ThothHermes:only jorginho would have played as many minutes as ndidi and that's not because he is good...just because of sarri's pride and sentiment. fenandino may be better than ndidi, but u kinda miss the point which is that ndidi is good and consistent and should av been one of the best 11 in Africa at the last awards. |
if u have hbp it will do u well to avoid this game. |
I am no IBO... But if I was, I might applaud the sentiment being whipped up by the reverend and his ilk. However, as a christian, I would be wary of such gatherring. A christian leader should not be found being tribalistic, it defeats the whole purpose. If the seed my preacher is sowing is that of hatred and division where there's no need of it, i would be worried and might and might avoid church altogether. Shame on the leadership of the Anglican Church if those involved in this are not called together. Let politics be of individual preference, do not allow the church be a tool for partisan politics and especially, bigotry. |

Jiang:Of what help has our 200million plus population been? |

If I say I no tire for this country, I just dey deceive myself. No day goes by without a corruption scandal coming up. Yet all these cases are never truly settled. Once certain people n certain quarters get a cut from these illegal proceeds, the case dies a sudden death only to be revisited by those arguing at newspaper stands. Yet daily, more youths enter the labour market as fresh graduates, many more losing their unfortunately previously underpaying jobs due to unfavourable economic policies. Shey na like dis we go dey dey? Burna boy sums up my mind sha...when y'all are ready to battle the government for a true revolution... not here on the internet as I type now, but out there in the streets, in their offices in their lofty homes, sign me up please. #UnfortunateCountry |
For all of you attacking Atiku, maybe it's time you sat up. This one Atiku is paying everyone, maybe if we specialized in one thing or the other, we might get a hefty pay day from him as well. As for me, I am working towards the next four years. Atiku must pay me. #confirmationNaMust! |
This is one of the very few instances the Nigerian populace don't mind seeing the Nigerian Army exercise their excesses. Even after paying for the windscreen, I bet there are many who still wish that the soldier called his colleagues and actually drilled those cowards in black. I for one still harbour that wish. I think Nigerians generally have a distrust for anything armed forces in Nigeria and of course, the Nigerian police is at the top of that list. Their corruption is only matched by their ineptitude. Effing Bastards!!! |
Frankly, it is very appalling and highly embarrassing. We import everything in this country, even quality television has to be imported. Sometimes when I see/hear people argue about how dstv is reaping Nigerians off, I just ignore and move on. There is a clear lack of innovation amongst our TV station owners. Many of them have remained almost as they started out. For the election result collation, that hall is another height of corruption in how INEC handled the billions it got to conduct the 2019 elections. Many secondary schools in Nigeria have better looking halls. Why should we be subjected to such gory sights. One way I think these stations can sit up is if Cable TV can become cheaper, then MAYBE when they notice no one is watching local TV again, those who wish to remain in business will be forced to sit up. |
blackpanda:Rightly said. |
True immortalizing anyone from the Civil War won't bring anyone of them back neither does it automatically solve any of the problems bedeviling Nigeria or any other country that has faced something similar for that matter. However, for purpose of healing and reconciliation, countries do these remembrance. Nigeria should not be any different. If we say the Civil war was a test of Nigeria's resolve to remain one indivisible country, those who fought and paid the ultimate price must not be forgotten. Madam Bianca, lives and properties were lost on both sides. Don't be bigoted in your demands. Anything can be termed hate speech in these times. A lot of Nigerians are actually frustrated, do not incite them with careless speeches. The casualties of war are often times not those who start the wars. Think about it! |
Kendumazy:Possession of weed can get you a minimum of a four year jail term in Nigeria |
All these lawyers wey no too see work and wey no dey with any chamber no fit dey carry some of these cases for head? Lawyers in the house, what is the implication of m suggestion above? A layman like me would think that young lawyers can make a name for themselves by taking on these cases of exploitation by the men of armed forces in Nigeria. Learned colleagues, is it possible? |
Auladimeji2:it was very unfair I swear. |
Vizzy4u:Are you being sarcastic or you ate truly ignorant? Should the 'MARKATE' in all block letters not tell your educated self that there's a pun on the word? Contact me if you need a tutor though. I'll offer you some discount. |
