Full GA corners in and out of state tuition.
And monthly stipends takes care of the rest living expenses. But because Tennessee has higher cost of living , the stipends is not sufficient.

NIU is different . They offer stipends high enough to cover the cost of living and DeKalb has a low cost of living compared to Tennessee.

So there are lots of intricacies you must consider.

Full Funding must not have zero deficits.

Don't confuse English language biko. You are free to view it that way. Any offer that has deficit is not full funding.

It differs from school to school.

Some schools pay stipends and waive out of state tuition, meaning you will pay instate tuition. Some waive the tuition fees and pay partial stipends. Some give full tuition and full stipends that covers living expenses. I won't say full funding when there is deficit.

Predstan:
No Full Funding doesn’t mean no deficit . You can have a full funding with deficits. Your stipend might be so low to absorb your living expenses. Once you have a full tuition waiver(instate and out-of-state), its a full funding.

You don't call it full funding when you have deficit. It's not full. Don't argue it. Call it full tuition and partial stipends.

For those considering Spring and Fall 20

Get the IVY or get the Funding.

That's the only way out !

Haba just say it's the easiest way out, not the only way. Some might be discouraged with that statement. It's not everyone that will get into IVY league or get funding. Some programs are so hot that it's not easy to get funding in those programs.

Only if there is no huge withdrawals after printing the new one. This is the reason we advice people to go with a very recent statement of account.

Then you will have to pay another visa fee if cancel this one. You can call embassy to ask if they can edit it for you, also write them through the feedback box in your cgi account.

I completed my 4 years Bachelors degree in the US, graduated and did 1 year OPT (did only 9 months), I had to come back early this year before the end date on my EAD due to health reasons.

My school gave me a direct admission to the masters program with partial scholarship . I can choose to start in the fall or spring and even deferr to a later time.

Now is it advisable to apply for the visa for the fall being that I have only spent 4 months in Nigeria or should I do NYSC first before applying to show non-immigrant intent?

Somebody from my school said to do NYSC first which I have registered for. Also, I’m not in a hurry. I’m still recovering.

If you haven't recovered well. Please recover fully before embarking on another journey. Health and safety first before any other thing. You can start your nysc to while away time while you recover. USA is always there anytime you want to go.

There is no need for that, tuition deposit is always a small amount.

Cancel your appointment, you have one lifeline If you haven't cancelled before. Then rebook another appointment with same old receipt

When I asked if NU is a red flag school I wasn't expecting the answer he gave me. A simple it is not a red flag school would have been ideal. To say I'm not ready for grad school or I am suppose to have done research isn't an answer. Thank you.

Actually, I did both, and for the 100-400l, I got 3.62 while for the last two years, I got 3.71. Meanwhile, the school I am eyeing said the average GPA for their admitted schools is 3.71, so I am kinda confused on the particular method they used to get the '3.71'

Using GPA of your last two academic session is common in Canadian schools, Only Few schools in USA use that. Try use your overall GPA

Looking at the bolded, something in your statement of account triggered the refusal. You need to examine it well. If possible get a new Statement of account and refire.

You need to check lump deposit over a small period of time, they frown at it most times.

If this is the opening balance, my analysis earlier is wrong. You have sufficient funds in the account. Don't know if there is lump sum that might have triggered V.O attention. They frown at lump sum too

You have to add the opening balance to the difference between the total credit and total debit to get the current balance on the account.

He didn't include the opening balance of the period, which should be at about 32 million. Credit and Debit flow as we no only accounts for inflow and outflow. Except if you are saying they pay less attention to the opening balance of the account

Infact,I used it to request my i-20 in April and the available balance was correct when I checked that time on this.
I will have him speak with the AO to check this.

Did you go to the bank to collect the statement of account yourself?
