter as the community had no functional hospital.
10 years after leaving office, and two governors later "Peter Obi's kinsmen" are still waiting for him to perform the duties of a governor
At what point will you leave opposition-curated propaganda and seek the truth for yourself. They'd soon feed you news on Peter Obi's diamond boxers and singlet and you'd be here to post it.
Even me wey no get money, don use more than 5 watches in the last 15 years. Naija politicians think we are dumb with their no shoe and 1 wristwatch lamba.
Peter Obi fashion police, continue, you go soon discover e diamond-plated boxers and singlet.
......did any Lecturer complain to you that FG is owing them?!
Trust semid4lyfe and the likes to appreciate the initiative.
I didn't say they were being owed (even though it happens every now and again), but they complain bitterly about their renumerations, had to listen to another complaining today and it was triggered by the largesse that went the way of the Super Falcons.
Media reported killings in Nigeria for the second quarter of 2025. Tinubu has turned Nigeria into the murder and mass burial capital of the world. There are countries that are said to be in war yet aren't posting these sort of numbers.
TemporaryHansel: Disstroy cooked up a story, and some of you ran with it like it’s gospel. Now anytime you want to throw shade or banter and you have nothing real to use, you default to that tired line “you were crying in some girl’s DM.”
If you weren’t there and don’t know what actually happened, stop spreading stories you can’t trace. It’s lazy.
Lol, this story didn't originate from Disstroy sha
raumdeuter: According to Obi governance is not rocket science but we have been looking at his Anambra governance and it seems like rocket science oh
Shey na the same brain he use govern Anambra into that condition he wan use govern Nigeria abi na another one?
If it was Sowore or some candidate who has never governed before we for dey give am benefit of doubt but Obi that actually governed and the state turned into a mess in his hand suddenly remembered its not rocket science
The easiest way to identify a failure in governance is one who can only point at those who took over from him as evidence of his success.
The failure that Lagos experienced under Tinubu's tenure, he has brought to the national scale...I trust am sha, when e tenure finish e go begin point e successor work as e own.
Everybody knows that Tinubu is a failure, it's only unfortunate that the average Nigerian is having to suffer the consequence of his well-documented incompetence.
