Does the sickle celled child born to poor girl parents who definitely can’t afford her adequate treatments have the right to be depressed with the fact that for the most part of her life she’ll be sick and in severe pain or will it just be delusional if the person dares to mention that he/she is depressed?

Does the man who against all odds manages to buy an ‘I pass my neighbor’ just to afford his family a bit of comfort only to find out that fumes from the same gen killed all 4 of his children have the right to be depressed or he should simply go start having sex and get himself a new set of kids?

Does the woman who seem to be up and doing business then suffered a small accident and finds herself bedridden with stroke/ nerve damage in both legs, have the right to be depressed or should she simply get up and walk?

The millionaire/billionaire musician who pays a a good wage to his nanny believing his toddler to be in safe hands only to read on social media that the boy drowned may be depressed or it’d be absolutely out of place if you were to hear that he suffered a bout of depression?

Does the man who takes a loan against his house to import goods and expand his business, have any cause to be depressed when he finds out that his goods were lost on the high sea either to pirates or a shipwreck

A university graduate will be addressed as a university graduate despite passing through primary school and secondary school. A former Vice President will mostly be remembered nationally as s Vice President rather than governor.

Just to add.
Even though Atiku was elected as a Governor, he wasn’t sworn in. Instead, a Military administrator was appointed instead. While the administrator went on to handover (resigned) as a new elected governor came in 1999, Atiku went on to be Vice President. So Atiku couldn’t have been remembered as Governor of Adamawa.

2400 x 365 days =876,000 death ( malnutrition only)
There’s malaria, there’s typhoid, there’s cholera there’s aids etc it takes a about 9 months to replace each life. There are also deaths of adults from so many factors yet our population continues to grow exponentially.

You are the one reading it wrong, they said 100 children die every hour and those with malnutrition are 12 times more likely to die.

If you assume Nigeria's population growth rate is 2.5 percent there are 5 million people born every year in Nigeria and 20 million children under 5.

You guys aren't seeing because you don't leave your local governments.

Try to do the maths and see if it adds up.

This report specifically says children under 5. It also mentions malnutrition. Add deaths of children over 5, add other causes of infant death like malaria, typhoid, aids, diarrhea, pneumonia etc and see what figures you’d be getting. Juxtaposed with our population, you’d agree the stats are exaggerated.

Please note, I am one of those that acknowledge that a lot of death occur daily. I think all the causes of death make for a large death toll daily but pinpointing that much of it to malnutrition of children under 5 is quite a lot.

Yet I might be wrong. If so, point me to how these figures were arrived at. This will hello me understand better.
