fergie001:Can you be a judge in your own case? |
samuelson06: |
samuelson06:It may be my last response to you on this issue today. I adjudge that you just like argument and you don’t really know or understand Bible position on things. Further correspondence with you might just be like one punching the air especially as you are want of casting aspersions. I have had several correspondence with you and I made myself clear. I am not a Christianometer but I have one and it’s the Bible which I have used profusely. I have dealt on your number one point in one of the correspondence. And I told you the Bible have nothing against the trousers so far it is easily recognizable as 1, belonging to the sex wearing it. Trousers or skirt is not set in stone as to belong to a particular sex. However like I pointed out to you, like in the dressing of those Bible times that looked generally like skirt but people are still able to differentiate which is for who so also a guy for example should not wear a girls trousers and a girls must not wear a guys trousers. One can imagine that God in is wisdom and foresight made this rule to safeguard against the culture of homosexuality. In that culture you see guys that want to pretend as ladies and ladies that want to pretend they are guys because they are in a sexual relationship with another lady. And trouser wearing for both girls and boys must follow the eden standard by covering. Not one that shows the lining of your buttocks or your penis bulge. Or wear trousers you sag that shows your boxers in a way that do not glorify God. All these ideas are gotten from the Bible. Lastly a trouser and other clothing must glorify God. Now this will deal with the ‘b’ point you highlighted; because there are clouds of witnesses around us, you must not conduct yourself or clothe yourself in a way that people will look at you and ask whose child is this. In a way that people will look at you and automatically associate you with some bad groups. Now Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith and we look to him through the pages of the Bible. SIMPLE You are searching the Scripturesh because you think that you will have everlasting life by means of them; and these are the very ones that bear witness about me. John 5:39; Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6; This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ. John 17:3. |
samuelson06:Because I didn’t put chapters and verses to it abi? Lol... Just in my last response alone, I mentioned the event to you at Genesis 3:20. I also showed you the idea that is in Deuteronomy 22:5 and 1 Corinthians 6:20 (“glorify God in your body”). And when I quoted that “there are clouds of witnesses around us” I was almost quoting directly Hebrew 12:1. My friend, your argument and response hasn’t evidently shown that you are being guided by the Bible. This mean you are most likely not a Christian... maybe only Christian in name. To rest this it might be that you are in the wrong place and reacting to the wrong issue. This issue is for Christians and people that are ready to accept in FULL bibles regulations and definitions. |
samuelson06:I advice you go back to the Bible and get to know what we came here to do and our final destiny really. You have referred to our dressing standard and even sexual orientation as though it is not something Bible defines and regulate. You are either ignorant or lying as I will point to you that God actually through the Bible regulates our dressing by two/three standards; 1. It was in the beginning in Eden that God actually fist start to define and regulate dressing standards. The standard God set there was that clothings must cover. God replaced the clothes our first parent made with leaves with that made of animal skins. 2: God enjoins us to dress in a way that we won’t be mistaken to other sex or people that the world sees as belong to some culture with ungodly vices. 3: this encapsulate everything, and it is that our conduct and clothing must glorify God “FOR THERE ARE CLOUD OF WITNESSES AROUND US.” You remember I said at the very beginning that I do not know your religion but then you boasted that the Bible regulates you. But this hasn’t been evident in your argument. I have made in all my response references to Bible events and even quoted Bible, and you haven’t been able to fault any of this. But you on the other hand, have hardly made reference to anything from the Bible. One can conclude that you are not really being regulated by the Bible but by human (limited and deficient) wisdom and traditions. You have even gone 180 degrees by going against your advice not to judge by directly judging me and falsely saying that ‘me and people like me’ define dressing standards and condemn people. Dressing like gay issue has been refined and regulated by the Bible. And I have all the while shown you this |
