Travel › Re: Canada Denies Two Nigerian Kids Entry Visas by TheSeeker(m): 4:20pm On Jul 25, 2009
I wouldn't blame the Canadian embassy for such actions, but when there're enough proofs to negate their premonition on Nigerians, they should have allowed them entry. This is a worldwide competition and they are students too, so what the heck is the problem? This is not right and Nigerian government are busy sitting down, watching and wasting away. Yeah right, Nigerians abused the system but are all Nigerians that way? This is nonsense at the highest order.
Politics › Re: Reps Kill Motion To Immortalise M. K. O. Abiola by TheSeeker(m): 3:58pm On Jul 25, 2009
Immortalize him for what? What's his achievement in this country? What has he done so far? What kind of man was he before he became a philanthropist? Why must everything be blown out of proportion in Nigeria? Oh that he was the first "elected" democratic president and denied the position he should be immortalized? Rubbish! Look at people who have been immortalized in other countries and balance it up with their achievements. MKO has no achievement whatsoever in this country and there's nothing we can do about that.

If he was elected president, who knows, we'd have had sharia law in every part of Nigeria. What's up with the ship-full of Holy Bible thrown into the sea? If anyone is to me immortalized, I'll go for Wole Soyinka(when he dies), in fact, OBJ merits it more than MKO(only if it becomes mandatory for immortalization to be zoned to fools)
Politics › Re: Hilary Clinton Visiting Nigeria And Kenya In August. by TheSeeker(m): 3:40pm On Jul 25, 2009
Can someone tell me what Hilary is coming to do in Nigeria? If she should come here, then Obama is a disappointment after all. How can the United States associate with a country like Nigeria? I still do not believe this.
Politics › Re: SS Governors Threaten To Pull Out Of Amnesty Deal by TheSeeker(m): 3:26pm On Jul 25, 2009
Sorry to say and I don't mean to be tribal, but, Hausa people have been always known to be selfish cows. How could the retarded Minister think the best place for the University is Kaduna? Where was his brain when he was saying that? I'm not from Niger Delta but the constant marginalizing treatment always mete out to the Niger Deltans is despicable. So what do we start saying when these MEND boys starts to bomb everywhere now? That they are criminals? Nigeria is a sick country. A disgrace to Africa and will always head for doom as long as an Hausa man rules her. Stupid set of people.
Romance › Re: Your Man Or Woman In Bed With Another Person by TheSeeker(m): 1:03pm On Jul 25, 2009
@Topic. Depends on the bed where I meet them but on here, I will admit it's the bed in my house. I won't do anything. I will walk away to the living room. Watch me some nice music television and wait until they come out. I will say hello to the guy when they come out and offer him a handshake if he's bold enough to take it. I can't blame him -- my woman sold herself cheap. But when he's gone, I'll ensure she leaves the house immediately. Or if I want to punish her and leave her later on, I'll let her stay and pretend I accepted her apologies.

sweetcoint:
well, have always promise myself not to trust any man even my husband cos no one is perfect

If i Catch my Husband In Bed with a lady

1) i will walk out
2) after everything i will serve him a very nice dish
3) calling him sweet names i will never think of the drama that happen
4) i will also praye for him to change
5) but never make love to him for my health sake until if been tested for HIV and any STD disease
i will continue doing this until he release his mistakes and Apologize and also deviate from it
That sure, right there, is a good approach. The question is, how many women more are left who can do that? I haven't seen any.

YankeeZulu, in case you never knew, I don't seek attention here. I didn't call to seek your attention. I was talking to Whitelexi. And from what you've just done, it'd have been better off for you to keep shut rather than talk and at the same time claim to "ignore" me. That I was talking to Whitelexi about how I feel shouldn't have provoked you to show off your incoherent sense of reasoning --- towards my posts --- actually. I'm sticking to the topic as well as saying what I want to people I want to say it to; You're wading into matters that have is no way your concern. So, leave me out of your words bantering and there'll be peace for us both, Okay?

FL Gators:
Ok, gotz you.

But I also asked if you know anything about the culture, geography, language, people etc

Thanks, you're such a great help
Part of Ekiti's culture is education. It tells a lot with the number of professors found in each compound. Ekiti people are somewhat aren't quite represented in the entertainment industry or sports, but they are very diplomatic in nature. Like I said the other day, there are some parts of Ekiti that speaks "Ijesha" and another that speaks "Igbomina" both from Osun State. They do have some other dialects but those are the two major I guess.

Another thing is they are always faithful in their relationships and marriage. Always direct to the point and factual. They are honest to a fault. I can't say how well they do in business as well.

Hmm interesting. Those are biased opinions, but am not complaining grin

As for revenge, negative.

That's it? Nothing about the culture, geography, etc?
What's bias about my comment? I'm just saying what I've been able to associate with the Ekitis I know so far -- in person
Culture › Re: Osun -- State Of The Living Spring! Identify Here by TheSeeker(op): 3:43am On Jul 25, 2009
Ekitis are accommodating, nice and friendly. But you have to hand them the "secretive awards". They are the astrologic scorpio when it comes to being secretive. They believe in revenge but they are very nice. Almost half of Ekiti are Londoners.

I want str8 facts without biased opinions
Sweetie, I'm not biased unless I'm pulling legs. I'm always very direct. Ask me whatever it is, I will tell you the best I know.

Is this discussion still going on Whitelexi? I thought it was over! I think this should be locked. It seems this Yankeezulu girl has a crush on you, wanna try her out? I have had an experience that when a woman spews so much hate towards a man, she sure has some kind of feelings for him --- positive or negative.

Where is she? I don't think she's ever logging on to NL with that ID. Watch out for IDs with 2 to 18 posts registered between today and Monday.

Throw the relationship in the wind and kiss. Rubbish! By the way have you checked what Michelin had to say about you? Go and defend yourself there
Nairaland General › Re: Winnergal Busted! by TheSeeker(m): 11:04pm On Jul 24, 2009
I find it absolutely disturbing for someone to have made threads look serious, having all of us posting only to find out the stories aren't really worth all the effort of replying them. This is so sick. Although I didn't get to catch all of the threads mentioned by Michelin, but was she serious in those threads? I sure think so. Though this is WWW where people can live whatever dream they want, it's absolutely debasing for anyone to make up stories while there are many who actually need advice.

Are you banning her now or what?
