Hello mamas. It's my first time on this thread, I have nowhere else to post this.
My baby was born light skinned from birth with dark ears. His ears have since brightened up to his face whilst his body is dark.
I have bought baby black soap and body butter online to get his whole body to have one color but it's not working.
He is already 3 months, is this normal? His father is light skinned and I'm on the dark side.

My second question, how do mummys here dispose their babies diapers? I have truckload of use ones in the house, my mum doesn't want me to dispose it off to the waste management people cos of fear of using baby diapers for juju

To the 2nd question, I burn them in the refuse pit. If you don't have one , then dig a small hole and burn ( that's if it's your own compound ) if not look for a metal bucket to do it .

Yes I had to during the medical history .l have had previous IVF treatments just couple of months ago but different clinic .I paid the clinic in naira.Now l know better will be using only nigeria sim for any communication

I know someone who disclosed to Prime.care she was abroad and was charged normal rate . You need to disclose so that you can plan your coming with them except you have ample time on your hands.

How can I lose this belly fat biko , I couldn't tie or do exercise then because I did CS. Now my tummy look like am still pregnant )-: . I need suggestions pls .

Like I did say in the qouted post that our baby arrived yesterday and we were billed to be discharged today's afternoon.

Unfortunately, our precious gift developed high temperature yesterday night. Wifey noticed it when she wanted to breastfeed him.
And in a blink of an eye, he developed a difficult in breathing. We thought it was a cold and a nurse used nose extractor on him. Yes, small muccour particles were removed from his nostrils but his breathing rate became more scary. You know that kind of breathing that comes with noice as if one just finished a long race. This went on till this morning.

The doctor, on his arrival, did try to salvage the situation but no improvement. The temperature came down to normal level bit the breathing difficulty continue. He hurriedly reffered us to UCH (Peadeartrics A&E) and my boy has been under O2 since afternoon.

Buying of 02, payment for series of Lab Tests, buying of long list of materials from pharmacy etc. Wifey is emotionally down already! She's combining the pains of tears she had plus the fact that her baby will be away from her for as long as God knows. I am not also fine but just trying to be a man.

God please come to our aid ooo

Aww, there is a God who knows the beginning and the ending of everything. He saw how you painstakingly conceive this child which was brought forth few days ago. He knows this child has come to stay , to give your home joy , laugher, peace and hope it deserved . Know that it is settled , come back with testimony soon

Good evening house, I’m here to solicit for your prayers. I have suffered on this pregnancy like none of my previous pregnancies and I don’t want to lose it. I’m abroad. I did a scan in 6 weeks and I was told all is well with a single baby, but it is compulsory here to have a 1st trimester scan between the 11th-14th week. I went in for my scan today and we were told we are expecting twins same placenta and sac(mono twins). The doctor said one is fine and the other has fluid around the neck and little fluid in the lungs(almost same weight ) and termed healthy* I do not want to say otherwise *. She said because they carry the same genes, they are likely to be both affected so she scheduled another scan for 2 weeks time to check for improvement in the affected twin. And to check both babies at 16weeks for any abnormal chromosomes. If found, then, we may need to consider termination. I rejected it termination because I’ve read a lot of people say they were told same while they birthed their babies being healthy and fine. I’m lost, confused and all. I just need your prayers. We are 11weeks 3days today. The fear of losing one is heartbreaking while the fear of both is mind and soul wrecking. Please house, put us in your prayers. I regretted opting for the test at some point because the tension is too much because knowing will change absolutely nothing.

Oh my !! May God take control and reverse any negative complications in Jesus name...

Also in the same category. I'm 34 weeks today, but my scan date is ahead and they are calculating based on the scan. They have even booked me for induction a week before the scan date. Their reason is that they don't allow anyone above 39/40 years to reach 40 weeks to avoid still birth. I'm scared 😭

I birthed via ELCS @38 weeks BC I was 45yrs. It's the best option to avoid stories that touch . My friend in the UK wanted to convince me to do vir.ginal delivery but I resisted her . Not at my age biko

Thank God for your testimony. I agree that multiple egg retrievals gives peace of mind. I just wish to implant multiple embryo for twins (if possible) instead of starting over. My doctor has said no! It seems like US doctors follow a textbook manual/script without much deviation to the patient's needs. Four months in and we've only completed genetic testing and waiting on hubby's semen analysis. Testing alone has taken 4 months. I'm currently in counseling for Anemia. Well, they say, whatever is worth doing at all, is worth doing well.

Us don't transfer more than 1.

Before my implantation; I did a Catholic prayer called NOVENA. I did Novena to St Gerald who is a saint for expectant mothers & Novena to Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. I did them for 9 days & I prayed my rosary everyday for that 9 days preceding my implantation.

While I was on the table for my implantation; I held unto my rosary & was professing “Oh Mary help my embryo to implant!! Oh Mary Help me! Oh Mary help my embryo to implant!! I kept uttering that prayer until the procedure was over.

Fast forward to 14 days later, they did a pregnancy test & they said it was negative. My husband prophesied & said “ their lab test is wrong” ; the embryo implanted!! I have faith in God. In my mind, I said “look at this dreamer! It’s over. We would have to start all over.

The Dr told me to stop the progesterone injection I was taking and also stop the Estradol pill I was taking & inserting into the vagina. Stopping the progesterone was a big relief cos my buttock was swollen & ice pack wasn’t even helping.

The Dr told me that we’d be booked to go thru another round of IVF. I told my husband that we’d have to look for a new fertility center cos this one was the worst.

My husband said he’s not going thru IVF again that the trauma is too much. It was really too much. From the injections to the transvaginal ultrasounds; HSG, several labs & so on. He said “that is too much”. He saw the toll it had on me. I lost myself.

Well, while I was sourcing money to start another journey this year, lo & behold I was pregnant. We didn’t know that the embryo implanted.


After I stopped taking the progesterone, I saw my period s& my husband was transferred to another State where he stayed till for 3 months without coming home & I was seeing my period throughout.

The day he came home, we ML (Ed) & after that I started having abdominal pain & was bleeding even though I saw my period like 2 weeks before so I went to the hospital & they didn’t scan & saw that I was 12+ weeks pregnant. I thought I had fibroid cos my stomach was getting big a little. Imagine the shock of my life.

Long story short. I carried the baby to term & delivered my baby.

I believe that IVF is a spiritual journey that needs God & divine intervention. Mine is still a shocker cos ppl are like “u were supposed to take progesterone for 3 months or else u will miss carry the pregnancy “. Or how were u seeing ur period or this or that. Well I tell them “all I know is that I invoked divinity & it came thru for me.


Even after my implantation, I did another NOVENA to our lady of Perpetual help. Prayer really works. When God gives u a testimony, it won’t make sense. This is one of those testimonies.

Please help me. I am in great pain, my left breast has been paining me seriously I tried feeling it but there's no lump, I started taking antibiotics (Donyflox-500) and pain relief (ibuprofen -400mg) yesterday in the morning and the pain is yet to subside

For diapers, go for softcare or Yara. They're good.
Soap, I prefer Agnesia soap.
Lotion, I go natural. Jimpo Ori for baby is sweet.
If you don't want to go natural, Johnson baby lotion is good too.

I just had my treatment there and I'm telling her what I paid. I stayed there but no privacy. 4 people in a room. It's not a hotel. They have private rooms for 20ƙ. You can share with someone and pay 10k.
