Seriously I have issues with guys who never want to do anything for their GFs. So what if she can afford a phone for herself, does that justify him being stingy. I mean what's in a phone? I dont think she was asking for an I.phone. I'm shure she would have managed a Noke 1320

I think the girl did that because she realized the guy was being innecessarily difficult.

I think it should be an obligation. Of course I dont expect him to leave a serious engagement to follow me to my friend's B/day party, I wont do that for him either, but if he's free, he's obliged to go with me . . . . he shouldnt complain when I go with someone else.

Nothing is being imposed on anybody, but if you want to make your partnet happy, you should be able to go out of your way once in a while!! Even though most guys are jerks, some of them still deserve the best!