samuelson06:I like the way you started that you are regulated by the Bible. The Bible have one message. Our interpretation isn’t the Bible message . We must constantly look at our interpretation and constantly a check and ensures it always in tandem with the Bible. We should even adjust our interpretations in the light of better understanding. Imports too, the Bible ask us not to Judge. Those skirt like dress or clothes looking like gowns in those day were the acceptable way of dressing for that time (remember I said in my first reaction that we should be careful about how people judge at a time or age). Still even then, men’s clothing were easily recognizable and differentiated from womens. I am not against trousers as their are trousers that a guy wouldn’t wear without looking odd as people generally at this time recognize it to mean it’s a ladies trousers. In this vein, my associating some particular dressing to yahoo yahoo people it’s not just me it is how the general recognize it at this time...{I had to break}... we shouldn’t pretend like we don’t know this kind of dressing. Moses was mistaken for an Egyptian by the midianites because of the way he dressed. It was not the personal interpretation of the observers then, people generally then as they would now know how Egyptians dress. God should be glorified in our conducts as well as clothing. If somebody that dresses ok is bad in character then that person has only scored 50 over 100 it’s the same way has person that dresses badly but has good character |
samuelson06:I don’t know your religion but what Bible teaches is that our worship of God is more than a personal thing... it is a worship that is regulated by the Bible and that place high importance on our consideration of what others think about us (yes really! As a Christian we have to be concerned about what others think about us) In the Bible we are enjoined not to conform to the WORLD. As a Christian we should be careful of what people at a particular time judge to be things of the world. If the Bible say that during prayers women should cover their heads especially women with shaven heads, then women should. The Bible explains that this token shows they know their position and its respect even to angels. We should also be careful not to dress in a way people can mistake us to yahoo yahoo people. Yes that’s Christianity |
Kapeter:Get a better life. You may sound smart but you are not. Anybody that glorify or is often prone to resort to tribal sentiments especially put against the context that’s prevailing now is in fact backward at heart and myopic in worldview Another person can say the girl is an Anambra Igbo girl that came to trump all yorubas in their own backyard. Racism and tribalism have no clear cut boundaries. You don’t know where to stop when you are one. JUST STOP NOW. |
Kapeter:Get a better life. You may sound smart but you are not. Anybody that glorify or is often prone to resort to tribal sentiments especially put against the context that’s prevailing now is in fact backward at heart and myopic in worldview |
emekajacobogbon:The guy I reacted to, post the often go to ideology of some poor Christian that infer lifestyle or the way one appears doesn’t matter so far one heart is good. That ideology is big lie. Physical manifestations is directly related with a God fearing heart. In fact who and what you are in reality and physically is a direct product of who and what you are in the heart. |
Prince202020:We serve God in example more than in the heart |
Adeshi:I do not want to wait another 2 months, my marriage is just 2years and my wife is starting to worry too. Do not eat or drink anything close to bedtime. Pee too before you sleep. Don’t over worry. It’s an embarrassing case but nothing serious. Just form an helpful regime around it. It may go with time |
StagethemTVee:This children like Rhodes Vivour according to some barbarians are Omo ale Yoruba and they should never be governor of Lagos because their mum is igbo |
PlayerMeji:Ode ni e. Ara e ko oto. Enu e lowa yen. I used verifiable logic to tell you what would have happened, but because of your dark mind you reacted negatively to it. Your type are threats to society because you make wrong decisions that affects everyone and you never learn or show repentance |
PlayerMeji:Liar... or you are ignorant. I will show you two things that would most likely have been different under Obis presidency as regards to fuel subsidy: 1. He in another tweet said he will phase it out gradually. He specifically mentioned 50percent reduction first. So what would have happened is that we would have been buying the fuel next month for around #330 (not the #500 we have already started buying it since the beginning of this month). 2. The price hike (which will be around #330 would have started next month. Because subsidy still covers this month. This government hasn’t explained enough what they will use the excess subsidy money of this to do. And one last thing which is like a bonus is that * Obi wouldn’t have caused the kind of shock, suffering and chaos Tinubu caused by going of script from the very first day of his administration. |
Kriss216:What is this ‘as African’ ‘as Africana’. Does something become ok automatically because it’s an African thing? Don’t you see where we are ‘as African’? Shouldn’t this tell you that many things about us has to be changed or improve for us to progress? You people should start thinking outside the box for Gods sake |
taylor89:God bless you man. The denial of their kindred is dirty politics. Your people are are culturally, linguistically, biologically, ethnically and geographically Igbos. |
WHATS THE BENEFIT OF BEING A WIFE JUST IN TITLE ONLY WHEREBY IN PRACTICE YOU ARE JUST ONE WOMAN AMONG SEVERAL. WHATS THE IMPORTANCE OF HAVING A FATHER THAT WON’T BE ABLE TO BE THERE AND GUIDE YOUR GROWTH? Davido has been disrespectful and selfish to Chioma. And it maybe because Chioma doesn’t respect herself or rate herself much too. Davido is also selfish towards those many kids he is having about because he won’t be a present fatherly figure to them. Somebody should teach this guy withdrawal method for f**k sake. He is building families and having children that will be bitter and antagonistic towards each other in the future.

