DissTroy:You are our resident Sherlock Holmes bro and I troway salute. Your investigative journalism has sent Virus' alternate moniker packing from NL. So it's really true. But can he delete his number and Abiodun Alasa name from his other online profiles? There's definitely online trail that he can be nailed with. |
MangekyoAlt:You are spot on. What I noted was that PSG team as a whole are not as comfortable with the ball (like a liverpool, City, Madrid etc.) as I initially thought them to be, and this is evident when you see the difference in how comfortable Messi is when he receives the ball and distributes it compared to the other players. Another thing is that their defenders take too long in trying to switch from the back to the front and often losing possession in the process. So Messi had to spend way too much time linking up with Gana and Veratti in PSG's half instead of receiving the ball in the offensive areas where he can be truly dangerous. The second goal came on the very few occasions Messi was able to connect offensively. Pochettino is under-exploiting Messi with the way PSG is set up. And I think this should be obvious to him. |
GOAT. Ermm, Pendulums screaming Mbappe is our mentee upandan, what sayest thou about awa mentee's admission that Messi is the best? |
ObaKlaz:And strikes terror into the hearts of the Armenians, the Cypriots, and the hapless Galatian from his gigantic 6-yard domain ![]() |
spartan117: Make we loud am make everywhere burst abeg. |
MALIGNANTGuest:Lol, you know that even in Lord Pendu's 12-yard domain, he only has quantity. Na Messi get the quality pass. |
Numerouno94:In serious potopoto bro. When you consider that they have always been using Mbappe to validate Ronaldo and spite Messi. That in itself smacks of inferiority complex. Stand gidigba on your own to claim the best, no con dey do attache Goat by proxy. |
princewarri1985:Lol, I get. CR is YOUR greatest. Case closed. No point going back and forth. |
This kid wants to offer his mum to Messi, another one was begging Messi to forgive his mum for naming him Cristiano. These kids get plenty sense pass some adults wey I know . |
princewarri1985:No he's not a bitch and there's nothing to retract. The difference is that he's seen Messi's magic play live now and was wondering how the hell he could have thought CR was better. |
ObaKlaz:Sounds like you are mimicking a popular Christian song lol. Let me help you in full: "Lord Pendumbourg, that is your name You will never share penalty with anyone, You will never share penalty with anybody, Lord Penaldo, that is your name" ![]() |
Don't worry Mbappe. Despite the miss, you still did extremely well during the match. We aren't bothered by the miss as we are not Lord Pendumbourg that will score penalty and celebrate as if he just won the World Cup. Ermm, for those running mouth about Messi's PSG sojourn, the GOAT now has 3 goals in 3 UCL games, shining where it really matters. Pls come and run your dirty mouth again and ask why he can't do it in a farmer's league. Maybe French league is now tougher than the UCL. Mbappe just said: "Messi is the best player in the world". Pendu fans screaming our mentee, our mentee, don enter mud again ![]() |
Maradona was my first idol. Then I added Georghi Haggi of Romania cos he was magical in USA 94. By 1998, my idols were Batistuta and Ariel Ortega. Battygol cos of his thunderous shots, and Ortega for his trickery. I generally followed Argentina apart from Nigeria in the 90s. By 2000, David Beckham had become my main soccer idol, cos I loved curve balls and his free kicks and Beckhamic crosses gave me that lol. After 2000, childhood don finish na. |
crazygod:Yeah I know. But they are comparable as forwards. Just like we know Salah is better than Mane or Firmino. In any case the question is really about who was more spectacular for Liverpool. |
It's a topic worth revisiting this week, as Salah’s Liverpool prepare to take on Suarez’s Atletico Madrid. It's a meeting of two genuine modern greats; the Egyptian King against the Uruguayan whirlwind, played out in the wonderful surroundings of the Wanda Metropolitano. Both were signed by Liverpool as ‘very good’ players, but went up levels once they set foot inside Anfield. Both scored on their debuts and never looked back. In terms of their numbers, Salah has 135 goals and 46 assists in 214 games for Liverpool while Suarez raked in 82goals and 29 assists in 133 games. Regarding their playing style, Salah favors a marauding winger style cutting in from the right but sometimes also playing as a top 9. Suarez on the other hand was an aggressive technical beast deployed as the main striker but could also play a supportive role. Both players have an eye for the spectacular, Salah with his mazy dribble goals and curlers that are often Messi-esque while Suarez could pull out any kind of outrageous goal from his magical hat especially acrobatic volleys, curlers, solo runs, free-kicks just name it. Salah was the more successful in terms of trophies at Anfield as reflected in the UCL and EPL trophies, but this was more down to him having better quality teammates at his disposal while Suarez's time was spent in less illustrious company. Suarez's trophy value was demonstrated when by the following season, he helped a much better Barcelona side to win the treble while putting in some spectacular performances in the UCL knockout stages that season. So if given a choice between the two in their prime for a single season, who would you go for to join your team? |
jpmoriarti:Lol, it's almost baby-like I swear. |
FirstbornWds: The honest truth right there. |
TheHulk616:Lol, you re funny. Which R.Madrid deserves apology? Do you realize most fraudsters will likely have a club they identify with? How many apologies clubs wan issue abeg? Omoh Hulk, if you lose guard sef, your friend Virus will even wipe you join without blinking. Person wey go don get squid games mentality. No paddy for jungle bro . |
TheHulk616:Eeya Hulk, you are heartbroken and it's kinda touching. Ain't you putting too much faith in online acquaintances though. If church workers like that Bamise guy can defraud people including pastors he knows physically how much more an online personality? |
Numerouno94:Lord Pendumbourg it is then! |
