this past week this kenya police AW 139 was doing patrols around my neighbourhood when it suddenly hovered around very close to where i stay.for almost 30 minutes and everyone was outside wondering whats going on,me i was just laughing(but i did the stupid thing of not filming )there are a lot of illegal somalia refugees stay around my neighbourhood but that night they were indoors .also it didn't have its search light on(checking us with their thermal camera )

for most countries a mach 5 missle is a enough threat especially in Africa.

JF-17 can carry a CM400AKG air to surface missle with the average speed mach 4-5,top speed mach 5-6 can be at par with at least bramos I if not zircon. Though the range seems to be shorter and the price I think should be more resonable. of couse for those su-30 user they can only choose yakhont or bramos.

The main problem is that fighting insurgency is still new to many African militaries coupled with the fact that they are poorly armed. Tactics for fighting insurgent is another thing that is not common in Africa and this you will learn during the war.
