You have a long way to go. if you submit a registered that does not meet their criteria, it will be rejected. the unregistered names you have been submitting, which option have you been choosing? SH to register or dual option of you or SH registering it?

there is no card activity at all, people who did not order a card are the ones who might still be able withdraw while people who "ordered a card" have their accounts frozen.

I have said it several times that i dont do appraisal but i find myself going back on those words.

Domaining has checklist and you try as much as possible to get everything ticked but there are times the enduser doesnt care or know about the checklist. Those circumstances are less than when compared with endusers who follow the checklist.

So there will always be bad names that will sell.

I can see some persons here do not value appraisals given here and they feel its show off when names are written off.

This is one of the reason why i said No appraisal, because should the name sell, you are seen as a bad person especially if the person did not register the name as a result of your appraisal.

Then there is issue of the work involved, where you have to search and make some findings.

Hence forth, Every Aboki to his kettle. There is an appraisal section on Namepros, where names are freely appraised.

Some person want appraisal and at the same time, they want to choose the language with which the appraisal will be done.

The rational behind the name is based on the idea that perhaps a coy might be looking into creating an insurance plan that allows multiple/combine funding thereby reducing the financial load on clients and allowing more pple get insurance plan

On Point 1 & 2 I get you but your stance is as a result of what you think a brandable name is. As softmojo pointed out, the name is limiting to the insurance niche not even finance. it does not have a broad usage. You need more info on what a brandable name is.

It doesnt mean the name cannot sell but it is not a brandable name and as such, the possibility of a brandable marketplaces accepting it is very low. eg That it is 2 english keyword does not make it brandable.


On Point 3 You are correct about SH article on being unique. but the fact that the keyword is non existent on SH, BB and BP. That should tell you that something is off. Then Namebio does not have any records of the keyword in any position in a word ever selling should also tell you something.

At the bolded, good intentions about your rationale but it limits the usage. what comes to my mind when i see the name is a scheme by the company where you make part payment of the insurance, then another person or persons/company makes the other part. what if the said company offers other kinds of services or insurance plan that is not a joint thing? They wouldnt want such limiting name. Softmojo has also mentioned this.

Thats why its good you go through contest brief to see the mind of enduser, you see them specify some of these things

Lastly on Movyr. You dont merge two words together and remove letters from both words. I have never seen it done. When you have to explain, then its a bad name. dont forget a good misspelling fails the radio test, why complicate it further by mispelling both words

If you are open mind, you can see how SH would never have accepted these names, there is a possibility that your other names will fail brandable test, not all but some. My books will be of help to you, if you need them.

If insurejointly is registered, list it on Afternic,Dan and Epik.

A Mere look at a mispelling should reveal the what the correct spelling is, thats one of the characteristics of a good mispelling. eg Flickr(mispelling) Flicker(correct spelling)

If you are venturing into brandables, you can check my signature.

Doing either of the two options does not take away the fact that you have to read.

NOTE
The reason we advocate reading from Page 1 is that all manner of questions have been asked and answered with experiences of different individual shared over time. you cant get such knowledge from elsewhere. Even if you decide to scavenge the internet, the info will be scatter everywhere bits and pieces.

Reading this thread will help you learn from others mistake and teach you on how to formulate your own style of domaining.

Take the reading as a marathon, take your notes, set target of say 10-15pages a day or whatever you are comfortable with. If its too cumbersome, skip page 1 and start reading from January 1st 2020 post(look for the page) and start from there.

If for any reason I miss some pages, I always go back to read them. I learn alot from this thread, thats why inspite of the provocation, I havent left, though i have been pushed to ghost mode(read but make no comment)

Start with compound names. Eg. CornMeal, OakPay, MellowTiger. I noticed they're accepting more of these names (unregistered) compared to blends (Zobelle, Hobelle, Payeer et al).

Keep trying bro. I got over 20 rejections before the first accepted name. Yours will come.

Basic plus listing isnt exclusive. so you can do that, forget about logo design(or pay if you wish)

Please someone should teach me how to appraise names without knowing the name. I really love to know. no one has monopoly of knowledge. The confidence with which some persons fix prices to names without knowing the name baffles me.

@liftkid There are many variables, apart from checking the .com, what other companies are using similar names or which names will the name likely be an upgrade for. search crunchbase and angelist and see what comes up.

when you type the name into crunchbase, dont hit the enter button, give it sometime it will display the result.
