NaijaOlosho:Even when a Yoruba Governor has done you good, you still are an ingrate? During the lockdown, I reached out to the Governor of Lagos; His Excellency; Babajide Sanwo-Olu who magnanimously gave me; |
adadike:So you missed the part he said "our people", and that the Lagos state government contributed relief materials while he added his own? During the lockdown, I reached out to the Governor of Lagos; His Excellency; Babajide Sanwo-Olu who magnanimously gave me; I want to commend His Excellency; Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for the courage and pro-efficiency he has brought to bear in fighting this deadly virus. It is worthy of note to thank him for also giving other prominent Igbo personalities and Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo (Lagos) palliatives to distribute to our people in Lagos. I urge them to distribute these palliatives effectively so as to cushion the the effects of this pandemic on the rest of our people.I hope Igbos will appreciate the efforts of Gov Babajide Sanwo-Olu. |
It is always enjoyable to IPOB zombies when they are the ones poking fun, but tell them to prove that the late Nnamdi Kanu is alive, they become aggressive and suddenly lose their humor. A single charlatan managed to reduce his own tribe to a laughing stock, by exploiting the genetic hatred the tribe is imbued with. |
adadike:Very typical. Victim mentality even over this Corona Virus matter? |
Officialgarri:If only you knew about the Sierra Leone Creoles and that majority of them are Yorubas, you wouldn't have been confused. Even Fourah Bay with its popular Fourah Bay college is a Yoruba Muslim town. Besides, his mum is Amanze, so he is both Igbo and Yoruba, but Nigerian through his mum. |
Lostz:I remember the BBC documentary during Fashola's first term as governor of Lagos, showing the hidden slum life behind the façade of a luxurious city. The Part 1 of the documentary was about an Igbo man who was a scavenger who made money selling scraps salvaged from the various dumpsite. The documentary focused on how life is hard in Lagos, especially for a refugee in Lagos. The Igboman toiled for weeks to raise about N5000 that was used to celebrate the daughter's birthday. If you want the youtube link that shows that Igboman living like a "king" in Lagos while scavenging choice lands, I will oblige you so you can see the reality of the majority of Igbos in Lagos. Did I mention that part 2 was also about an Igbo youth who was hustling to be a musician in Lagos? He was arrested before the documentary could be finished, so it ended with him in the police cell. I will gladly oblige you the link of your humility. |
Tobrasky:Did I ever doubt you were Igbo? You wanted to hide under SS, but I beat the Igbo out of you. Be proud of what you are. |
Lostz:Ouch! I like how it hurts you. It is only an Igboman that dreams of one day chasing the natives from their land. It is a symptom of low self esteem and lack of pride in what land is native to you. Maybe it is the erosion that has caused this poor self worth? |
Lostz:I like how you realized your initial question was stupid, considering the bolded reply. Funny enough, before your type had a Secondary school in Igboland, Yorubas were already importing and exporting between continents, exploiting the natural resource of their coastal location. That we have moved on to other economic concerns while allowing you have something to do, is no reason to be boastful. You should be happy that Nigeria has allowed you such freedom despite your lamentations of marginalization. If you are tired of the "monopoly" you enjoy while lamenting about the monopoly of others in other sectors, we can make it competitive for you. So that you can have an extra matter to wail about. |
Tobrasky:Exactly! You jam brain wey sharp pass you. Now run along with your hypocrisy. |
Tobrasky:You set a standard to exonerate the Igbos, yet you do not want me to use the same standard to exonerate my tribe and the rest of Nigeria? Oh! How Igbo of you. I know you are Igbo, so only you are justified. Also thanks for reminding everyone that you were more deserving of secession than the NigerDelta republic. It is the Igbo in you that cannot be hidden. |
Lostz:Oh I have eaten, and I have also fed some of my employees. Apart from that, I weekly patronize the supermarket of an Igbo man, buying provisions that sum up to over N100k monthly. How he chooses to spend the money he made from my patronage, is entirely up to him. But the day he wants to pretend he brought his money from Awka or Nnewi, or that only his tribe patronize him for his importation, you know what will happen when we all desert him? It will be like he is back to the village he fled in his youth. |
Redcrafton:You forget that Lekki and the high rises of the Island are a Yoruba man's village. My village precisely. I don't intend to do anything to a man who makes his money in Yorubaland, pays his tax, and remembers to invest some of that money in his village and to alleviate the poverty there. But I will always remind the man who arrived Lagos with a black nylon bag, that he did not bring any money from Awka or Aba, whenever he begins to badmouth the same land he came to for refuge and economic prosperity. |
Lostz:Remind me which tribe was relocated from under the bridges in Lagos and dispatched to Anambra where all the elders were wailing that their kindred must be returned to the Igbo man's London called Lagos? Remind me the choice land in Ajegunle where the Igbos are well populated? Remind me the tribe of the street hawkers who are daily chased and whipped like criminals by Yoruba government officials? I will humble you today. |
Tobrasky:Thank you from exonerating me from the claim that "We" stopped Igbos from seceding, when it was just the government of Gowon, using government troops. |
Redcrafton:There is nothing to deal with than to collect money and sell you the greatest dream and ambition of an Igbo man - which is to own a juicy plot of Yorubaland. That is how low your self esteem is. I reckon transport touts in Aba and Awka are Yorubas instead of the native Igbos? Your uncle that your apprenticeship is with has also told you the fable of how your village men bought all the land in Lagos? I am happy that the land in my region is so much cherished by the Igbo man such that it has become a thing of boast among Igbo men on who between Chibuzor and Emeka have more land in Yorubaland. If I may ask, how come no other tribe in Nigeria boast about land ownership on Igbo soil fraught with erosion? Why are you asking me about my business with NigerDelta? Why worry on behalf of those who have shown they are able to attain what you cannot attain? |
Redcrafton:I am only pained when I can no longer flatten the arrogance of a refugee. Until the day Yorubas become a vast refugee tribe in Igboland, I will continue to humble your type with the truth. If you had allowed NigerDelta republic go in 1966, you wouldn't have lost 3million to hunger by 1970, while trying to break a Nigeria that Azikiwe ensured would only be broken by war. Poetic Justice! How much is gala now on the streets of Yorubaland? Reply me and I will give you more water to drink. |
Redcrafton:Has that stopped your able bodied men from fleeing the East to be refugees in Yorubaland? Look at this "Mexican" poking fun at poverty in the Bronx and Queens, yet his brothers are still daily crossing the Rio Grande in search of greener pastures. |
Ezennwa:What exactly was brought? IPOB propaganda and lies? How is that news and which tribe are the refugees in the region of the other between Yorubas and Igbos? Your worry should be what the late Nnamdi Kanu brought upon the Igbos who have now become the butt of jokes all over the country, and are now regarded as mentally impaired clowns. |
It is now that Kano will suffer for its own inherited shortcomings. A large population who are under the shackles of religious culture, poverty and habitual disorderliness, is a recipe for chaos. People should not blame the Governor. If he did not succumb to the demands of a vast, hungry, and religious mob, it could have resulted to a toppling of the constitutional government. The same way such mobs have overran police stations to lynch suspects who have been accused of blasphemy. Don't blame the Governor, for without such illogical and irrational concessions, his regime would have ended before the next weekend. However, it is very promising seeing that most Northern governors are employing the current chaos as an opportunity to correct some of the archaic habits that have been previously resisted, like the Almajiri problem. As a sound administrator, never let an opportunity to employ a prevailing chaos to effect resisted change pass by. |

