6.Subsequently, the price that we need crude oil at to have enough money for our needs? It is $139 per barrel. Saudi needs oil at $80 per barrel
7.We don't have the money with oil below $75 per barrel since 2014 tosubsidse fuel...and as a result NIGERIA has been taking loans to help pay for susidising fuel. Our refinereis are in a baad state because price controls prevent the from being profitable enough to run effectively
8.So, as much as i hate to sy this, and as much as i don't like apc OR PDP, Buhari is right. We cllaim he should not be comparing us to Saudi, yet we want to buy oil at prices cheaper at Saudi without the income the Saudis have availablle to subsidise fuell
9.And the TUC and even Buhari are partly to blame. 9 years ago, they joined hands to stop GEJ from partaly remving subsides , and since then we have wasted 5 -6 trillion naira on subsidy paayments. AND BORROWED to help pay for more suubsides.

To think we started at the almost same the Same time as south Korea is deeply depressing. While the Koreans are competing with the best we are in competition with failed nations like Somalia despite all our resources. Nepotism, tribalism, religious intolerance, winner takes all mentality and the born to rule mentality has made sure we remain amongst the worst in terms of development. Next time he tries that grab the cane or whooping device from him. He will get the message that you have come of age. If it continues it will affect you psychologically. Try taking some responsibilities around the house and try not to disobey his commands as you are still under his roof. If you disagree with him don't express it while he is angry but when he cools down express your misgivings to him in a calm manner.
If Nigeria was a sane country we won't be having this discussion. At 26 one should be gainfully employed. Everyone except the thieving politicians is angry and seeking an unfortunate person to transfer their aggression upon. Your dad is probably doing it too.

Build new refineries and repair the old ones, this will minimize the demand for the dollar used to import a finished product that we have its raw materials in abundance. Encourage local production of goods this will minimize the need for imported goods then kill all corrupt government officials. This model is used to great effect in China. They don't spare corrupt officials.
Do these 3 little things and the effects will be felt in no time. But our leaders would rather perish than do them.
