Not really... It's just that as part of having your documents complete, you also need to have a working experience while going there so I can use dat to survive... Canada isn't a cheap place to live... If you don't have such then you can as well remain under the care of your sponsor for your financial needs till you graduate....

They just gave me admission in a University in Canada ( cape Breton university Nova Scotia). And am looking for a blue collar job I can learn that is highly in demand in Canada.
Am considering Welding, forklift operator, Cisco networking.
Please if you know any skill I can learn here in the meantime or any advice you can give me, it'll be highly appreciated.

Yesterday and Today, I've been on nairaland as usual and nobody mentioned the ongoing bus strike caused by excessive extortion by agbero on the road.. Badagry to Mile 2 specifically....
Yesterday morning, at Iyanera busstop, there was no single public vehicle on the road, resulting of lots of people being stranded.... I also was stranded, I decided to go home..
Today again was worse, police were there and public drivers association members were seen on the road, stopping anybody carrying passenger..
One driver told me that they pay #1200 at Badagry garage for loading, then from there to iyanoba every busstop they pay either #50 or #100... Now this has made the main transportation to be Okada.. ordinarily, okada from Iyanera to Okoko is #300 max.. but today it is #700.. for one passenger...
So now, is it that nobody in Ojo local government is on Nairaland to report this news...
NB:.. No source, am speaking from personal experience today, other people who ply this road should shed more light...
