OjukwuWarBird:Are those organizations and nations the ones that seat in the Nigerian parliament? And that those organizations and nations do not consider IPOB a terrorist organization, has it stopped the Nigerian government from treating IPOB like a terrorist group that has no rights in Nigeria? You need concentrated rehabilitation before your Eastern almajiri brain totally succumbs to mental hepatitis. |
Omeokachie:Thankfully, you did not claim any $26b was missing based on creative imagination of PDP propaganda. As for the points you raised, It is on record that President Buhari appointed Kachikwu as the Chairman of NNPC board, so if Baru claims that Buhari is the Chairman, then his head must be upside down. As for claims that FEC approved any of the recent contracts minus the ones approved during the Jonathan regime which does not concern Buhari/Kachikwu/Baru, was Kachikwu not a member of the Federal Executive Council when such were approved? Why didn't he voice his surprise then that he had no prior knowledge nor gave prior approval to the contracts before the FEC? Clearly Kachikwu and Baru have a superiority contest, but Kachikwu did not do his homework well before making allegations that can be easily defeated technically by counter rules governing government business. |
unohbethel:I thought the contracts in question already had FEC approval? Or is NNPC board senior to the FEC? Also, it's been reported that such contracts require approval of the minister of petroleum (Buhari), and not that of the NNPC board chaired by Kachikwu. So where is the fraud and did Kachikwu state in his memo that any money was missing? Why are you trying to force words into Kachikwu's mouth? |
Whatever the legitimate government chooses to do with the properties of a fleeing terrorist is no business of mine. If the terrorists is so enamoured with his properties, let him return from Abidjan and collect it. |
So OP is even Kanu's sister? No wonder you are mentally challenged. I can see Pastor Kumuyi's programme banner in the picture uploaded. While Kumuyi's message has remained in the SouthEast despite Kanu's threats, Kanu himself has fled and nobody dare raise a Biafran flag in that village. Irony of life! As for the news report, Whatever the legitimate government chooses to do with the properties of a fleeing terrorist is no business of mine. If the terrorist is so enamoured with his properties, let him return from Abidjan and collect it. |
Common sense no wan lead the charge again. Has he brought about any reasonable change in the Senate since he got there? It is easy to make boasts while not on the hot seat. Bola Ige and Fashola know what I'm talking about. Adams Oshiomhole certainly knows the difference between a labour leader asking for improved work conditions and salary increase, versus a government who has many needs to fulfil simultaneously. |
AnodaIT:Again I repeat, Thankgod Diamond Bank is owned by an Igbo, yet they facilitated her appointment with a promotion you have alleged was not merited. A promotion that was necessary to secure a CBN job that some tribal bigots believe she was offered based on her tribe and not based on merit. An allegation you have tried to further with your expose. Thanks for your effort. |
AnodaIT:Thankgod Diamond bank is owned by an Igboman and managed by Igbos. So you are saying an Igboman allowed this abracadabra to happen? Why will Diamond bank promote a Northerner to a position she is not qualified, in a bid to take up a CBN appointment that is the uncontested birthright of the Igbos? |
aolawale025:It is PDP like you that are looking for $26b when no stakeholder ever claimed any money was missing. The debate is about authority to approve contracts of certain financial value, not whether anyone stole money or not. Use your brain, it is your right not a privilege. |
“Secondly, in a letter dated June 26, 2015, the BPP clarified a clause regarding the power of the NNPC Tenders Board (and not the NNPC Board) to award contracts without recourse to the Minister of State. On the singular matter of the awarded contracts to the tune of $25B, I hereby tender an unreserved apology to Baru. Kachikwu may have his points as regards insubordination, but I put the blame squarely on Buhari who has created this ambiguous atmosphere of him being the De Jure Minister, while Kachikwu is the De Facto Minister. As for PDP and its shameless horde of apologists, continue looking for money the author of the memo never claimed was missing. You are too desperate to have some other party and government share company with the misery you find yourselves for all the scam contracts of the PDP regime, and all the missing funds that this regime is not excavating from your earthly vaults. |
legitnow:So Ojukwu married Femi Fani-Kayode's left over? I wonder the love that Biafra will inculcate after all the hatred and Tribal Nazism? |
nototribalist:Please remember to put on your thinking cap when you awake in the morning. |
The internet age managed to kill journalism ethics. Already, Kaduna state did it and I told the Governor, please export whatever you have in Kaduna and bring here. What is pulling this country down is our mouths and mindset. People just sit down at one corner and start to destroy people and cook up all kinds of things you cannot prove. We know that this is democracy but he that comments must prove his or her point and we must insist on that. The courts are there to prove our points and strengthen democracy. Anybody who stays at the corners of his/her house to accuse you, that person must be fished out to prove it. |
