Crime / Re: I Have Been Passing Through Hell Because Of My Mum...your Advice Is Needed by TheGreatIYANU: 11:46pm On May 13, 2023
You're making a terrible mistake trying to learn 3 tough skills at the same time.

Examine your proclivities, select the skill that best suits YOU, then dig in.

Dedicate one whole year to become a master in it.

Get menial jobs, cashier, bricklayer etc to survive the year.

I promise you... by the time you focus for a year, the speed with which you will climb the labour market will shock even your enemies.

Reread all I have written and start now.

Politics / Re: Egypt Ordered Nigerian Students Back To Sudan Over ‘Unruly Conduct’ by TheGreatIYANU: 10:39pm On May 06, 2023
oluwaseyi0:
Egypt must be mad or something
Ask them to go to war zone simply for behaving like a panicked human in a fight or flight mode

All they want to do is simply come to Nigeria

Because of 2 people probably forgetting their passport in Sudan out of panic you want to send 500 people into harm's way

Try that nonsense and see

I know those people did wrong but this is a nonsensical threat taken too far

Lol... Egypt shook "try that nonsense and see" grin grin grin

What will you do? Lol... you are not informed!
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Kindly Advice The HR by TheGreatIYANU: 11:46pm On May 01, 2023
Who tested the fetus to ascertain gateman did it? Or did he confess?

If the latter is the case, you have no case... it takes two to tango, but for now, Mr. Expatriate has three choices:

1. Get the wife to do an abortion and continue the marriage

2. Allow her bear the child and continue the marriage

OR

3. Send her on her way with loverboy gateman

Either way, this is no decision for Mr. HR.

Tell him to stand down grin

My face is quite fine, and I felt no slap! cool

The real shame is that Nigerians can't be model citizens within and outside Nigeria!

That's what we should be more concerned about not how smaller nations are doing the right thing by deporting lawless Nigerians!

You have both succinctly hit the nail on the head! I was in Benin last year December, I could see how fellow Nigerians were gradually and systematically corrupting the peaceful, contented culture of the Beninese.

Once you get anywhere and announce you're a Nigerian, the atmosphere suddenly tightens up and they look at you through lenses of suspicion. I was alarmed, but thankfully in the few days I spent there, I convinced my hosts that not all Nigerians were as morally bereft, desperate and asinine like the few they had seen in their country.

In fact, I had this experience both in Cotonou and Lomé. In both cities, everyone I interacted with were so in awe of my composure, they collected my contacts and made me promise I will call them whenever I visit again. Some of them still keep in touch till now.

We are not the only Country with underperforming leadership and struggling economy, but we are the most desperate and willing to do ANYTHING to 'make it'. A majority of these people who are this desperate don't even have any strategic plans for their ill-gotten wealth (if and when it comes). You see them splurging on SUVs and other nonsensical frivolities to 'pepper them'.

@ PARADIZEPRIEST , you called these evil lot "despirate vultures" (sic)... there is no better word!

Family / Re: My Wife Hates My Daughter From My First Wife by TheGreatIYANU: 8:57pm On Apr 27, 2023
Fineman2:
My name is John. I am 35 years old. I lost my first wife in 2020, so I remarried in 2021 so that my daughter can grow up with a motherly love.

However, my new wife has made it a point of duty to always maltreat my daughter.

Each time, I want to interfere, she tells me to stay out of it. I know I should stand up for my daughter but I am in love with this woman because she came into my life when I needed someone the most.

I reached out to the family of my late wife last month to allow my daughter to stay with them while I send money for her upkeep, but they refused. They said my daughter cannot grow up without a mother and still grow up without the presence of a father in her life.

I have had several conversations with my wife and I have begged her to accommodate my daughter since she is yet to conceive but she told me to get rid of her from the house.

She practically complains about everything my daughter does. I am unhappy about this but at the moment, I am caught in between the woman I love and my beloved daughter.

Please what should I do?

Please sir, in the name of God! Divorce the Jezebel you got now... you think she's mean now? Wait till she bears offspring of her own.

It will be hard but cut her off now while you have little to know entanglements. Once her own kids come, you and your daughter will be done for.

I weep for the innocent girl.

You saw pharmacists in NAFDAC living big and you think they're the hottest sh*t in town! I'm livid.

I stand uncorrected when I say no Pharmacist in the world earns half of what the top IT specialists earn, EXCEPT you own a multi-national pharmaceutical or produced a covid vaccine.

Graceful. Speedy recovery Sir and all the best. Hopefully you will mount your stallion again. I'm thinking of getting a used Bajaj Pulsar, 220cc (I think).

Above all I’m lucky to be alive and very grateful. I basically took a direct impact from a Toyota Camry on Lagos Ibadan Expressway while at a standstill.

Thanks.

The reckless driving on that road and every other express in Nigeria is alarming. I hope you're recovering well Sir?

I wouldn’t recommend biking to anyone in Nigeria especially to an adult that’s starting out.

That N800K will barely cover well made gears.

No more high risk pursuits for me in this country that has deplorable emergency medical response and healthcare.

I can’t really blame my accident on my bike because we were parked when a car came off the road to hit me but the bike actually reduced the impact. My bills are nearing N10M now.

Forget the bike.

Wow! Sorry about this experience Sir. Thank God you are alive to give this advice. Well, I guess the spirits of my Mum and Wife (both still alive) are speaking through you.

I'll definitely have a rethink.

Good day all,

I currently stay on the mainland but have cause to work on the island for the next 3 months. Due to several factors such as Lagos traffic, budget (I don't have budget for a car) and I've always wanted to own one, I've decided to get a Powerbike to facilitate my movement and fulfil my bike dream.

Budget - ₦800,000 (bike & paraphernalia)

Ps, I have don't know how to drive a Powerbike, but I drive Cars, Trucks and Bicycles.

If you know/have a good Powerbike within my budget for sale, kindly holla. I'd appreciate if you simply post your bike here, pics and specs so the elders can ascertain I'm getting good product.
