Newspaper is not an issue. You can get it the next day. If you contact them directly is N3,000 ( Leadership Newspaper), Punch, Guardian, may be higher.

Affidavit change of name is easier and cheaper, News paper publication na the issue and i am to capture on the 10th.

Do a court affidavit ( Change of Name) Stating that I Sukurat Tope Busari which to be known and called as Busari Shukurat Temitope. Also do a news paper publication and that would be all - Note I had same issue on my birth certificate and I went through the process and I even did a change of name on my NIN and that settled that.

Please I just discovered that my name arrangement and spelling on my birth certificate is different from what i have on all my docs from primary till date.
Kindly assist clarify if this would not give issue as what i have on all docs from primary sch and on NIN is the same but different from birth cert;

Birth cert has: Sukurat Tope Busari
Other docs including NIN have Busari Shukurat Temitope.

Please assist clarify if it is not an issue or if there is anything i need to do as i am to capture nxt wk in Alausa.

Someone said they used his own application details for his child as they were capturing same day.
hope you people the parents have NIN and/or driver’s licence?
Both parents must hand write letter.. 2 different letters and sign

U mean hand written letter from both parents even when of them probably the mother will be present?

None of us (parent) have an Int passport, infact i am booked for fresh capturing with them. What do u think is the way fwd pls?

Did some applications for kids in 2021, enhanced e passport- fresh passport, nothing like guarantor’s form for them.
Take this information as applicable to Lagos, Abuja, Ogun, Rivers and Enugu.
They asked for consent letter from parents, 2 separate handwritten letters, nin of the child, passport photograph of the child, application form of the child, receipt and acknowledgmnt slip of child, Data page of intl passport of parent and Nin.. used 2 data pages of parents and nin of one parent plus driver’s licence of the second parent.

Can the guarantor form be notarized anywhere too or it must be Lagos as we stay in Ibadan??

Kindly drop any other infos or guide that would assist in making the process seamless for us especially because I am applying with my kids to those who have applied with kids before.

Note that I will be the only parent available with them, pls share your experience with us.

Kindly do this that @pufframmy advised. Be sure that you sent the copying all the addresses, I didn't pay a dime or call anyone.

Check your spam box or refresh your mail as I am very sure ithelpdesk@nimc.gov will respond to your mail but note that your subject must be that which will catch attention to read and make sure your NIN is part of the subject, although ain't sure if they are going to be active during the hols.

Follow this step strictly and you will definitely come back in few days to give your testimony.

If you already have your NIN-Number with you,, but whenever you take the NIN-Number to the Bank, they would always tell you to go back to the NIMC and tell them to Validate your NIN-Number and add it to the NIN-Database on the NIMC Computer.

This is what you would do...
..
Send an email to info@nimc.gov.ng with a copy-to cc.. to customercare@nimc.gov.ng and nimccustomercare@nimc.gov.ng....
..
Put the subject as “VALIDATE MY NIN-NUMBER”.
Then give them your “full name” and the NIN-Number that is to be validated.

I just received my PPR. I feel like crying, I feel like jumping, I feel like screamingggggggg.

First my timeline so the family will not roast me alive.

17 weeks on the dot.

In January I sent a lot of emails and like three webforms. All I got was generic responses. I needed a decision because the last day to pay my 1st term fees or withdraw and be eligible for full refund (excluding deposit of $1000) was on the 28th. My program doesn't do deferral but they said they could assure us of a readmission for fall term, we would only have to pay the application fee of $100 but we won't have to pay a deposit of $1000 again because it would be moved to fall. Like 4 of my course mates (1 Nigerian and 3 Indians) too this offer and withdraw and I was tempted to take this offer too; but my sister (my sponsor) said no, I should have faith (funny thing she is not a believer of faith, and she is very logical and basis her decisions on concrete facts and not hope). I paid my fees on the last day (I sent the fee receipt payment through a webform) and continued with the program online. Everyone was online including domestic students because of the Omicron variant. But they resumed in-person/hybrid 2 weeks ago. And believe me, I thought online classes was bad, but hybrid is way worse. I didn't send any emails or webforms after January and I even applied for a remote job for a US company to keep me distracted (I got the job too, and resumed this week). I later decided to order for my gcms notes on the 4th of March, though I don't think it caused my decision to arrive 2 weeks after. I got my PPR without them even asking me for an updated LOA to ensure I was still enrolled.

Program in Canada: Masters in Digital Media from Ryerson University (I explained I was focusing on Virtual and Augmented Reality in my sop, I will post my sop draft here for anyone who needs inspiration. Please inspiration, do not copy exactly)
3+ year work experience in architecture and construction (was never a full time worker, only during nysc, was always an independent contracted designer, submitted my last contract).
