Estorico: Hello Nairalanders, please that BOSS Resources are thieves.I have been there.I was there last month percisely. They will ask you to pay registration fee of 8000naira before becomming a member.Though its a real company but thieves they are. They are advertise health products.Move from one company to the other looking for clients like marketers.Myself and three other people nearly fought with a man called Dele their coordinator. When I got there around 2pm cos that was when I was scheduled for an interview, after educating us into what they are into,we wanted to ask questions but were told until we say yes that we are interested before we can ask questions about them. Can you just imagine? From the lecture,I told myself that I can't do such cos how will I pay 8000 before I can ask questions. As at that time,it was raining.I turned it down, not only me with some three four other persons.Simply becos we turned down their offer,we were kicked out of the building becos we said no to them and as at that time there was heavy downpour of rain. They didn't even allow us to stay at their corridor sinve it was raining but they rather asked us to leave.A man that turned down their offer, wanted to fight with their coordinator called MR Dele I must mention his name cos he is so rude and insultive.the man said he was going to write about them.We had to plead with the man and left their premises. That was my experience with BOSS Resources a.k.a Wellness Homethanks for the info.... I got a text message detailing an interview on monday 17th by 2pm at awolowo way, ikeja..... I know better now |

so painful that the people who fought against military rule are not enjoying the dividends of democracy...... Where were the north during the fight for democracy? Now, they think to rule Nigeria is their birth right... rubbish.... NADECO and other activism were limited to the south........... Were was big mouth atiku, buhari, annenihs and co |
this mirrors the World bank case, where the then president, promoted his office girl friend above other more qualified candidates |
1. The Nigerian police are useless bunch of cowards, even if you give them Caterpillar they will wreck it under few months. For this I think the Nigerian police needs specially made cars/suvs like HUMMER JEEP. If they can wreck very strong vehicles like Toyota Hilux, I wonder what would become of these Kia cars within the next few months. Kia is not that strong as we all know. 2. I would have loved the governor to purchase locally made Innoson brand but its on record no other state governor patronizes The Innoson brand more than The Enugu State Government. 3. Innoson should stop relying on the government for patronage. His vehicles are good and he needs to start marketing/advertising his products to West Africans. This is just about the only company that does not do any kind of marketing or advertising at all. Most Nigerians do not even know this company exist, its only on Nairaland most people got to know about Innoson.
true talk |

Afam4eva: But what majority of people like is the best in that clime.you are right in a way........ But the main issue on ground is the un-necessary arguments based on triviality which has anchorage on the genre of tribalism and sentiments. I personally prefer Achebe but that does not mean Achebe is better than Soyinka ( i cant give an answer on that). That is left for literary critics and prima donnas to judge......... But all I can say is that i have a particular affinity towards Achebe's works |
all they need is a standard Artillery Bombardment....... ODECHE KO.... ODECHE NI... Rat no dey claim right of way with cat (permit me to break section 21) |
Afam4eva: You have made very valid points but i don't agree with the Ikebe super example. If Ikebe Super sells more than any other song, it simply means it's the best in that particular clime. if you don't think so, then tell me how we determine what's best and what's not?the answer is very subjective.............. what I like, you may not like................... |
Some comments on this forum will make you question the value of the commentator's education? Some facts that should not be disputed by any intelligent mind are as follows: 1) The fact that a writer sells billions of his book does not make him the best! It is a very naive classification. Even 'Ikebe Super' can sell a billion copy if the story is interesting and appealing to people! What an argument? 2) 'Father of African Literature' is quite different from 'Father of Modern African Literature.' While a wise man will differentiate both, an unwise man will not even spot the difference. 3) Everybody is entitled to his opinion. 4) A rational man will always respect the opinion of a fellow human being. 5) An aggressive man will always desire to suppress the opinions of others once they conflict with his. 6) The greatness of both Soyinka and Achebe is too much to be devalued by any Nobel Prize. 7) The fact that a man won Nobel Prize does not make him superior to his colleague! The greatness of Achebe and Soyinka is too much to be devalued or evaluated by the majority of the people on this Forum, especially based on their line of reasoning! |
