I attended counselling sessions organised by the church which was part of marriage requirements.
I feel however that what will make an individual(or couple) excel in marriage is dependent on what they must have built in themselves over the years and their determination to make their marriages work.

One could learn a thing or two from pre-marraige counselling sessions so i don't think it's a waste of time.

Not necessarily, I had my first baby without a tear and she weighed 3.8, she was really big. To me I feel that having a tear or not depends on the expertise of ur Dr.
Just my opinion though.

It depends more on the size of the baby and the birth canal.A good doctor should give you a cut if absolutely necessary rather than let you have a tear. A cut is easier to stitch rather than a tear.

You can do what is known as kegel exercises(find out more if you don't know about it).If you are very regular with it,you will see an improvement.

Above all,technique/position also matter in getting the satisfaction you desire.