The Governor knows that Kano's version of 1million boys would not just attack the vulnerable residents, but would effect a statewide crises/uprising that will affect the rich and the political. So better to create a window of normal life to ease their discomfort. OK |
babajero:Who is she to say she doesn't have the virus, when she has tested positive and her result has been handed to her upon her request because of her state of denial? Nobody had said she has symptoms. It is not a new thing that the majority of those who have the virus showed no symptom for many days until they finally tested negative. Atiku's son tested positive for over 40days yet never showed any symptom till the very end, but was able to infect the governor of Bauchi state who even got well before Atiku's son finally tested negative. That woman wants to use her stupidity and stubbornness to affect other Nigerians, hence the need to go and isolate her by force in Abuja. Even if it takes 100days for her to test negative, she will never be freed to go and be spreading the virus, just because she does not have any of the symptoms. |
Generalnomercy:So this thing dey pain like this? See as your body dey shake and mucus dey comot from your nose enter your mouth. Where were you when Kanu and IPOB began the Buhari is dead propaganda? Where were you when IPOB released the fake pictures below showing Buhari on his death bed and the fake condolence message from the Queen of England? My brother, your agony as a hypocrite has just begun.

Abeyjide:I am also an employee, so I should be a fellow complainant. But I'm a rational human being. |
papaa4:It doesn't apply to those who work from home. I'm also an employee and a leader of my team. I know those who are working from home owing to social distancing needs in the work place, I know those who are just at home because there is reduced activity. So vacation days are being consumed accordingly. Only an insane personnel who has managed to survive the layoffs that the firm is currently executing, would demand that the forcefully consumed vacation days during the lockdown be returned to him/her when activity finally picks up in the near future with a reduced staff strength. |
Do you know why the Lagos state government always highlight the foreigners who have recovered from COVID-19? To serve as reassurance to those who think being in Nigeria is a death sentence concerning recovery from the virus, and to let the foreigners know they have an equal chance recovering here in Nigeria as they would in the developed world. |
As it is playing out now, anyone who has been able to keep their current job until Christmas 2020, really deserve to have a merry celebration. Hitherto very profitable companies are shedding weight fast and mercilessly. |
ChristineC:How? After weeks of unproductivity with pay, you want the company to still allocate productive time when the lockdown is over for their staff to still go relax at home? It is you who have no compassion for industry, enterprise and the national economy. |
Almost all multinational and IOC companies are already running down their staff's vacation days with the lockdown. No union dare complain about that if you still have a job when all of this is over. Anyone who has already fully consumed their vacation days can apply for extra days off in lieu of pay. |
TANTUMERGO007:Olodo? Was that really necessary? I said USA, I did not mention any name of any President or political party. Yet I am olodo? Is Obama not an American who was USA president? Is that not USA or is it Germany? Besides, the funding of $3.7m was made from 2014 to as recent as 2019, out of which the Trump administration still approved $700,000 in 2019. So please calm down on your Trump zombie defense, and Obama is a satanist Muslim mindset. USA is USA, regardless of who is POTUS. |

Its like what you see in Lekki and you GRAs....
. This lock down has already exposed who the real refugees are, na your people dey kill themselves over agege bread and constituting social nuisances with crime and the likes just to survive, for ordinary lock down ooo! Igbos survived 3 years of a bloody civil war with nothing to eat! yet your people can't last for just few months.