IMO, it is not appropriate to use pastor Adeyemi's picture here. He is also a victim as his church was also scammed from the story since they also invested in his company (I stand to be corrected). Pastors take pictures with many church members both the rich and average among them. Why doesn't the OP also include pictures of Bamise with his Zenith bank boss, his social club acquaintances, and other high network individuals in his network which he must have took pictures with? You cannot hold them responsible for his wrongdoing na when some of them are even his victims. This is just sensationalism (including Sam Adeyemi). |
Numerouno94:Lol, my guy, aje you dey inspire me What do you think about this new nickname: Lord PenduLux or Lord Pendumbourg ![]() |
Messi deserves it because he had the best balance of individual contributions (Currently at 52 goals & assists in 2021) and trophies (Copa America & Copa Del Rey) where he was the main contributor to winning those trophies (best player in both competitions) in addition to the fact that he was highest goal scorer in La Liga with an impressive 30 goals. Lewandowski has better individual stats than Messi (62 goals & assists in 2021) but doesn't score high in the area of trophies or impact in high value competitions (Copa America is considered more significant than Bayern's annual Bundesliga celebrations) (Also didn't do well in UCL) Jorginho scores the highest in trophies won but is very average on individual contributions. I mean this is someone that was regularly subbed off the Italian team at the Euros and almost cost them the title with his missed penalty. In the UCL, Kante, Mount, Havertz and Giroud were the main drivers of Chelsea's win during the campaign. Jorginho can't even make it into Chelsea's first team currently. So on the balance of all the relevant parameters, Messi should win the award and I even think Benzema should pip Jorginho to 3rd. |
Fati had a good game. Meanwhile I dont understand why Barca is ceding so much possession to Valencia this second half cos even with numbers at the back, we still can't defend well. |
DenreleDave:Bro, I've checked your profile in the link you shared. I'll be on the look out for any opportunity that fits into the areas you outlined and will reach out accordingly. Keep the faith and stay positive bro. |
DenreleDave:Yes in a way, they are inter-related but finance is broader. Accounting is basically how to organize and manage financial information which will all end up in the financial statements while Finance is about how to manage money and monetary equivalents mostly for future purposes/investment. Finance entails understanding economics and some accounting as well to make sense of historical financial information for future planning purposes. In simple terms, accounting knowledge comes in handy when making sound finance decisions. In most companies, accountants are designated under the finance function/department. |
I'm rather surprised a kid born in 2010 and who probably started watching Messi in 2017 already knows that CR no be Messi's mate. This is an obvious conclusion. |
Argentina captain Lionel Messi has received his fair share of requests from his fans over the course of his long career. The Paris Saint-Germain forward has had to deal with people in the crowd asking for his match-worn jersey, posed for selfies with pitch invaders and even put his signature on one man's huge back tattoo of the six-time Ballon d'Or winner's image. But it's not often that Messi is asked to offer forgiveness. However, that's exactly what happened this week when an 11-year-old fan turned up at Argentina's training base in Ezeiza on Tuesday clutching a hand-made sign. In an image posted on social media by TyC Sports journalist Gaston Edul, the youngster was pleading forgiveness from Messi because his mother had decided to name him after a different world footballing superstar. Esto acaba de pasar en el predio de la Selección. pic.twitter.com/P16qprDhFF — Gastón Edul (@gastonedul) October 12, 2021 Written in Spanish, the sign read: "Messi, forgive my mother, she didn't know what she was doing, SHE CALLED ME CRISTIANO." https://africa.espn.com/football/blog-the-toe-poke/story/4496720/cristiano11asks-argentina-captain-messi-to-forgive-mother-for-naming-him-after-ronaldo cc: Lalasticlala cc: Mynd44 |
maynia:This guy rest. Chachamiliano is schooling you correctly and you are just being illogically obstinate. How would you compare a Bolivia that has qualified for 3 world cups, a Bolivia that beat Argentina 6 -1 in 2010, to them San Marinos, Estonias, Andorras, Luxembourgs, Maltas, Faroe Islands, Cyprus, Turkmenistans, Latvias, Lithuanias, Moldovas, Macedonias, Gibraltars, all of whom have never even qualified for Euros let alone World Cup. This is a non-argument and I'm surprised it has taken over 4 pages of back and forth between you guys. |
OJEEMAH:Brother, their inferiority complex is mind-boggling. They wont create a thread now about CR's total failure against Leicester but they know how to create negative thread about a Messi that won his game against Peru just because he didn't score forgetting that even without scoring, you'd still see Messi's influence on the pitch. Don't worry the Ronaldo's bubble will burst this season. He's already gone 3 EPL games without a goal, but you wont hear pim from his myrmidons. And without a goal, d baba is completely useless on the pitch. No be everytime you go dey get penalty or tap-in. No Andorra, Lithuania, Luxembourgo in EPL, but he'll manage Watford, Norwich & Burnley. |
Well maybe better than Messi for the past 2 months, but from Jan - August Messi was better. But personally, if given a choice between Salah and CR at any point in time this year, would definitely go for Salah. This is why I tell all those Pendu fans that quality of goals and assists matter when assessing how good a player is but they'd be deceiving themselves that penalty and solo goal are the same just to favour Ronaldo. It's Firmino that scored a hattrick of tap-ins, but everyone is talking about Salah's wonder goal and assist. This is very clear and I consider such peeps as dimwits who know nothing about football. |
pu7pl3:I didnt say so. But let's find out shall we? Dumb - A distinct lack of logic/sense in oral or written output. Inability to make rational conclusions from clear scenarios. A player scored a whopping 30goals in la liga clinching the pichichi trophy and you said that he performed poorly So yes, your comment wasn't just dumb, it was dumb dumb. Whether this is a permanent feature of yours is a different question that only you can answer. Even when trolling, apply sense. |
