The truth is simple, if Tinubu was actually delivering results, our resident Nigerian-based agbadorians here would be flooding this thread with bragging rights and screenshots. But they’ve all gone silent because even they can’t reconcile the reality on ground with the scripted propaganda online. Reality has bullied them into silence.

It’s mostly the ones abroad still putting up a fight, and even they know better than to flaunt Tinubu’s achievements. Instead, they deflect everytime to Peter Obi because it’s easier to throw shade than defend failure with receipts. Enjoying a good life abroad, defending disaster back home.
Tinubu has failed, everybody knows this...2 years after they stole an election and all they still don't have any results to campaign with, same pre-election tactics.

Or claiming you left 200bn in account when you have written post dated checks to contractors in the amount of 300m to be cashed 1 week after you leave office
The post-dated check you're crying about is not even up to 1% of the money he left behind, or will you have felt better if Obi said he left 199.7 billion instead grin

Ayiri money and clean?

Loooool.
The annoying part is he should be having clean money because of how long and how much he made/makes as a contractor to chevron.
This his brother arrested is probably the same one I met in escravos in 2018 working around the airstrip side.

I don't understand greed guy.
They believe they can get away with anything so they put their hands in any and every, the concept of clean and dirty money doesn't matter to guys like that, to them money is money.

I never underestimate the stewpeeedety of Nigerians. If I put this statement to my uncle in the village, he will equate it literally.

Nigeria has bought a $100m Presidential Jet while putting the previous 3 up for sale due to costly maintenance issues. Subsidy yearly cost was $9.7bln. He should find another example
The point was clear enough from the video, you missed it.

Prospa clued you in, and you still didn't get it.

You've finally come to the point the man was making and instead of taking the L, want to pass the buck to your uncle in the village. Not happening, this one's on you.

He said Obi would have also ended subsidy but would not use the savings to replace private Jet

Unless you are completely innumerate, what do you take this statement to mean?
How have you managed to turn Cosmas Maduka giving an example of the sort of wastage Peter Obi won't engage in into him saying Tinubu spent the entire subsidy savings on a private jet? cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

Obi is the reason Oasisx has relevance to his people.
Obviously he cannot dissect the wrongs of this government or policies (those ones he leaves to the more capable hands).

So abeg, nor commot food from e mouth🙏.
It might sound like a joke, but this is the mindset of the average cornvict, especially those looking to get gigs from government. It was how one of them was in the presence of one politician like that and he brought his phone out to show the man tweets of him insulting Obidients grin

Won't be surprised if Oasis does the things he does so he can compile his own "I insulted Peter Obi" evidence.

Comparing importers who sell computers, phones and accessories at computer village with hair vendors is apples vs oranges debate bro.

Almost everywhere u turn online u see "wigs by x", "wigs by v", etc. Someone already pointed it out earlier that the wigs market is saturated and definitely not profitable enough for a seller to make that kind of margin that will afford u a luxury vehicle worth 400 million naira.

I know we have a number problem in this country, but haba! I no go swallow that kind lamba say the lady made over 400 million in profit retailing just wigs and hairs.
I'm not speaking for the lady, my point is there are people within that industry that can do those numbers, which means she could be one of those persons doing the numbers.

When the topic of billionaire importers in Computer Village came up, this was also how it was opposed.

E fit be say na you dey clear container from port, make people you dey supply dey make higher margins...every body with their respective market.

Now imagine a business man/woman that inserts themselves at the port end (bringing in their own containers) and at the direct to customer end, all the profit that'd have gone to retailers, they're making it all for themselves grin

All this one wey u dey talk na cap. Nobody will make enough money to be able to buy 400 million cybertruck from buying and selling wigs and hairs in Lagos.
Do you think people can become billionaires through buying and selling in Lagos?

I know we've made an argument about billionaires not existing in Computer Village before, today it's hair sellers...which business do you think people can become billionaires from, strictly through buying and selling?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 5:08pm On Jul 01, 2025
The existence of billionaires is proof that people can make stupendous amounts of money in very short periods, and there's no industry that doesn't have persons that have done such.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 10:01pm On Jun 30, 2025
The way we dey talk this tax matter, e almost be like na Oyinbo country we dey. Even in countries where there's somewhat fair use of tax, people (billionaires inclusive) are still looking for ways to duck taxes, now imagine a country where you can pay tax of say 1M a year, and less that 100K actually finds use in governance...what then is the incentive to continue paying these taxes?

Like how many persons would continue paying estate dues if they find out that their estate chairman is embezzling up to 60% of the dues they pay?

I don't think the average Nigerian pays taxes because they believe it's the right thing to do, or that it'd trickle down somehow...they pay because they have no choice, and left to their own devices, or bar the benefits that come from having that paper trail, most persons won't pay tax.

Is it not the lawlessness that is displayed in the country that would make someone come and demolish house that another person has documents to.

So not only cannot you not prove where he blamed this government for directly causing the demolition due to him being him.

You've have gone further to show us that he maintained his point about the display of lawlessness in this country.
Same lawlessness that we all complain about.

So that lawlessness automatically means he was saying "APC government has destroyed this property because it's related to me (Peter Obi)"

LOL Clown!

The defining moment for me was when TheFlint1 admitted he has no interest in contributing to societal development or righting anomalies beyond the direct concerns of his family members.

At that point, I knew I was dealing with unwilling armchair analysts who'd rather pile on pages complaining about everything wrong with society but withdraw to the rear when situations call for acting. I just knew we don't think the same. I'd rather act than talk. Doing something is better than doing nothing.

Now let me brag.

While you were hyperventilating about what Disstroy has been up to:

- He got awarded by his community for contributions which he had earlier stated in previous months.

- He got tasked with facilitating the registration of his community as an HCDT, heading the committee charged with doing so. He's begun the process.

- Earlier on in the month, he facilitated a workshop in related areas.

- By the end of this month, he'd be doing something similar.

- Same month, he got nominated into a 5-person committee to chronicle developmental strides in his community and beyond, shortlisting deserving persons who have facilitated development over the decades for official recognition and awards, and starting a fund which targets the indigent and spurring developments.
Everything precipitates this November.

And in all that time he hasn't even bothered to check in on Nairaland (and barely tweeted even) while you've piled on 50(?) pages complaining about everything wrong with Nigeria.

You talk and complain, I act because I am tired of complaining. Only one of us in making a real difference and it's not you.

This is my joy. We don't think alike.

Now rant until when I remember to come on here, wasting away your time. You can keep living your illusion on Nairaland. smiley
I do my bit, just don't make it the focus of my every existence...for now my contribution to society is doing right by my loved ones. When leg don stand proper, I might extend myself.

I'm not stealing public funds to be responsible to those I'm responsible for. Me demanding more from politicians responsible for our collective wealth is me performing a civic responsibility and if that alone is my contribution to society, it's something.
