But in all seriousness, is striking the only solution to the perennial underfunding of the institutions of higher learning? Methinks NO. The lecturers should learn to carry along and co-opt the students in their struggle. The students are the primary constituencies. A situation whereby students go on protests and shut down the road to government houses until ASUU demands are met would be more effective. Let the students negotiate. In the community level, we have learnt to use youths to achieve thorny demands.

ASUU is fighting for itself, let the students go and fight for themselves.

It baffles me when youths are clamoring for a paradigm shift and are still campaigning for Obi or Atiku or Tinubu. Some will say we want a shift from pdp and Apc forgetting that as recent as early 2022, Peter Obi was a card carrying member of PdP. He was a vice presidential candidate there and even more baffling for the majority of 2018 and part of 2019 campaigned throughout the country that Atiku was the best man for the presidency.
The revolution is not yet upon us really. 2023 is not the year. We are still recycling the same greedy people who left this country crippled. I am not optimistic about any of the contenders as it is.

In the land use charge case between Ola Animashaun Oluwabukola vs Attorney General of Lagos state, the COA ruled that the Local governments can actually enter into a valid contractual relationship with Lagos state government to exercise the powers vested in them under section 7 of the 1999 constitution without breaching the law. The same is applicable in this case as the state government is simply acting on behalf of the Local governments.

Are the funds shared by Lagos Parks and Gardens and the LG where the funds are collected to ensure uniformity and prevent touting and the arbitrary mode of revenue collections LG use to tow cars away and slam outrageous fines?

It seems like he is keeping some information away and if his only argument is not the validity of the fees , how does teansferring it to LG take such bill away from the park users? Of what benefit is going to court to argue against LASG and still pay the fees to Lagos LGA? smh.
