I can relate with your story brother because I've been in your shoe before both in Lagos and Ogun state respectively.

As my late father used to say, " It can happen to anybody " i used to wonder how people feel bringing out phone recording people in need of help? What do they do with the videos, share on their status or page for worthless likes and comments?

As for the doctors, i don't blame them since majority of them are heartless and wicked. They derive joy in seeing dead people since our government won't question them.

I could remember how God Almighty used me to rescued a woman like that and only for the doctor and the nurses to be abusing me, calling me bad man that i want the woman to die so i can quickly marry another woman. For their mind they think she's my wife, this is a person i don't even know her name. I lied to them that i was away for work when they called me so i have to quickly rush home, one nurse with razor blade mouth still said because am not a caring man reason i did not know my wife is sick....felt like slapping her but i knew if i ever mention that she's a stranger they won't attend to her again so i have to play along for the sake of the woman.

After every every, she was stabilize and she asked what am i doing here, the nurse with her told her your husband brought you here bla bla bla the woman said am a single mother and please let me see the man. Na so dem know, the woman call her children and friends when dey arrive am about going when the doctor called me inside her office and asked me if i know the risk and repercausion of what i did? She asked me what if the woman die? I just told her, what happened to her could happen to anyone and i left.
The risk i have took for total strangers alone, at times when i remember i just shake head for myself.

Wrong Misconceptions About Gambling

Some people use casting of lots in the Bible to rationalize their addictive betting habit.

During the time of Nehemiah as the Governor, people who should live in Jerusalem were chosen by casting lots (Neh 1:11).

Joshua distributed the land by casting lots in Shiloh in the presence of the Lord (Joshua 18:10). Also, the Apostles cast lots to determine whether to select Matthias or Barsabbas to replace Judas (Acts :23-26).

But why is it sinful for me to gamble? Besides, the Bible says;

Proverbs 16:33
[33]The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD.

Since the outcome of the lot comes from the Lord. Why is betting and gambling sinful?

Note this, the Israelites were instructed by God to cast lots to distribute lands (Numbers 26:55). More so, it was a normal practice for them to cast lots in Isreal to determine certain issues. Read 1 Chronicles 24:5, 31.


Important points
The people who cast lot in the Bible didn’t do so to get more money. They never did it with the expectation of getting quick riches.

Hence, we cannot possibly equate betting or gambling with casting of lots in the Bible. They are different. What the Bible is against is acquisition of wealth in an unjust and speedy manner.

Lots are cast to determine certain decisions not to make money.
Get rid of that misconception. Betting or gambling to acquire more money is sinful. It violates God’s principles of wealth acquisition.

Almighty God is truly awesome, a great eternal self-existent, self-sufficient Being far beyond who words could efficiently describe. The size of HIS Creation (Heavens, Earth, the Multiverse, the Universe, the Angels, Humans, Animals, Inanimate things, etc.) is unquantifiable. HIS Wisdom is truly infite, unsearchable and immeasurable.
Quran and Bible agrees that ALMIGHTY GOD created Man from miry clay and chose to elevate Man above all his creation; including the Angels. Angels were made from fire, diamonds, electricity and superior immortal things that we don't even know as humans, while Man was made from miry clay.

Just as we humans have authority over the cloths, cars, computers, air planes, etc. that we manufactured for particular purposes, ALMIGHTY GOD has far more Supreme Authority over all Angels and Humans because HE created us for his desired purposes. YAHWEH's decision to elevate Man above all the Angels led to the Battle (Revelations 12:7) that happened in Heaven which resulted in the demotion of Satan because he refused to bow to Man (you and I) as ALMIGHTY GOD commanded.

Quran even puts it far better, to prostrate is far more submissive than to bow. Quran stated and reiterated this many times with same sentence. Quran 2:34, Quran 20:116, Quran 18:50, Quran 17:61, Quran 7:11,and Quran 2:34 says: "Recall when We said to all Angels: Prostrate yourselves before Adam; all prostrated themselves except Satan, he refused." Some other angels refused too, and fell with him by doing so. And the Bible confirms this.

