Do I even have to begin with you? If I do, you can't stand it because I see you running your mouth uncontrollably like a cat that's got light on his ears. You're a kind of sense-broke-ass-licking-boot-shining-cock-sucking bastard who gets shot in the stomach and pisses out his ears. Now you can talk? Can't you settle for a minute to see you've not been making sense? Can you get off the cheap drugs and smoke, at least, something a bit expensive?

Do you have to try so hard - as if it were a congratulatory assignment - to portray your foolishness? When will you start to make use of your head (if you have any)? Since when have you been this foolish, before you were born? Was that why you jumped off into the world before your actual and normal 9 months duration in the womb? I'm so sorry for you, you know why, because you're a waste to humanity; a disgrace to your generation; a disappointment to where you belong, where you came from and those who own you; a fulcrum for other foolish folks to hinge their stupidity on.

If you think I've started with you yet, you're wrong because if I do you'll run out of those borrowed words you have stuffed in your stinking cavity. Bushmeat! angry

Baby when I told you, you're the only one I like, I meant to say I really wanna f.uck tonight,
Baby when I told you, you're the only sunshine of my life, I meant to say, shawtie I ain't your trick, b.itch please I ain't buying your shit.

When I say I like you for everything you are,
I meant to say I like the way your titties set up in your bra,
Everything I said in your ear by the bar,
Was just to get you in the backseat of my car,
You're an inspiring actress, girl you could go far,
If you know who I know baby you would be a star,
But when I said you had sexy lips, I meant to say I bet you suck a good d.ick .

@Kanye West: What more can I say? You've shown what class of human you belong to, and just like whose name you've chosen to adopt on NL, you've once again proven yourself right for making such choice of name. Someone started a thread and for no reason out the blue you decide to hate on her; why can't you just shut the f.uck up? I tire for these sharp-tongued pigs angry angry

Why should you even think of dating a married woman. Incase you don't know the meaning of marriage, Marriage is a union ordained by God; so if you have an affair with a married woman, you have God to answer to.

There are countless of single girls out there; pick one of them and settle down with her; don't bring a course upon yourself by having an affair with a married woman.

Stop watching too much pornography especially the ones where married women are being boned. Also, if you've ever had a gun pointed at you or a cutlass aimed at your neck, you'll have stopped falling in 'love' with married women a long time ago.
RomanceRe: What Makes Your Relationship A Success? by TheSeeker(m): 6:32pm On Sep 27, 2009
blandyne:
If i understand you clearly, u mean without commitment a relationship can't work or succeed. What is commitment to u? The reason i'm asking it's because nowadays people have different definitions for commitment. Some says commitment it's when the man actually propose to u and make everybody know that you're the one he wants to marry. Other sees commitment as when a man agree to date you and only you even though he did not propose yet.

Nevertheless i'm so glad to read your post. Most men dont understand it, when a woman say the word commitment to them they perceive her as being possessive, desperate, wanting to drag them down the aisle no matter what.
Commitment is having a goal set and a considerable willpower to push it through to attaining that goal. If the goal of the relationship is to have sex and break up later, your will to make it happen is commitment. If you're planning to take it to the aisle, your determination to make it happen is commitment. Everything you do has to revolve around bringing to reality whatever dream you have forecast for the relationship.
RomanceRe: Dating Ur Friend's Ex: , by TheSeeker(m): 6:25pm On Sep 27, 2009
Whether or not they break up in good terms is not a barrier. I can date his ex-girlfriend, but the question is how long have they been apart from each other? It ain't like I'm going to start dating her 3 weeks after their breakup as if I've been waiting for it to happen.

I don't owe anyone any explanation for dating her, and if my friend wants to throw a fit about it then he should be ready to tell me why he let her go; he should as well be ready to tell me what difference I make from other men that would have dated her; he will also tell me why she has suddenly become a cynosure to him.

I say Ngige. There was something with the quality of roads I saw in Anambra. I went for a burial in anambra and my friend was very boastful. My guy what I saw was impressive. I am talking about rural roads !
That's why he's called the 'roadmaster' or whatever it is that they call him. I think he's made the best impact so far of all the governors Anambra state has ever had; he's a great threat for anyone to face, I believe.

I understand everyone points, and they all make sense. But, where talking about grown folks not teenagers, It's very hard for me to say" I love u" to a man because i hate being vulnerable. Yet It feels sooooooo good when you realize that u do love someone. The sad part is he might not feel the same way and here comes rejection.

Even though his actions will show you if he does love you or not, just like you said NEVER MAKE ANY ASSUMPTIONS.Therefore i believe that you will never know for sure unless that person says the words and acts accordingly.
Now let just say one of the partners declares his/her love to the other, and him/her didn't say it back. What should that person do, stay in the relationship or move on ?
So which would you prefer: That he says it and doesn't act accordingly or acts in a way that shows it and keeps mum? My advice to you is, if you think he's shown it beyond doubt that he loves you, you had better not push this 'I love you' talk too far

I still don't get your story; why did it have to take you three years before knowing that he doesn't have time for you?

