Good morning great domainers... please I received a mail now from squadhelp that one of my domain was pre-approved. But when I click on the approval button it was bringing up something else.

whenever this happens, Check to see if the name is still available for registration, If it is available, Chat SH up and let them know of the error message and tell them that WHOIS shows it is still available for registration.

Also let them know you will appreciate if it is expedited, that you dont want to loose the name to someone else.

This always works for me.

Another thing, if you want to do followup, dont start another conversation, continue on the same Chat


BUT if the name has been registered by someone else, CASE CLOSED


Some persons registered the name themselves and got SH to list it. OThers did and SH did not accept to list it

I had the same issue with Epik some weeks ago. Tony said the reason for this is because 'our Nigerian Folks' tell the end user that the domain can be transferred knowing fully well the domain is still under 60 days lock.
In some cases, the end user requests for a refund after Epik must have paid the seller.

I hope our brothers and sisters are not about to ruin our rep on Epik??

Now we will all suffer the consequences collectively.

Just Read about a tragedy, a wife and 2 kids died in a fire incident, it was alleged they were trapped in the building. Burglary proof prevented their escape.

What's the way around this to achieve this "security" and same time not impede emergency exit should the need arise?

Having a main entrance and back/side entry into a house sufficient or there are better ways to achieve this?

The exception is when you have exhausted the Number of unregistered name you are currently limited to, after that subsequent submission will require coins. I stand to be corrected though, its been long I used the option of Registering a name myself. its always SH to register

Yes you can use coin for unregged names but it has to be through bulk submission, I dont know the minimum number required.

Names accepted will be registered by you. I havent seen the option of SH registering the name.

Report your Sale after the money hits your account.

That's when you have sold.

Alot can happen in between.

There is someone who reported a sale on the other thread, the name is still showing as "an agreement has been reached, a sale is pending"

What you have there in the venue is what is obtainable. Those marketplaces dont share their sales data

As someone rightly pointed out, you are missing out the smaller details and the bigger picture at the same time. you are focused on the small number of names you have that are SH registered.

Look at the total names that are SH registered, how many will they need to sell to break even and make profit? Remember all the names they register will not get sold. So higher commissions will ensure they are always in profit.

There is nothing slavish about it, its not forced, if you want higher commissions, you register the names yourself. Most folks on Namepros, dont subscribe to it, they tell you to register your names if you believe in them and wait for it to sell, we subscribe to it over here, due to financial reasons.

Finally, you guys should follow this guy on twitter, he has some cool tips on pricing, keyword and outbounding strategies

Depends on the price, BB generally price higher than SH.

For now, you might stick with SH due to Afternic Collabo(Higher Exposure) but there has been talks of Afternic integration with BB. Margot is yet to confirm this.

BB has SEDO integration too.

At the end, the choice is yours but there are no repercussions.

No, SH likes you because they want to make money from your creativity. But the have criteria for approval names which is proprietary to them. It's like "marking scheme" of a teacher or lecturer. You don't know what it is until your name is approved.

Imagine someone submitted unregistered name and it was rejected. With confidence in the name, the same person went ahead to register it by himself and resubmitted to SH and it was approved and listed within 2 days. The question now is, "On what ground was it rejected the first time?"

Depend on the option that was used in submitting the unregistered name.

You have a higher chances of acceptance if you choose to register the name or you take the dual option of them or you registering it.

There are certain names that might be a fit for their marketplace but they are not willing to stake their funds, so you stake your funds and list it.

There are other unknown parameters they use too which seems not to follow a parttern
