Its been pointed out several times, when your approval rate goes up, so does your limit

Even the limit increment, it can still drop back to 3names if your rejection rate starts increasing. They have a way of calculating it.

I have moved from 15limit back to 3limits & when my acceptance rate improved, the limit was raised

Wetin dey do una, I booked those spaces because I don't want the tutorial to be interrupted. Edit it. if you don't have what to write, put a dot.

Broad Searches/Category Search

You can also search without imputing keywords, This will show names that have sold depending on the date range specified. if you do not specify a date, it will display the most recent sales. you can then streamline based on category and subcategory. eg You want to see names sold in Health niche or geo domains sold recently or within a date you will specify

NAMEBIO
This is a database of sold names. it excludes names sold on Dan, Epik, Squadhelp, Brandbucket and some other marketplaces.

This is a way of getting sales pattern for a particular keyword, to know how popular a keyword is, how well sought out it is and a guide in pricing your domain.

The most important search function for you will be(as highlighted by red box)

1. Keyword
This is where you input the keyword you want to search for. This field can only take one keyword at a time

2. Placement
This is keyword placement. "At the start" and "At the end" will do just fine.

3. Exclude
Numeric domains is type of domain name and this requires knowledge of numerology and study of certain cultures. You have to know what you are doing to be able to mix numbers and letters to get a valuable domain name. most mixtures of numbers with letters makes it less valuable.

Hyphens are not encouraged except your target market is for Germany. They love hyphens

Based on these factors, I normally exclude my search from having hyphens and numbers


4. Date Range
This a way of streamlining your search results to a particular year or day. You want to see how many names having a particular keyword sold on a specific period

WIth this kind of roofing, how will the electrical wiring be done?

You can list on squadhelp, afternic and other marketplace , your buyer might come to u.

McCain has 159 premium names on SH but no sales. What if I make fun of him today and within a month he sells 5 of his names I'll now look stupid.

Ideaspro is making money online in other things. I've only been regular on this thread now for less than 4months so I don't know his sales history.

At the bolded, SH does not constitute my entire Domain portfolio. That I haven't made sales on SH does not mean I am not selling elsewhere. I have explained this several times here. There are people with guest accounts making a killing in domaining but you will never get to see their post, likewise registered members.

Its not everybody that is comfortable revealing how much he/she makes to the whole wide world and you never can tell if there was an NDA.The most important thing in this business is to have patience, keep reading and doing the right thing. It will payoff on the long run.

There some folks making sales now but with weak foundation, they will burn out in the near future while those that took time to build the right foundation will weather the storm.

There is this two worded domain i saw in Ed..it has stayed 32 days and counting no body want register it....so i checked it out on domain tools the following is what i found out

IP address: 39 changes on 39 unique IP addresses over 12 years
Registrar history: 7 registrars with 8 drops
Hosting history: 29 changes on 16 unique nameservers over 14 year...
pls gurus is this domain worth registering or should i move ahead...pls i need reply asap

So yesterday, i decided to try Expireddomains again for long time but although I've decided that anytime I'm going there for brandables is to carry money follow body.

No money yesterday and i submitted Two names as unregistered as usual. I didn't sleep well because i know that probability of losing those names is 90/10.

Lesson : Carry money dey go Expireddomains, the competition is much nowadays coupled with the lockdown that introduced more people to Domaining.

The competition has always been there & you are correct about tge surge of domainers entering into the market as a result of the lockdown.

For those coining names, you are not the only one doing so, there are others also thinking along the same lines with you.

So if accepted, accept terms or register the name.

The choice is yours. Bulk of my sunmissions are unregistered & that is handled by SH internal team.

Most domainer on other forums are complaining about the expert review system.

A large chunk of it will be less valuable if not worthless. Most good combination have bee taken, there are still some Gems.

If you go through pending delete names, The good names are usually backordered, which most times will lead to an auction.

Its few that slips through the crack. Yes most hand reg will be less valuable comapred to names on auction/closeout.

That doesnt mean all auction names are super

75 names have a GREATER probability of selling some, than the other 2.

Since we are talking in terms of numbers/figures, PERSONALLY I will use that money to buy 75 names than buy just 2 names.

It is surprising you suddenly changed your policy based on just one "missed" sale. I hope it's not spurred by a dry spell. Dry spells do happen even to the best domainers.

Anyway, to each his own.

The policy is not a sudden one, its not just because of names I have lost. I previously benchmarked it at 200names, now I am at 148 SH owned.

Will most likely stop at 150. Its part of the tweaking I talked about.

As to the 75names, it depends on the quality of the names. A $300 name can easily be sold for $600(quick flip) or more but a $8 name might not be easy to offload for $100

It all depends on Your strategy & what you want.

There are times i have a financial need, I look at how many BB names I can Offload to achieve that target. I stopped doing this when reported sales on the slack channel was on the increase one time(names that were sold off to domainers & got sold within a short frame)

I am currently doing some experiment now, will see how it pans out
