Congratulations. I do hope and pray you carry to term and have a successful delivery.

Pray tell, what did you do differently and was it donor egg and donor sperm you used this time?
Am 44yrs+ , so opted for donor eggs and sperm ( my partner's has a low sperm count ) .

The first 2 at a diff hospital, they were too choked with patients to give proper instructions. It was at the 2nd hospital I was told the buserelin injection was to be taken via my stomach and not buttocks.

For the one that was successful, I was told to take just avocado pear and watermelon but avoid pineapple and citrus .

Its good then, do you have their contact pls? Let me see if they are online.

Thanks so much!

Thanks ma.
What I did different was plenty oooo. I ate more of veggies and fruits before the cycle. I also took organic chamomile tea someone recommended me that helps to relax the uterus. I drank the tea every night for one month before the cycle. And stop immediately I started the procedure.
I slept over in the clinic after transfer. I made sure I stayed for 24hrs in hospital bed after transfered except when I stood up to use the toilet. I was off from work throughout my tww till now.. No bath for 3day. No house chores no matter how easy it was. Just resting on the bed and gently walked around my flat every 1hr for 5mins for blood circulation. I eat banana ,avocado and almond seed all through tww till now. I made sure I stayed upto 5hrs after progesterone insert at night before using the toilet. I drank 7 sachets of water from morning till 6pm. Then sip one sachet from 6pm till I went to bed . The intention was to reduce my frequentl urination at night That was how I slept for 5hrs every night before using the toilet unlike the previous cycles. Above all , I was positive. I prayed like never before. No time to entertain negative thought in my mind. I was positive all through and God answered me. I only did pt on day 13 after transfer and I saw the two lines and the blood test was carried out at the clinic on day 14:and I was confirmed pregnant. I can't thank God enough. I pray may God visit everyone here that are believing God for this gift.
Thanks for your prompt reply.

I have picked a thing or two also from other people's post, one major problem I have is sitting at a spot for hours since I work from home .I am working on my diet too; I love ice cream and chocolate to a fault embarassed. God help me ooo

It is well with you Dear. These two hospitals have good success rates with their donor cycles. I know quite a number of people who succeeded with them after several failures in other places. Someone testified of triplets here sometime ago from prime, after several failures as well. She didn't do anything special or extra personally. She didn't even do the much talked-about hysteroscopy or endometrial scratch. Just relax and commit everything to God. It will end in praise.
For your peace of mind though, just read back as Bunny has advised.
Thank You.

I have been reading back now in Page 306 ( read backwards).

Good Morning ladies... wonderful feeling of hope I got reading this thread since 3am. I couldnt sleep because my result was negative for the 2nd trial. I need help, what next because I am really confused right now. Although I was told to repeat the test on Fri but you the the salty taste of the mouth and drowsiness is no more . Is there still hope or I need just to move on and prepare for another , hopefully in another clinic.

Note: I am 44yrs so used both donor eggs and sperm
So I started bleeding yesterday.

I have contacted both Joje and Prime, I need advise pls on what I need to do to ensure success next time . Pls Mamas , help me.

Hi Mamas,

I am in between picking an hospital for my ivf ' Prime care and Fertilaid .
Have spoken to both of them and seems they know their onions.

But your recommendations and proms can also help me with the final selection.

Travelling down from the southwest Oyo state.

This is the second IVF journey after failed iui and ivf from Ayomide Osogbo without a cogent reason for failure.

Thank you mamas.
Hello, can you send me a DM pls? Am currently in the same situation, can we rub minds? ... Let me know when seen so as to modify this post. Thanks

E-hugs to you dear. I understand this feeling because I also had two failed cycles before my success. The clinic I used also makes you repeat the test after a week. I didn't bother repeating the test after the second failure. I reckoned that 14 days post transfer was enough for any positive to show strongly. I just moved on. How many days after transfer did you do the test? Also was it blood or urine test?

My turning point came when I changed clinics. You may want to consider that strongly. If you haven't done hysteroscopy, you may also want to consider that to ensure that there is no obstacle in the walls of your uterus.

Best wishes dear.
14days, which was on Monday, I did both blood and urine.

Yes , I want to switch hospital so having gone through the thread I saw 2 highly recommended ones; Primecare & Joje. I will appreciate all guidance henceforth. Thanks so much!

Yes there is hope do not give up
What was your lining on day of transfer? Have you tried using prednisone, low dose aspirin and clexane for your transfer. Clexane and prednisone helps with immune issues that can affect implantation
Make sure your doctor investigates for recurrent implantation failure
Because it’s not the egg since it’s from a younger woman.
Good morning and thanks for your reply!

The lining was good 10 something and I was given prednisone which I have been using religiously.
After the 1st one failed, the Dr went through my records and said it shouldnt have . Here I am again cry