Parachoco:It’s not just about exercising right, it’s about being responsible about the exercise of right. It’s about not being an oloriburuku and an akoshibero |
otipoju:Abeg nothing like to each is own. That lifestyle is a selfish lifestyle |
BePrepared:I have studied the Quran and several Hadiths. I might even know the history of the then Islamic world more than you. However, please point out any incident during the prophets lifetime where somebody was lynched |
Grit2943:The f**king killers and illiterates have killed another person again. The people that have their heads filled with stones. Disgrace of a people. People that do not know that humans make mistakes. Electors of bad leaders. Terrible people. Mohammed didn’t preach this their kind of religion. There is no record of such killings all through Mohammed’s time. This trend is continuing because the bad leaders this people put in place didn’t do anything about past incidents. |

Prigozhin action no matter the underlying grievance or sense of injustice is ill thought out. -The best case scenario for him is to disappear to some country that is friendly to Russia that can offer him adequate asylum -The worst decision he can make is to persist in his self disillusioned state and go ahead with his affront. The world needs Russia as a counterweight. His force can just cause some discomfort and bad public optics, it’s however too small to fight the whole strength of Russia Armed forces. He has 25000 soldiers. Russia can call up on some 25million reservists. *Russians overwhelming sentiments-presently and historically- is to their homeland through their leader. *Russia has the world record of Nuclear weapons. It has modern delivery systems and also has a robust nuclear deterrent triad, hence the prospect of its defeat is close to impossible. *a chaotic Russia is a big threat to the world. *there are hardline Muslims nations in Russia that can get hold on dangerous weapons if Russia disintegrate. *this Prigozhin adventure will quickly come to an end. Russia will have to clamp down on it more forcefully than even the way it has been going about in Ukraine. |
Greenfaces:You are really what u called me. I won’t go forth and back with you. Is Abuja a Muslim state? Is it fair for Muslims to ban for example alcohol but still enjoy from the revenues federal government get from the sale of alcohol? How many other states in Nigeria formulate laws based on religion or to guide some religious interest in Nigeria? How many other non sharia state have for example gospel laws to guide their indigenes? |
nlfpmod:I do not know your intentions with your friend and it is not really my business. However, there are a lot of disturbing things about Nigeria that I get pissed about because I feel people aren’t noting it enough. What’s the meaning of having some law for the north and another law for the south. This arrangement looks like a scam. The north will want to enjoy all the benefits but then have some restrictions people here in the south cannot appreciate. Why do we not just say we are two federating regions. Why the pretense about one Nigeria. And besides it’s Abuja under the northern penal code and not under the federal penal code as the federal capital? This nation get K leg. So I go dey inside the federal capital as a Nigeria from the south and I will be watching my back not sure the laws guiding activities in the capital? It’s just confusing and unfair. And southerners especially southern Muslims do not appreciate this dilemma. What’s this fir God sake |