PointZerom:So you are finally called an Afonja also? Hahahahahaha! I laugh in Biafra, because it is the country that will reproduce the Nazism of Hitler in the search for the pure Igbo. |
Why is PDP and it's apologist so desperate for money to be missing? Is it the case of misery loving company? Is PDP tired of being associated with missing money that it is desperately looking for an accomplice who would make their own factually missing money suddenly turn a normal acceptable occurrence? Or how does Contracts not being awarded as per due process, turn to money is missing when we know where it is? |
Hofbrauhaus:You have increased from $25B contracts to $26B missing to $28B missing? PDP, shame on you. Stop spreading false information. Rule 8. |
Too many PDP faithfuls hoping hopelessly that money is missing like under their own regime. |
When Lere still had ere. |
Amarabae:But I fail to see Ojukwu in the picture? |
Hahahahahaha! He returned to Nigeria to resume in the Fulani party that had mercy on him. I had long stated that Kanu was the new affliction wrought on the Igbos for a second round of misery and agony. Now even his village men have asked that his father be dethroned and banished for bringing agony to their land with his irresponsible son. While Kanu was calling on his zombies to come and die for him in his village, he was perfecting his own plans to escape out of same village. Indeed! How are the mighty fallen! |
I totally agree. As long as there is a binding directive not to award any contract above $20m without the approval of the board, and Kachikwu can indeed proof that such contracts as alleged were awarded unilaterally by the NNPC GMD, then Baru is headed for the same jail hospitality that Bode George enjoyed. |
This is what happens when a people have decided they want to suffer. Bye bye to the once thriving autonomous region of Catalonia in Spain. Welcome to the pariah state that will soon rival failed African states in economic indices. Big corporations are already moving their offices from the Catalonian region. The Catalonian parliamentary session billed for next Monday has been nullified by the Spanish courts. Article 155 will soon fall on Catalonia and the previously enjoyed autonomy they have taken for granted will soon become a privileged political status to long for. |
Ratello:Did a referendum hold? Who regards it as valid? Is it Spain, EU or UN that regards it? Is this the kind of illegal referendum that Scotland had that was widely celebrated without any rancour, but was voted down by the Scottish people? “We know that there may be disbarments, arrests, but we are prepared, and in no case will it be stopped,” she said on Twitter. |

mavinc4u:Kachikwu's grouse is that the NNPC GMD took unilateral decisions in situations where a board decision was required. He went on to give instances where contracts where awarded without board approval that is required if contract value is more than $20m. These contracts awarded unilaterally, totalled $25B No where did Kachikwu claim that money is missing or should have accrued but did not enter NNPC accounts a la Diezani-Omokore-Aluko deals. No where did Kachikwu claim those contracts are ghost contracts, but that the due process was not followed, which may actually be an attempt at perpetrating corruption. Kachikwu is simply saying Baru is insubordinate, amongst other accusations. |
ICEFLAME419ja:Certain plain matters are beyond the understanding of the spiteful. Did Kachikwu state that monies were missing or that the board was not consulted before contracts, that he never said where ghost contracts, were awarded? Your problem is you are pretending to be sleeping, so I won't waste my time trying to wake you up. |
bpalace:Don't try to act ignorant. The monies stated to be missing by Sanusi during GEJ's regime was for REVENUE (inflow not outflow) that ought to have accrued to the NNPC for sales of petroleum resources and petroleum assets. For instance, the likes of Omokore who were allocated certain petroleum assets by Diezani, did not make the due payments into NNPC purse. Inflow that was captured to have occured contractually did not occur financially. This is totally different from someone saying NNPC truly awarded contract for projects (outflow), but did so without consulting the board. |
Buhari should act fast to redeem what is left of his anti-corruption image. Lastly, where did Kachikwu allege that $26B is missing? He said contracts totalling $25b were awarded without consulting the board. He did not say the contracts were not awarded, nor did he say NNPC cannot account for $25B. As for the matters he raised, the president should look into them, to rescue his own legacy. |
Kazim88:Like they also backed the referendum in Catalonia that was conducted by a constitutionally recognised democratic regional government that has autonomy? Does the UN supervise referendum for every social club, pressure group and terrorist organization that wants a referendum while an active and recognised democratic government exist in that very region? Is it so difficult to wake up from a delusion? |
