Bros. You too much No. 5 got me rolling. "Bros. Nice one". Jayrehme1112: There are several people when it comes to buying condoms in Nigeria. Most people are so shy and act like they don’t use it, then you wonder who actually does.
Here is a list of several reactions people have to buy condoms. So catch your sub.
1. The Unneccesary Buyers These set of people are the ones that walk into the pharmacy and start picking unnecessary stuff until they slip the condoms into the pile. In the end, they could buy a drug they don’t need or even tissue paper.
2. The Waiters These set of people don’t mind waiting till the store is almost closed. They would wait till everyone buys what they want to get and then walk up to the counter to ask for the condom. They can stand for hours. They don’t mind telling other people to buy first pretending to make a call.
3. The Paper Geng These don’t have time to talk. They just write the name of the condom they want in a shit of paper. They are the no stress gang
4. The Beggers These set of people can go any length to beg anyone around to buy a condom from them in the pharmacy. They don’t mind tipping you, all they do is stand by the side and wait for you.
5. Whisper These don’t mind going into the mouth of the sellers. They go straight to meet the sellers and speak softly into their years. All of a sudden you see them collecting a pack in nylon and saying, ” Bros Nice one... |
Politics › Re: Governor Zulum Recommends the Use of Mercenaries to Defeat Boko Haram. by THEGALADIMA(m): 11:23pm On Nov 30, 2020 |
PhiliptheArab: I'M BLOWN BRO. GOOD WORK
There are no saboteurs sabotaging the Boko Haram war.
Unconventional warfare is warfare that is not designed to be won, or lost. It is designed to scare and frighten your enemy so that the enemy gives up. It doesn't matter how many Bokoist die, or how many battles the Nigerian army wins, so long as Boko can outlast the NA, they have won.
Or why do you think it took decades for the British Army to fight the IRA in Northern Ireland? And that war did not end on the field...it ended with a peace treaty. How about the Americans in Afghanistan and before then Vietnam? The Soviets in Afghanistan too? The US and the Soviets lost out both in Vietnam and Afghanistan not because of sabotuers, or because of 'corruption'..they infact won most major battles, but because the Vietnamese revolutionaries and the Afghan muhajideen were ready to outlast them.It didn't matter how many times they lost..they always came back for more and more...and were ready to play by no rules....
That's how guriella war works. IF YOU DON'T LOSE, YOU WIN.'. Right now across the world in countries from the Phillipines to Colombia, there are insurgenices that have been lasting for over 3-4 decades.
That's why beating Boko is going to take a long time. (and why I am reluctant to bash both this current government and the previous one for 'failing' to beat Boko.Doing so in a way is a failure to understand guriella warfare).
The mercs we used last time against Boko came from South Africa. South Africa under Arphateid had probably the best COIN forces battliing freedom fioghters in Angola, Namibia and South Africa. The Rhodesians had the best counter-insurgency unit of the 1970's (the infamous Selous Scouts) fighting ZANLA troops. And despite that...the SA bush war and the Rhodesian bush war were not ended on the battle field.
We beat Boko when they fought conventionally. It is the old methods of 'strike and run' that are more difficult to beat.
MODIFIED
My thanks for all the likes and quotes, especially the positive ones.
By the way this is not a pro or anti-government post. It is my ruminations on the lessons from past unconventional conflicts.
Something I read over twelve years ago...terroirsts are not interested in defeating the enemy per se...they just want to scare the enemy to a point that would make him withdraw.
Like the US in Vietnam. The US won every if not all major engagements of the war. They lost because the Vietnamese were ready to outlast them. The Vietnamese did the same to the French that came before the US.... |

LegendHero: VERY PRECISE LOGICAL ARGUMENT.
Money don’t care whether you have PhD or not. Everyone deserve the right to good living whether educated or illiterate.
Nigerians have been wired with this bullshit that the educated alone deserve good living while the uneducated should be confined to the wretched part of the society.
If just looking at the surface, this guy is a member of the NURTW, a government recognized union body, so you don’t need to say the country is upside down because of him building a hotel.
Yes, we can talk about corruption and question the cost of this hotel in comparison to his take home pay, if you suspect a foul play then you can attack him alone instead of the class he belongs to. |

Please, what book is this quotation from.....it is really really familiar, I can't just wrap my head around it now. Witcher: Without, the night was cold and wet, but in the small parlour of Laburnam mud room the blinds were drawn and the fire burned brightly. Father and son were at chess, the former, who possessed ideas about the game involving radical changes, putting his king into such sharp and unnecessary perils that it even provoked comment from the white-haired old lady knitting placidly by the fire.
"Hark at the wind," said Mr. Kabiru, who, having seen a fatal mistake after it was too late, was amiably desirous of preventing his son from seeing it.
"I'm listening," said the latter, grimly surveying the board as he stretched out his hand. "Check."
"I should hardly think that he'd come to-night," said his father, with his hand poised over the board.
"Mate," replied the son.
"That's the worst of living so far out," bawled Mr. Kabiru, with sudden and unlooked-for violence; "of all the beastly, slushy, out-of-the-way places to live in, this is the worst. Pathway's a bog, and the road's a torrent. I don't know what people are thinking about. I suppose because only two houses in the road are let, they think it doesn't matter."
"Never mind, dear," said his wife, soothingly; "perhaps you'll win the next one." |

My Brother, those Iranians have high technology, when it comes to classic terrorism as we know.....Duff ur hat for the Iranians. Another thing is they got history and heart. They have been a nation fighting legends from Alexander the great to Genghis Khan to Saddam Hussein.....the list is endless. cybertron88: Iran should better thread with caution. Trump is not Obama o. Someone who promised to build a wall around Mexican border and also cut China to size. as stupid as those campaign promises sounded back then, Trump has already achieved them. He is no politician, he comes from a successful business background. Talk and do. Iran has emotionally talked itself into trouble. Saudi Arabia won't mind attacking US facility codedely and tag it on Iran as any attack on US in the middle East would be deemed an Iranian attack. The mumu egoistic ayetollah won't even want to deny it. Isreal is standing by the corner waiting for the slightest reason to go all out against iran. It's a terrible situation for Iran, they were over pampered by the Obama administration. When Sadam Hussain was alive who know Iran. Democrats made Iran feel like a world power by allowing them access to their frozen funds in exchange for halting nuclear advancement. Iran has been using those funds to fund terrorist organizations like Hezbollah and hamas and fight proxy wars against the US and Isreal. Thank God Trump has shredded d deal and impose heavy sanctions. Let's see where Iran will get d funds to prosecute a full scale war. |
