africaken254: after this shootng incident look at what most of this kenya police officers were doing ! no body was in a hurry to block the road nearby in case of a second attack involving a SVBIED ,where was the kenya forensic team!i can easily identify alert DSS agents.providing security to the cordon off area but where are our kenya officers, look at their state of alertness in case of a follow up attack.
But they are in Kenya, I am sure your not going to disagree that they like to act like gods in Kenya assaulting locals and doing anything they want because they know Kenyans always bend over for them. But in other Africans countries they have self respect and don't allow people to treat them like dirt. Do you think if this happened to the Kenyan embassy the officials would be allowed to act this?
I guarantee you in Nigeria they are respectfully because otherwise they would get a good ass kicking.
Africaken your kenya government is very stupid, first they said they were building a border wall. Now they say they are actually building one but a human wall, whatever that means.
ActivateKruger: The SANDF cammo is a scientifically made for operating anywhere in South Africa (which is a semi-arid country) which is why it has mostly brown and pale green patterns.... I know Swaziland uses a very green pattern, I can spot their troops 5 kilometers away on arid grass and that defeats the whole purpose of camouflaging.
Actually military uniform patterns are also not for camouflage but to help the soldiers distinguish the friendlies from the enemies
upko1: Ah!! Even Russians and Australians @activatekruger come and see unprofessional Russian and Australian facebook boys, that's why i love professional South African spec ops always setting the standard and defining professionalism.
Tactical professional jihad squad below, fully clad from head to toe so you can't guess their identity, they trying to copy the South Africans
What is this? And someone here had the nerve to accuse me of being a collaborator, SMH!
Aren't those British Army modules for the combat simulation training at archers post? In most pictures when you see them deployed they are not issued radios. Like you had said earlier it was one of the reason that the lost so many soldiers. I think it is a serious problem.
Is it true that they will be soon replacing the F5?
ActivateKruger: The point of your weapons purchase is understandable. You want to pull-off a little show in case NATO decides to say hi.
From a social view, citizens just get a feeling that the government has plenty of cash THEN they start demanding ridiculous things. Study case is South Africa - a few new jets, frigates and submarines got people thinking the state is loaded now they demand free tertiary education... The government is now trying to hide any form of military acquisition under the Secrecy Bill because if we ever even buy a lousy aircraft and it went to the media, the country would go into flames.
Point here: Your spend plenty of money on the military, you get social unrest.
I think what African countries spend on defense should be directly proportional to the threat they face. Most of the threats faced by African countries is internal. It only makes sense to spend less on Police and Intelligence rather than hi-tech military weapons. South Africa and Algeria are special because they have large military industries and strong economies. But it is ridiculous when a country like Uganda goes and buys Su30 considering the fuel consumption(twin engine), engine will have to be flown to Russia for overhaul, cost of training, munitions......
IMO the only defense spending for African countries should be for creating local production to create jobs and grow the economy
africaken254: not being able to maintain a MIG-21 is now a political problem or a poorly protected border or coastline ! we simply dont know how to run a country let alone an army
Yes, absolutely. As with most African countries maybe those migs ended up that way because military appointments were made by tribal or perceived loyalty rather than merit. Or the money was misappropriated by officials who were appointed politically. Don't you think Africa would benefit more by not having any borders?
Don't be so pessimistic with good governance all this issues can be fixed and Africa can thrive. It would only take one generation to catch up with Europe.
africaken254: can't solve insurgencies and terrorism from groups poorly funded in our continent (just imagine an african country facing well funded insurgent groups like assad is facing.how long would it take before such a state collapses.we can't even maintain simple airframes like MIG-21,most air force in this continent have air crafts rusting on backyards of their air bases
africa is not poor but stupid, incompetent, subservient, non progressive e.t.c problems that can be solved a high school graduate can't be solved even by a university graduate.the rest of the world have transformed their agriculture sector, but we are still starving to death.in the past for every 5 peace keepers in africa only 1 was african. with help from foreign countries now its for 5 peace keepers 2 are from africa. border security is non existence in most of our countries.we can't protect our coastal waters from illegal fishing, let along piracy. proliferation of small arms is serious problem due to porous borders, failed states, civil wars e.t.c
Those are all political problems, cant be solved by force. Wars are not fought with the aim of killing the "enemy." Better results are gained from negotiation, diplomacy, blackmail, and most importantly subterfuge
africaken254: Off topic:yesterday saudi jets targeted a funeral inyemen capital sanaa, killing more than 200 hundred people.if this is not the time for countries to arm themselves,i dont know what most of us in africa are waiting for !the kinds of images i saw ,bodies burned mutilated bodies e.t.c if saudi can do this with america bombs, wiping out more than 200 people and never giving a f@ck .because they are untouchable.most of us rely on the UN,to offer us protection(it time we seriously rearm with latest weaponry).those days are long gone.the utter disregard of innocent civilians has reached unprecedented level
Guns vs. butter. Better to spend money on free education, sewers , water, irrigation...... Than building the occident's economies with the little money Africa has.
AMISOM captives, here is Uganda, more from Kenya... coming. As is the pattern you know what the follow on video of this captive will be about. https://videopress.com/v/pEMMtlDT
tdayof: Mr man inverted is different from (negative inverted), that's why I specified . Negative Inverted is also called (outside loop). I'll refer you to a good online English class so you can use your time better understanding English.
Does wing loading alone contribute to the aerodynamic performance of an aircraft? NO! Go back to NASA website, and learn some stuff. Internet fanboy.

The reason they sit on top is because the Btr has little protection from mines, rpgs, and atgms. From the Afgan experience they found that its more survivable ontop that sitting inside
