The simple meaning of 'exercise' is to put to use,put into action ,to operate...
If you command someone to heal,it simply means to put to use his faith and heal the sick.
If a man does not have faith in the first place how will the 'command' of Jesus work?
'Exercising your faith' is NOT trying your luck.The Bible does not teach that.