Also, I believe that you should know by now if he's seeing someone else or his excuses are genuine.

finally, if this your story is true, then I would suggest that you have a heart to heart discussion with him; and be sure that you pour out your heart and tell him how you feel about his attitude. One doesn't just throw away a three year old relationship as tho it were some crap; there should always be a room for a change.
Please ask her again. Why did it take her 3 years before she starts complaining? I don't condone the guy's attitude (given that what she's saying is true) but something tells me she's found someone else who's giving her all the other guy is lacking, and she's seriously considering to switch off the relationship and hop on the new guy's wagon. But to do that effectively and without trace, she needs people to give her hints and points that she can use to boot the guy's a$$.

unfaded:
Re u listenin to urself?those that do dmovies re the mockers! I also mèant nw family, not those of ow fathers,ow many of yoruba comtemporaries av 2wives?
You call business strategy mocking? I leave that to you to judge. And, let me tell you, these movies actually depicts a situaton where a particular family doesn't like their son from another tribe. Hatred is always at the fore, even while their son still lived, and when he dies, they might put it all on the woman and say she's the cause of his death. It has never been - at least in the movies I've watched - that they used it as a background that it's Igbo's culture.

But Yoruba tribe, as they have always been, always tune a situation out of proportion -- they have taken these very few movie instances to be true. You can check out where a yoruba will tell her daughter not to marry an Igbo man because they eat people in their village. . . ask her, has she ever been there or witnessed any?

There are lots of contemporary yoruba men who are polygamous unless having secret babies outside wedlock doesn't amount to polygamy anymore in the typical 'Nigerian' sense.
RomanceRe: Saying " I Love You" by TheSeeker(m): 5:37pm On Sep 27, 2009
I think it depends on the kind of man. Maybe the guy thinks they've got really close hence, there's no point emphasizing it in words. Talk is cheap; and actions speak louder than words. Would you have preferred if he said it to you and didn't mean it?

There are some men who are so conservative that they don't believe in saying such things as making any impact, but for some, it might be the in-thing. What can you decipher from his actions?
RomanceRe: He's Too Busy To Ve My Time. What Can I Do? by TheSeeker(m): 5:10pm On Sep 27, 2009
You got into a relationship with him knowing he doesn't have your time, and that he was never romantic and whatnot; and girl for how many years, 3 years? And you're complaining? Something tells me you're the one who's met another man and are looking for a way to end the relationship. However, I think it's easy -- just break it to him and I'm sure he'll understand.

On another flip, have you tried talking to him about these problems? If you did, what were his response? Was any action taken? But this doesn't change my earlier view unless you prove me wrong.

@the seeker, but most nollywood films are made by igbo boys.also howmany yoruba guys in ow generation is poligamist?
Yes and why do you think most people are buying these movies? That's one of the marketing strategies. I can tell you a considerable number of people buy these movies to make mockery of Igbo traditions, and as long as the bucks are being rolled in no one seems to care.

About your second question, I have sizable instances to back up my view. Show me three out of every ten Yoruba family where you won't find polygamy and I will give you my sweet Mercedes Benz. wink
RomanceRe: What Makes Your Relationship A Success? by TheSeeker(m): 4:48pm On Sep 27, 2009
It doesn't really take a lot to make a relationship work but I think the main thing is commitment. You need to have that before your relationship can move any close to working. Commitment will make you go the extra mile to put in your best in a relationship.

When you have commitment, you go for communication. You obviously can't communicate if you're not committed because you could care less.  After this comes honesty. I want to believe that when you communicate, you do so in all honesty or it won't be a hearty discussion.

Another is patience. Dealing with a partner -- young or old, mature or immature -- is like having to do with someone you have never met just as it was back in your elementary school days. It takes a lot of them for some people to adjust to who they are dating and it could be pretty short for some. You have to know also that the comfort-level of each person varies, and the rate at which others integrate perfectly into their new dates depends on a lot of factors. Don't get mad when you have to repeatedly spell out your do's and don'ts to your partner, and don't lose your patience when your girlfriend wants you to pet her all the time, both when necessary and unnecessary.

Commitment, communication, honesty, patience, then comes another, sacrifice.

Sacrifice can mean different things to different people in different and diverse situations. The most important thing is, in every relationship make good use of your head and do what's right. Your heart at some point may not convey a correspondingly valid message with your heart. Right at this juncture, you'll need to use your brain to fathom what's right. You can't possibly ask your girlfriend or fiancee to drop her dreams of wanting to be a nurse because you think she may not have time in the future for the family (you and your kids), and it'll be foolish for her to walk out on her path to a rosy career because of what 'harm' you think it might do to the future you both are planning.
