Nigerians can know there is problem when even government is outsourcing for staff. Directly or indirectly, I still feel Cleaner Lagos Initiative is responsible. After years of paying fees higher than normal to patrons who own SSML and vision scope, its now they found out they can no longer pay more than 2500? What did they expect? The company fetching staff for you would always inflate salaries so as to get a fat cut.

I am angry. I am not angry because people went to prison or not. I an angry because people like the writer of the article who are paid to engineer propagandas are actually dumb.

First and foremost, the Judiciary reserves the authority to jail law breakers not the executive. Hence, Buhari had nothing to do with the convictions.

Secondly, of all the names mentioned above, only three convictions areca identifiable amongst them, yet the writer blatantly made a long list of those reprimanded for a week during trial or those awaiting trials totally.

Thirdly, it is a common adage that 'charity begins at home'. majority of those in the present political dispensation enjoyed the largesse from the previous regimes...if Buhari was serious about his fight against corruption, his federal cabinet wouldn't consist of alleged looters like Rotimi Ameachi, Chris Ngige and Babatunde Fashola amongst them others.


On a final note, I am angry because the fight against corruption was one of the foundations of the Buhari campaign prior the 2015 elections. Today, the issue of corruption is not showing any signs of diminishing. The body language of our President has shown that he truly never intended to fight corruption(probably handicapped by constitutional and legislative procedures which his team should have worked on to find ways to make amends and make it work for the regime). I am angry because this June 16 2018 and the 2018 budget is yet to be passed. Where is the accountability in that? Anyone can be charged to court, but if no one is punished, we might as well mortgage this country and give the proceeds to the 1%.

it is appalling how many people reason around here. The report is simply one sided. Because of the peculiar nature of NK and its leader, USA and Trump would have the same fears and surely would take same or double measures.
