heeedreeez: Uncle had about total of 40k closing balance from two personal accts... Like i said. Funding is the issue here. If they minus 39k$ from your uncle's money, what will remain? So he should survive with 1k$ just cos he wants to sponsor you? You are not even his child for him to spend that huge on you. 60k$ and above Statement of account would have been better. |

Is it just one payment made by your bro that's there? A 6months bank statement should have other transactions running on it. Ask your bro if that's how Italy own is. Get more clarification from him |

Brown2Green: Lol That's where lots of people miss it. WES and ECE are all under the ICES.. International Credential Evaluation Services..
Look up on the school's website and you'll see WES or any evaluation under the ICES.
You can confirm it from the website or better still, mail the graduate school.
So as well, visit the ECE website . I wonder where you got this from. ICES is for canada |

Pascopele: We have 7.8Billion people on this planet earth.
Women = 5.6Billion Men = 2.2Billion
So, you see my sister think twice before giving attitudes to any man because out of the 2.2 Billion men:
• One billion are married already.
• 130,000 are in the prison.
• 70,000 are mentally ill.
That means that we have just 1 billion men available for marriage and out of the 1billion:
• 50% are jobless • 3% are gay • 5% are Catholic Priests • 10% are your relatives • 35% are above 66years
So, ladies both the married and singles, you have to rethink before treating any man like trash.
Source: United Nations This is a wrong statistics The number of men and women in the world is roughly equal, though men hold a slight lead with 102 men for 100 women (in 2015). More precisely, out of 1,000 people, 504 are men (50.4%) and 496 are women (49.6%). |

You don't have to pick another appointment date. You just edit the ds 160 number on your appointment page. |

A guy here went for his Visa and this is the transcript. I have his permission to post.
V.O: Good morning Me: Good morning V.O: Pass me your passport and I-20 Me: obliged V.O: you are going to UTA for what Me: masters degree in chemistry V.O: did you apply to other schools Me: mention the two other schools, IIT and Auburn V.O: where do yo live Me: Port Harcourt V.O: what did you graduate with at University of Ilorin Me: first-class V.O: have you had any issues with the police or any law enforcement before Me: replied No V.O: where do you live Me: I answered Port Harcourt, he nods and said correct V.O: where do you work Me: told him XYZ limited in PH Baba dropped my passport and gave me white paper, told me he had to check something and placed it on AP.
According to him, he said he can't check the status until after 60 days.
He said he has no relatives in US.
He also said his records are clean.
What can he do to perhaps hasten the process? What could have caused it? Has there any similarly case and how did the process go?
Any other help will be appreciated.
Fairheart, LagosismyHome, time2win, walspring, bracelum, please everybody. I have discussed with this fellow before. There is nothing he can do, he should just let the V.O do their background checks. Only them knows what they are checking |

Predstan: You cannot do this anymore when you have 3 days to your interview. Else, you will be turned back at the Embassy. Was my post talking about 3days to your interview? By the way, if the option to edit the DS-160 number is not there on your appointment portal, you can contact the embassy to change it for you (someone has done that 48hrs to his interview). You can as well reschedule your interview. |
Travel › Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 14 by Time2win(m): 4:56am On May 28, 2019 |
Brown2Green: As far as you've not submitted your DS 160. If you've submitted it, anything you change can stand stand against you . You can submit ds 160 and still go ahead and change something by filling a fresh one. You can fill up to 100 different ds 160 with different details, it won't stand against you if you didn't interview with it. It's only the ds 160 number they used in interviewing that they will leave on your profile and it count against you if you change anything during your second interview asumming you weren't given visa in the first attempt. If you have submitted your ds 160 and feel you made a mistake, you can fill a fresh one and change it with the old one you have on your appointment page. The unused ones (the one you weren't interviewed with) even if submitted will be deleted after 30days from the system. |

sconp: I can, especially with the description she gave of the lady (young and mid twenties), if na one baba now I fit lock up.
Look at it this way, with the way interview was going, the poster was already expecting a blue paper. So what else was there to lose?
BTW, when I mean I'll correct the VO it doesn't have to be aggressively. It wasn't just about the shut up but the whole attitude. Different strokes for different folks
Congrats to the poster though Unless you are willing to lose the visa for the correction you are about to give her. The poster was just calm all the shut up, the V.O felt she did bad and in other to compensate her wrong, she approved him. That's if she truly said shut up as the poster said. For the sake of visa, best is to swallow the insult as far as you get what you want. |

bracelum: A number 1 ranked school does not mean they are the best in all fields. In the US, there are liberal arts universities, engineering universities and natural science universities. Liberal arts universities have the best social science programs but not as good science/engineering programs. Same applies to every other university in every bracket.
There is no US university that is the best on all three fronts. Each university chooses to focus where their strength lies
So, I don't see an issue with Harvard having strong liberal arts programs and still being among the top 25 engineering schools. It doesn't still stop them from being the best university in the US (alongside Stanford). You can never be a master of everything. Again, top 25 in the US is still very good for a university that doesn't focus much on engineering as they do in other areas.
Despite that, the engineering school at Harvard still attracts better talent than most of the engineering schools ranked between 10th and 20th. In fact, there are some graduate programs at Harvard Engineering with average GRE scores around 330 (this data is not on their website but from my own research).
The fact that you're an engineering student doesn't mean you know engineering programs in the US better than me. I do my research and I don't talk trash. Master of all programs. Clap for yourself Is Harvard offering all the core engineering programs for both MSc and PhD? Must you talk trash always? Engineering is not for Harvard and it's obvious. You have even answered yourself |
Travel › Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 14 by Time2win(m): 7:43pm On May 26, 2019 |
bracelum: Lol, Harvard's Engineering is ranked among the top 25 in the US. But they still attract better talent than a lot of schools placed higher than them. A look at their class profiles will tell you. So, don't say what you don't know.
Harvard is Harvard dude! The brand and the network there covers you even if you study the least marketable course.
A top 25 school is an elite school, not a bad school For a school ranked number 1 in USA to be ranked 21 in engineering shows that they are not really good in it. Don't come here and preach epistle. I have friends there and those in MIT too. By the way I am an engineering student, I know what I am saying with the research i have done. Harvard is a big name on its own and that's the glory they are using. Also they have few engineering programs (about 3 or so). Engineering is not for them |

thank You How is this a confusing question? Say the number of schools you applied to. Why confusing yourself |
