Any player on the pitch can take another player's jersey. The third pic was our match against Bosnia-Herzegovinia.

njokusboy: . U don't seem to get it... Having s*e*x is mutual, carrying and birthing a child against the mans consent isn't mutual... The side that made the decision alone should bear the consequences alone... Very simple... The woman doesn't get to mess up her body if its don't the right way...... Infact she messes up her body more if she decides to birth the child...
Choosing to have sex as a man which you know can lead to pregnancy makes you culpable. You don't go there in the first place.

I don't know what you mean by a woman messing up her body if she decides to have a baby.Childbirth is a beautiful thing.
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by thorpido(m): 12:38pm On Jul 05, 2014
In developed societies, the man should pay.Not for the sake of the mother but the child.
Both partners have responsibilities to prevent unwanted pregnancy. If however a pregnancy happens, then the man cannot absolve himself irrespective of if he told her to do something about it or not.

If the ink doesn't drop, the paper can't get stained.

The moment a man decides to sleep with a woman,he ought to realise he sets himself up for responsibilities beyond just the pleasure of the moment.
Contraceptives are not 100% effective.

For I was envious of the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
For there are no bands in their death;but their strength is firm.
They are not in trouble as other men;neither are they plagued like other men.
Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain;violence covereth them as a garment.

They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.
And they say,How doth God know?and is there knowledge in the Most High?

Surely thou didst set them in slippery places:thou castedst them down into destruction. How are they brought into desolation,as in a moment!

For,lo,they that are far from thee shall perish;thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
But it is good for me to draw near to God:I have put my trust in the Lord God,that I may declare all thy works.

Psalm 73.

Keshi tried. However,he showed some deficiencies in the France game. What is he doing with four attackers when Onazi was out and the midfield had literarily collapsed?
I still think there is that Nigerian factor(sentiments)with Nigerian coaches that hinders them from choosing the best(most qualified, fittest)when it comes to team selection.

Op,what did you study in the higher institution?
I have found out in life that sometimes it's not what we study that might eventually make us excell. You may have been searching for a job in the direction of your qualification.
There is a scripture that says the wind bloweth where it listed. You hear the sound of it but you don't know it's direction. So is everyone born of the spirit.I have a friend who was studying medicine and was eventually asked to withdraw. This guy can convince you to buy anything from him.Sometimes he makes me buy things I may eventually not use.He has the gift of selling.
Look inwards and see what gift you have(everyone does).Begin to work towards that direction.

Don't give up on God......cos He won't give up on you....
God answers prayers but His answer may not be the direction we want to go.

I'll call u later.

StarBoard: Nonsense.
When the ref was disallowing the legitimate Bosnia goal, the international community was on strike,ba?

Nigerians and this silly victim mentality.

We had a team that was obviously not ready in any form or fashion, yet we want to blame a ref for our inability to progress past the round of 16.

We were not good enough. simple and short.
Referees make mistakes, that does not mean it should be a trend that it has been in this world cup.
The international community criticises every game but the Nigerian match showed the referee favoured the bigger 'name' France. If it was a Nigerian that gave that Matuidi tackle,it would have been a straight red.

Family › Re: Hubby Loves Me But I Love My Boyfriend More by thorpido(m): 3:24pm On Jun 30, 2014
Divorce your hubby and marry your ex-boyfriend.

On a serious note, one thing you need to know is that you should settle it in your head that you are married to your hubby and not your ex-boyfriend.
Think more about your hubby and work more with him.Your ex-boyfriend didn't know all about you in one day,it took some time.Teach your hubby the things you want and communicate more with him.Be patient with him.

Christianity Etc › Re: How Do You Reconcile Spirituality With Reality ? by thorpido(m): 2:51pm On Jun 29, 2014
neutralwaya: Hmmm, quite meditative and of course, Faith cometh by hearing the word of God. However, how do we reconcile this FAITH with REALITY ....... as in, what Theological line do we tow in this regard that also aligns with our philosophy on life.... That I seek answer to.

For example : How do you explain to an individual who is grieving about the loss of a child/husband/wife/friend/classmate/colleague who was caught up in a bomb blast or chaos which could have been prevented by working toward an order or putting preventive measures in place : Do you just say, that is how God wants it ?
Accidents do happen. The bible says, the thief cometh not but to steal, kill and to destroy, but I am come that they might have life and have it to the full(John 10:10).
What Christians need to do more is anticipate evil and ward off evil with prayers. The bible shows us that destruction is not God's will.

If you know anyone bereaved, you can condole with them.Let them know that it's not only in this life we have hope. The bible says we are of all men miserable if we do not have hope beyond this life.Let them know that they shall find comfort in God and God will give them the fortitude to bear it.
Christianity Etc › Re: How Do You Reconcile Spirituality With Reality ? by thorpido(m): 2:03pm On Jun 29, 2014
The Word of God is sure and guides us through the path that we should follow.Again the word of God says God will not put more on us than we could bear but will provide a way of escape.

You as a Christian is expected to be full of the Word of God and exercise your faith to build it so you can overcome whatever situation you face.If a situation overwhelms you,it's because your faith is small and requires you grow.

The word of God never changes and is the standard. Those who make excuses do so just to circumvent the word.

dicz: Blv u me when I say there is totally no space in our house, I dnt even hv to put a town I actually hv to dress in there, no space at all, our kitchen is so small when he pass, I hv to shift a bit, I feel like I'm in a cage, yah myb if we had a bigger house it wouldn't b the same, wen we hv sex we hubby, we definitely hv to b silent coz our bedrooms r just 3 foot steps away frm each other.
Now i understand. It's a tight situation.I will expect your in-laws to be considerate and give you some space. What exactly is your BIL doing?Does he go to work or school from your house?
Discuss with your husband and let him know how discomforting it is with the in-laws around.
It's a moral dilemma. If they don't see a reason to stay away at least for now,you will just keep praying to God to give you resources for a bigger apartment.
Family › Re: Brother In-law! by thorpido(m): 8:31am On Jan 10, 2014
OP,I think you are just being paranoid. It seems you grew up not having men around you.
This is Africa.In-laws will always visit and sometimes stay for even indefinite periods of time.If they are from eastern Nigeria,it's even a norm.
From what you wrote,I guess your apartment isn't really spacious. How exactly is your accommodation?Do you have to come out of your room with a towel and go across the apartment to get to the bathroom? If this is the situation,it might make you uncomfortable but I'm afraid until you get a bigger apartment, you will just have to make do with what you have.
Your husband's male family members are sensible enough not to harm you or assault you in any way. However,if there are genuine concerns about anyone's behaviour, that should be addressed.
I'm afraid you discussing with your husband won't change anything. He can't drive them away(it'll bounce on u if he does).
If there are genuine concerns that anyone could hurt you, then address that.If not, just manage what you have.

She don talk am finish. The bottom line is it depends on the man.
She has to choose between her man having the better job and being away or she resigning and moving with him.
