pu7pl3:Maybe poorly now has another meaning. Highest goalscorer in La liga performed poorly? Guy, your brand of weed is premium. And to think I mistook your brevity in comments for intelligence. |
pu7pl3:You do realise that that picture of the stats between Benzema and Messi is fake right? In 2021 Messi has only scored 4 penalties - vs PSG, Cadiz, Chile and Bolivia. So how come you Pendulums are saying he has 28 non penalty goals when it should be 34 compared to Benzema's 30? And why use one criteria in Benzema comparison and another set of criteria for CR comparison? All just against one person. I've seen this trend among CR fans. They photoshop false stats, quotes or pictures all about and use it to bash Messi. One earlier today showed stat claiming Messi scored one goal less than CR in 2021 just to bash him. All these point to one thing, you guys are suffering from inferiority complex which can only mean one thing: you know that Messi is greater. |
JohnnyPalmer:Without goals I agree Ronaldo is useless. But the thing is, he will still get the goals (cos dem Watfords & Burnleys are around for him lol) so he'd likely still rack up a decent number of goals this season but they won't help Man Utd much. In Messi's case, he will still pick up in France and by that time the difference will be clearer. For now we will keep enjoying him in PSG's UCL games and at Argentina. |
Labadi69:I agree with you except for that last part. I might not like CR but he and Messi are far from finished even though they've dropped a gear lower. Still, their 'finished' version is still better than several other good players in their prime. Also, you dont write them off early as they have the experience and capacity to come back and dominate. |
Silentgroper:Pull Ronaldo for where? The one wey hin pull him against Everton all Manutd peeps including Fergie were lambasting him. Make him pull Ronaldo off, and they lose, him fans will be saying if Ronaldo were there, he'd pop up with a last minute goal. E good as Ole leave am jare. |
Ermm, isnt this the same Leicester that Man Utd at least got a draw against last season at this same ground? With a certain old fraud they con dey chop 4-2. Is that progression or regression? Abeg make Michael Owen come explain to us how CR has made Manutd better biko ![]() |
Evra, is it by how sick you are? Okay then take Messitamol and you'll be fine enough in time to watch your nightmare lift his 7th Ballon D'or. Just imagine the bullsheet, because you are sick, so someone that deserves it shouldn't win. Is it Messi's fault that he demonstrates he's the best all the time? |
eazzzy1:I don't even think he's ever worked in finance sector before else he'd know that he's seriously casting himself in public. The dimwit doesnt even know that accounting is a subset of finance. Saying accounting is broader than finance ![]() |
This is why I tell all those Pendu fans that quality of goals and assists matter. It's Firmino that scored a hattrick, but everyone is talking about Salah's wonder goal and assist. This is for those who say penalty and solo goal are equal in importance. I consider such peeps as dimwits who know nothing about football. |
This Danny Rose na statue. How e go take mark Salah? |
ikenna44:Guy go and sleep. This is like going back and forth with a kindergarten pupil. In fact ICAN is better than CFA since it's also more well-rounded in the field of accounting. |
Babysho:For the past two months you are right. However, only Messi's past 3 years is greater than Salah's entire career. |
ikenna44:I've worked several years in a big four firm. If you are knowledgeable you'd know what that entails. |
ikenna44:You are unbelievably ignorant. Na your type go talk say Waec is more valuable than Jamb. I am an ACCA & ICAN holder, and I know very well about CFA cos I have a number of colleagues taking it. It is indisputable that CFA is more valuable than ACCA. With CFA, you have better leverage to increase your earnings exponentially than ACCA which a lot of people already have. ACCA is the base in finance. CFA is for the creme de la creme. I'm done arguing with you over this topic cos it's like you are not exposed in the corporate finance world and is only talking from a theoretical point of view. |
Lol Commentator talk say "No shame in being Salahed at the moment" |
Doesnt Salah just love to score solo beauties against Watford. This is the 3rd or 4th time he's scoring this kind of goal against them. Salah loves Watford Suarez loves Norwich |
ikenna44:You are not really comparing CFA to ACCA are you? This cannot be real. CFA has less than 30% average pass rate globally. ACCA typically gets up to 60% pass rate. Tells you which is more difficult. You see someone with CFA and another with ACCA. Pray tell who do you think will be more highly sought after in the field of finance. Pls research before you answer me cos it's a no brainer. |
Who remembers Ranieri the tinkerman? I want to check something ![]() |
Carot:Chartered Financial Analyst. |
CFA is definitely worth it, and will boost your CV tremendously as it's arguably the most valuable professional certification in the finance sector. However, the exam is hard and costs quite a dime. So your real headache should be more of how you'd pass each level with minimal resits. Another plus is that it's recognized globally, especially if you have intentions of migrating to Canada & co. CFA's value is like X3 of ACCA. |
bantamx:Says you a mere CR fan. Since when did the emboldened part become a Ballon d'or yardstick? Two months after joining PSG, how come Messi remains the favorite to win the award based on almost all sport tabloids and the bookies? Or do you think they are blind to his PSG stats? When Cannavaro won in 2006 after joining real madrid and putting in poor performances, did it affect his B'dor win? Jorginho's performance since this season started has almost been poor, has it affected his chances? No, as he is still within the first 3 nominees expected to make the podium. Modric's win was already sealed after he won golden ball at the World Cup by August, despite that his performances when the new season started were average. You lots are just emotionally driven and are ignorant of Ballon D'or history. |
bantamx:Why dont you respond to my answer and question to you instead of running away to find another person to bully. Or should I take it that you aren't smart enough to engage? |
bantamx:What is the relevance of this to the matter? The topic of the thread is about goals scored in the entire 2021, so why should I or even you cherrypick on only a couple of months that is in your fave's favour? Messi is currently the odds on favourite to win the 2021 Ballon d'or. Did you think that was based on September to October 2021? I'm trying to understand the rationale for your request. Why not ask me to bring stats from January to August ![]()

Chai, I came to this thread late. The Pendu fans have started doing what they know how to do best: Peddling fake news. The fact is that Messi has scored the same 38 goals as CR this year, but pendumbos had to deduct one from Messi's tally so they can bash him. The truth is that Messi has been head and shoulders above CR this year. Despite not having Andorra, Luxembourg and Lithuania as opponents, Messi matches CR for goals while he goes ahead to match other top playmakers in assists as well all done in fewer games than CR. Only Messi dey compete in top goals and top assists category and some illiterate fans are saying the one who can only score tapins and penalties is better than the GOAT who can not only do that but also score golazos and support others to score massively. Na jealousy dey affect CR fans. See correct stats below:
|
In any year, winner of Ballon D'or is usually settled by whatever happens in the UCL, international tournament and prior season's league. Very rarely would performances in the newly started season affect who wins the Ballon D'or which is why Salah and Benzema still have no chance, and why Jorginho still also has a good chance. |
Numerouno94:Work's good thanks. How ur workside too? |
Numerouno94:Mr Carpenter, I hail o. You absolutely nailed it ![]() |
Reminds me of the movie Chappie, the South African robot that had human consciousness. |
You this Kenzysmith, whose side are you on actually? Today, it looks like you are against Cristiano, tomorrow, you are lambasting Messi severely. You have a kind of complex I'm yet to place a finger on, or you just like to bang the heads of both players' fans together. |
OJEEMAH:Nice one. Another proof that na reasonable peeps dey for GOAT Messi's corner. Meanwhile, some peeps call the GOAT Eibarman and the wannabe ruminant Tapnaldo. |
You forgot the funniest: PENDU .... You know who ![]() |