Truly, YAHWEH ALMIGHTY, our great Creator, is the Authority over all other authoritie, and nothing that HE desires to do could be stopped. His decision to elevate Man above Angels still came to pass and permanenly eternally established. Bible confirms this in Hebrew 1:6, Deuteronomy 32:43, Revelation 7:11, Revelation 5:1-14; Revelation 19:1-8, etc. Hebrews 1:5-6 "For unto which of the Angels said HE at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? (Non!) And again, I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to me a Son?

He didn't just earn that on a platter of gold, He most painfully paid for it. All were given equal opportunity to come and suffer for the World's Sin that they didn't commit, and die for Humanity. The Yoga instructor  said that she disguised and attended the church where her sexual relationship with the COZA founder began. Giving her reasons,  Ese said  attended COZA to gauge how far she has come in her healing and also to have an experience in the church building she contributed her one year NYSC allowance for.

She wrote "I attended service at COZA.

Disguised of course  (Spy my wig and shades.) I even sat close to the stage and observed the entertainment up close.

Why did I go to COZA?

Two reasons.

The first one was to gauge how far I had come in my healing.

It was the last Sunday before I left for India. I was going to share the photos then but a lot was going on with COZA leader that I didn’t want to throw myself in the middle of all that.

I knew India was going to mark a huge transformation for me and I thought about the one thing I didn’t know how I felt about and how I might conquer it.

COZA came to mind.

For years I had convinced myself that I was at war with COZA and as my healing progressed I realised that story didn’t hold water so I came up with a plan to go attend service there and see what comes up for me. A friend agreed to follow me in case things didn’t go as I planned

I was pretty amused with the whole being there and sitting in the big ass auditorium looking how far it had grown since its Metro plaza and Dome days. I didn’t recognise one face in the choir though a few protocol members looked familiar.

I also found that I wasn’t angry, hurt or any of the other feelings I had dragged on myself for years. I was very entertained too. It made sense why I was drawn to the church back in the day. I have to admit the founder knew what his focus was when he opened “shop” in Abuja. Sitting there made me realise I had moved past many of the things I thought I hadn’t moved past. It made sense why I wasn’t interested in investing my energy in the recent dragging of its owner. Like I said in story 1, this Ese hardly recognises the Ese of 2013.

The second reason I went was, when COZA was still at Metro plaza, I contributed my one year NYSC allowee to the church-building project. I invested in that building. Do you know what it means to give all your allowee as a corper? It didn’t make sense that I had not seen the building I contributed my 12 months allowee to. Spiritually, I own some part of the building and it made sense to experience it at least once.

Just as the message was ending, I left with my friend and he took these photos of me outside. That was sometime in August and I am glad I didn’t share the photos then.

When I left for India after this experiment, I knew I was going there free from any beef or bad belle for any human or institution. Truth is, the beef must have ended a long time ago but I didn’t realise this because I was following a narrative that Ese hated COZA, or pastors or even Christians. I don’t hate anybody. Hate is too much energy and I’d be damned if I allow anybody or anything determine how I show up in the world and who I beef. It will pain me to beef anyone or anything because that will mean giving my power away. If there is something I have learned about mind control, it is, you decide how you RESPOND to EVERY situation.

If there is anything I have to say to the owner of coza and even coza in general, it is THANK YOU.

If I didn’t lose my faith, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to explore life on the level I am exploring it now. My biggest freedom has been the freedom from religion and it’s shackles. Boobbabies are lucky they won’t have to go through that programming.

What going to COZA proved to me is, we can choose how we want to show up in the world, we can choose what we let limit us and how we use our painful experiences to empower ourselves.

I left India a deeper person than the one that went there. I looked my former wounds in the face and thanked them for showing up. So when I say I can lead you through your pain and to your healing, I am speaking experientially not because of something I learned in a book.

I am powerful beyond measure.

When I think of myself these days, I see myself on the level of the character Jesus, Buddha and some mystics of India. I am no simpleton and maybe this is why my “troubles” have been life altering.

I am going to do what I said I will do.

