fancyupage: To all Nigerian men, please get it into your skull, you do not own a woman, she is your companion.. You start by saying the above and now below you are specific about some men fancyupage: No to disappoint you, I am writing based on Ronke's death and the fact that some men seek to be justifying his anger. I'm not disappointed at all. Your write-up is apt,it's just that you seem to make domestic violence the male exclusive.I'm sure you heard of the woman who stabbed her husband to death in his sleep. |

Politics › Re: Christian Theologian Argues That Prophetmuhammed(pbuh)was Predicted In The Bible by thorpido(m): 12:57pm On May 11, 2016 |
theGuest: A totally unrelated piece of information: All Muslims (no matter the sect) place Jesus (SAW) on a platter of Gold. They pray for him ANYTIME his name is mentioned. They will never insult him. They even believe that he, Jesus (SAW), was the saviour . . . But only during his time on earth.
I said this is totally unrelated because real Muslims don't care what names you call Muhammed (PBUH), whether you see him as "spirit of truth" or not.
One thing I love about the Bible is that it is full of wise proverb that holds true in every occasion. For example John 8:32. Swallow your pride, guys, and seek the truth. Don't even go seeking it anywhere except from the bible. Because (Mark 8:36) "what does it profit you to stay in your comfort zone but forfeit your soul to falsehood?"
Let me assure you that alot of Muslims will be punished by Allah for making Islam unattractive to you (false Jihadist, Muslim terrorist, paedophiles, bad-intentioned polygamist, fetish Imams etc) but YOU only will be queried for not seeking the truth.
Millions of Christians around the world, in the last few years have sought after the truth about Islam, some were convinced that Islam really is bad, some otherwise.
My challenge for you is simple: If you're going to defend Christianity and bad mouth Muhammed (PHUB) and Islam, be objective and seek out the truth.
Peace be upon you ✌ That you place Jesus on a platter of Gold does not support the truth. The message of Jesus was the gospel which in summary means that He died for the sins of mankind and He is Lord.Islam does not accept that. Being nice and accepting the truth are not the SAME. To place Jesus on a platter of gold or say He was one of the prophets does not STAND in Truth. That is the error we kick against as Christians. Again praying for Jesus is a waste of prayer. It's useless and unfruitful. The quran says Jesus was received into heaven. How do you pray for someone who is in heaven already?Isn't it a useless prayer? Moreover,Jesus Himself is the answer to prayer. @second bolded, that's not true. Many islamic scholars spend time and energy trying to prove from John 14 and 16 that Muhammed was who Jesus spoke about. You seem a nice guy but like i said, being nice and standing in the Truth are not the same. |
Politics › Re: Christian Theologian Argues That Prophetmuhammed(pbuh)was Predicted In The Bible by thorpido(m): 6:37am On May 11, 2016 |
There should be peace between Christians and muslims. The world needs that peace.
HOWEVER,Jesus did not predict the coming of Muhammad.Muhammad is NOT the 'Spirit of truth'.He was not a spirit in the first place.John 14 did not speak of him because he doesn't fit the description of the Personality in that chapter.Of course the apologetics have to twist it to make him fit just to give that credibility. It doesn't matter that a so-called christian priest writes any article. That doesn't make him an authority on the scriptures.
Make peace but don't spread falsehood.Muhammad was the only prophet of Allah. |

He should come out and tell this story to the police and the public. It's unfortunate that dead people don't talk. The neighbours have constantly and recently heard noise and scuffle so it must be a lie to say you haven't touched her in 3yrs. When you push someone and the person knocks the back of the head against a hard surface, you don't have an idea how fatal that could be? Lagos boy,the police will smoke you out soon.
It's just unfortunate that many women don't know when to leave in an abusive relationship.'I'm staying because of the children'.Sigh |

sweetlily2818: out grow u say, even in the night before sleep his hands must inside his pant,I've spank he severally but it's just getting worst. Interestingly,if you keep spanking and hammering on it,it might make him more addicted. It's a behaviour similar to sucking the thumb, playing with the belly button or picking the nose. He doesn't recognise the sexual thing yet so it's not like self-servicing.It's just an innocent exploration of the body. What you can do more is distract him- with a toy or some other activities. He will outgrow it i assure you.It becomes a problem if at 5 or 6 yrs,he still does it. |

Ask4bigneyo: Have been wondering why our pregnant women always attached safety pin(s) to their clothes/wears.
It is commonly practiced among the Yorubas but i don't know whether this is been practiced by other cultures/tribes..
According to an elderly man who pleaded anonymity pointed out that "Safety pin" is usually attached to their clothes/wears in order to protect the fetus from the evil spirits/daemons hovering around especially @ noon and night.
I don't know whether if you guys have witness this in a pregnant women's clothes before.
Lets share our experiences so far and catch fun. People hear things and without thinking through begin to follow others to do it. Have they ever thought for a second that evil spirits are spirits ?What will the safety pin do to the spirits?'Chook' them? What if they come through the back and not the front? People just follow what doesn't make sense. |

Romance › Re: Am I Overreacting? by thorpido(m): 8:17am On May 04, 2016 |
Danfuster: he is not overreacting, he's foreseeing what might/is to come. Don't forget when you marry someone, you marry that person's whole family as well.
In any relationship you are, never ever compromise for all that little signs cos they're the handwritting on the wall.
At OP: It is only mature and diplomatic for you to discuss this with her mom and when I say discuss... I mean "communicating".. Remember, " there are no bad wives, only bad in-laws"
This is really deceptive, I wonder what it'd be like when trying times are here and you report your wife to her mom, she'd probably tell you "I'll get back to you, let me talk to her" and she won't get back to you just like she did here whilst condoning her daughters nonsense instead of scolding her.
Be wise bro... Never ever doubt your instinct. While I agree you need to pay attention to even little things while dating,i still say he is over reacting in this case. How do you tell a woman you want to marry the daughter and she should keep it from the daughter? It's as good as told.He shouldn't have involved her family at all. He needs to have a talk with the mother as you said. |
Health › Re: Is My Wife Infertile?? by thorpido(m): 7:07am On May 04, 2016 |
Why is your title,is my wife infertile? What if the problem is with you? Follow the advise of the earlier posters.Your wife should stay lying down with the hips propped with a pillow and the legs raised after each lovemaking. Some semen will still inevitably leak but that would keep much inside.
If after trying for some time and there is still no pregnancy, you might have to go and see a gynaecologist who would put both of you through tests. |
Romance › Re: Am I Overreacting? by thorpido(m): 6:58am On May 04, 2016 |
Yes,you're over reacting.Firstly, why did you decide to involve her mother?Proposals are done with individuals involved or you could have friends organise with you. Secondly, you're getting married to her and not the mother so why are you angry with the one you plan to marry. Just get over it. |
