Bosses, Ever since SH accepted this name in june, I have noticed new business brands have sprung up using my name. Some even went as far as using my logo(on Facebook) yet the name remains unsold. I feel this is wrong or on the other hand should I count this as an advantage cos I am even thinking of increasing the price on SH and do outbound to them.

1. Is it yours or SH Owned

2. If it's yours, you can outbound to those business brand but have it in mind that they MIGHT not be able to buy at that price

If there are enough viable endusers, determine whether you will let go for $400-500 or wait for someone to pick it up >$1000

My advice is based on my perception that the business brands are small bussiness that you recently saw(your post says recently sprung up)

That's a starting point but have a plan to start learning what makes a name brandable! Most of SH names will not pass the brandable test so dont go focusing all your energy on it.

About the 0.99 offer, I don't think I qualify for that even though I've never register a name with them.

I opened the account around 2015 when a friend told me about domaining. I didn't take it serious so i abandon the account. I only reactivated it recently.

There is no harm in trying. The system doesnt checkndate of registration of your account. The system checks whether you have used that promo/ offer for 1st time registration.

So if you have never registered a name, look for the fresh registration code & apply it.

Ebooks have been sent. Please as you have freely received, freely give does not apply in this case. Don't go giving the books out for free because you got it free o. That's 13k worth of books sent to you.

Check your delisted names too

If you are using phone or PC, use the search function.

Names don't disappear.

If you submit a name say on Friday. When the name is rejected sometimes you expect the name to be on your most recent rejected names.

Sometimes it moves to last year rejected names depending on how long you have been with them. That's why I asked u to use the search function.

Names that have been rejected before will move to the end of the queue on whatever list based on that old rejection date.

Check your delisted names too, I have had names move there without any action from me. Sometimes I mistakenly clicked on remove while other times, i guess the 1st person that submitted the name, removed it while on queue and the system automatically did the same for me.

SH still has some weird settings eg if you previously sold a name on SH, you can't relist it on SH.

As for the person that registered those names, if they got it from this thread, I don't fault them. This is an open forum, there are all kinds of folks here including those with no moral or integrity values.

That's life for you. Opportunist will always be around the corner. What I will fault & what I consider terrible is if someone reaches out to you privately for appraisal then you go ahead to register it or discourage them in order to register it for yourself.

70% commission sounds a lot nicer to me than 35%.

My apologies! It's my fault kinda but a learning point for others. Don't reveal unregistered names, if you don't want to loose them.

Reach out to trusted folks to vet your unregistered names privately. I have mentors that I use so noone knows it all.

Some folks have reached out to me privately also to vet names. Unfortunately I don't have the mental bandwidth to appraise names this period.

I asked you to put up some names, I was hoping to do a top of the head appraisal while banking on some other persons to chip in. They have done marvellous job.

You on the other hand are on track, those names they selected are good brandable, BB, BP & Afternic candidates.

If you haven't registered on Godaddy before, I believe you will qualify for $0.99 registration for 1name.

It's about time I register my presence here. Been following this thread for 2 months now. I signed up on SquadHelp on 7th of June and so far, every name I've submitted have been thrown right back at me. Learning process, I guess.
One thing I learned recently is that SquadHelp have their own special taste of what's brandable and what I've learned in other brandable tutorials almost doesn't apply to SquadHelp. Cos I've seen names that's makes no sense - to me - got accepted and those that does make sense get thrown out.
I've read here that @therealMcCain's eBooks deals with SquadHelp specifically and that it's really good but I can't afford them for now. So, I'm just going to find time to study the platform and see if I can develop a sense for what is acceptable and selling on the platform.

Post 10 of the names you think are the best in your rejected list. Let's see whether you are on track or not

When you clicked on the ? Sign what did it reveal?

No of syllable doesnt really have a role in a name selling.

What counts is length, keyword & a host of other things.

Syllable is not on that list, if It is, it will be the last.

I have been quiet of late, lots of physical activities going on with me. Had to put a hold on domaining activities. Hopefully will resume soon.

Scanning through ED has also caused eye strain. Need to take some rest too. We should learn to recognize when our body is telling us to slow down.

I can see that lots of folks have keyed in SH zero financial investment opportunity. I am happy about that. I was inspired by someone & I am happy I have inspired others too.

I don't have issues with adding names to Sedo. Just use their name servers make sure, privacy is off.

Poor, Good, Average & Excellent is just a way of guaging how many of those fields you filled & not necessarily what you filled.

Just ensure your name has been approved & listed especially if its SH that is to do the registration