1. The Phone Repairers Around Plaza: Should your phone get spoilt, while in Uyo, pls don't make the mistake of taking your phone to any of the so called phone repairers around the popular plaza, cos majority of them are scammers. They don't know how to repair phones.They are just there looking for unsuspecting customers to swindle.
Most of them are agents who pose and pretend to be genuine phone repairers. They are just there to seek and collect phones from customers, which are later taken to the real (but not so good) phone repairer somewhere for repairs. The outrageous fee collected from customers are usually shared between them. And most times, they are unable to repair the phones after collecting money from the owners of the phones. Their main aim is to 'chop' your money. They are swindlers. They don't take their time to learn the work well before setting up shop as phone repairers.

Don't take your phone for repairs to any of those guys at plaza. Simply look for an authorized and well established phone repair company to take your bad phone to in uyo.


2. Shoe Sellers At Plaza: Avoid buying shoes or any footwear on display from any of the sellers around plaza. Majority of them sell substandard footwears that won't last more than 3 months before they start getting spoilt. Avoid them!

They may be cheap, but they are substandard footwears. Save enough money and go to any good boutique in Uyo to get quality shoes that you can wear and enjoy for a long time.


3. And avoid dating Uyo girls. According to some guys I spoke with, most of the girls in Uyo are scammers. Many of them work hand in hand with their main boo to deceive and scam unsuspecting toaster or lover boy. They told me, most of these girls are usually sent and used by their main uyo boyfriend (that can't take care of them very well), to deceive and scam any guy that might want to date her. The girls will give the new loverboy sex, just to make him feel happy and convinced, while they (together with their main boo) feed on his money and resources...

In order not to be scammed, they are advising guys to face their work/business, and avoid Uyo girls. Cos the girls are not in Uyo to count flyovers. They are there to make money off guys.

I'm not supporting either sides in this argument but I would like to share my thoughts on the topic of souls. Listen, every human being on earth has a soul or living force that keeps them alive. Infact, we are souls or spiritual beings having a physical experience for the purpose of evolving our souls. Earth is like a tough learning ground where souls choose to come to for the tough experiences that earth life offers, which in turn propels souls to grow stronger and better. I actually purchased a new DStv decoder last month. It came with one month free Compact bouquet subscription. Towards the end of the subscription earlier this week, I received a call from a DStv marketer (01 280 6877). I was asked to upgrade to a Compact Plus bouquet for N10,650 in order to get double upgrade to the Premium bouquet. Since I wanted to resubscribe anyway (I actually wanted to maintain the Compact bouquet), I decided to do the upgrade and pay the extra in order to get the premium channels.

I paid the money and went ahead with the upgrade, believing that I was going to get the premium channels. After 48 hours, I was yet to get the upgrade and I sent an email. My email was not replied. I decided to call the customercare to make my complaint. The agent that spoke with me then told me that the promo is not for me as my account was only created in September. I queried her on why the company's marketer called me for a promo that I was ineligible for without mentioning it. When I got the message about the offer, it wasn't explicitly mentioned that it was for old customers ONLY.

My anger now is that I was essentially deceived by the company and their marketers to upgrade even when I did not want to. I do not actually need a Compact Plus (it's virtually the same with the Compact, apart from new sports content which I don't need). I only upgraded because I wanted to access the premium bouquet. I expressed my dismay to the customercare agent and told her that the company had tricked me. The extra money I spent is not the issue but the thwarted expectations that I had. I promised the agent to call out DStv for this blatant misuse of advertisement.

I have also tweeted @DStv, @DStvNg, and @DStvCare on this issue and have not gotten any response. I am bringing the issue here on Nairaland so that all Dstv customers or potential customers can know of the deceptive tactics DStv uses in its advertisement. Before you deal with DStv, make sure you ask them to tell you ALL the clauses because they won't tell you. All they need is your money so they don't care about consumer rights.


I will also forward my complaint to relevant regulatory agencies as well.

my friend, a lot of us have encountered this one way or the other. the sad thing is i wouldn't even know where to turn to. that's is why I believe there is a lot of anger in this country. I won a particular amount online at bet9ja, I was only credited 2/3 of the money, I called like two customer care, they promised each time they will look into it. they didn't. plus I was expending my airtime each time I called. Nigeria is so so not working. in a saner country there will be bodies that handle such matter. u can even sue them.
