CrimeRe: Woman Pour Hot Oil On Lover For Refusin To Marry Her by Tinkybabe(f): 4:57pm On Aug 20, 2013
This is the type of incident that makes a certain somebody talk ill of women.

When it comes to relationships, never hold on hundred percent to what a person says..be open minded. .these people are humans and have a tendency to go back on their words. A guy jilts you,You have every right to be hurt, yes! but should you go to the extent of inflicting harm, no!
Life goes on
And it's obvious she never committed the relationship into the hands of God
Where has it led her..kirikiri!

Anyway que sera sera; what will be will be.
And people, don't say what you won't do especially guys; Marriage is a sensitive issue to women and a mention of it is like an insurance.

PhonesRe: 'Galaxy Gear' Watch-like Phone By Samsung To Be Introduced Next Month by Tinkybabe(f): 4:40pm On Aug 20, 2013
What the hell is wrong with Samsung? I understand that they are in a stiff competition with Apple but churning out phones like this doesn't depict class.
I'm not an apple fan but I respect the fact that they've got class..few solid releases.
Nairaland GeneralRe: What Percent Of Your Income Do You Save Monthly? by Tinkybabe(f): 4:15pm On Aug 20, 2013
engineerd: Not true....It depends on the risk factors associated with the investment [i'm talking stocks, bonds etc]
Saving accounts are usually insured 100%, so while your returns might be low from interests paid on savings accounts, the risk factor of loosing any of your money is almost NULL!
"Not always true" would have been a better argument .Invalidating my claim as altogether untrue makes you wrong too. And talking about risks, don't you think everything under the sun has its own risk..No one invests with the hope of losing their money, there's the possibility so it's calculated but the sole aim of investing is to get your money plus profit back .
Saving physical cash equally has its risks . Maybe not as much but isn't exactly risk free.
Nairaland GeneralRe: What Percent Of Your Income Do You Save Monthly? by Tinkybabe(f): 2:06pm On Aug 20, 2013
For those blaming the economy of the country on not saving, I'd say you never cultivated the habit..and no matter how much you earn, you'll still not save. I know there are people that have tenable excuses but majority of people with this mindset are frivolous spenders, those who don't plan their finances..and know nothing about money management. .

My long story cut short is that we should all endeavour to make it an habit..saving or/and investing in laudable businesses or activities.
I rest my case.
Nairaland GeneralRe: What Percent Of Your Income Do You Save Monthly? by Tinkybabe(f): 1:54pm On Aug 20, 2013
Investment is a type of saving, why aren't people seeing it in that light . savings with interest if you like
As a matter of fact investment is the best form of saving.

For me, I save as much as possible so as to invest in something tangible.

Poems For ReviewRe: Tribute by Tinkybabe(op):
August

The green leaves
The lively scenery
The tall trees
The beautiful flowers
The bright lawns
The warm weather
All coming to a close
Soon to be marked by
Brown leaves
Slowly falling off
Lively scenery clothed with dullness
Tall trees Framed to tree planks
Beautiful flowers faded into oblivion
Bright lawns scathed from its Brightness.
Warm weather sauntered into freezedom
As we birth the autumn
It is the month of August.

FamilyRe: Toddler Falls-off Father's Shoulder And Drowns by Tinkybabe(f): 10:17am On Aug 20, 2013
So it's a recent news..My mum and I were talking yesterday when she told me about this incident.

A man was stood in the middle of the road in town yesterday waiting to be knocked down by a vehicle ..all effort to discourage him proved abortive so all the vehicles plying that route were halted which resulted in a huge traffic jam..The police later came to pull him away though. .Mum was dissing the guy for attempting suicide..I, on the other hand told her that some terrible situations make people think suicide as an escape route...she concurred and told me about this doctor's case.

He would feel miserable for a very long time that's if he ever recovers from it.An avoidable mistake. .so sad.
He could even go to the extent of committing suicide.I hope he doesn't though.

This is very sad.
CelebritiesRe: Desmond Elliot With His Kids by Tinkybabe(f): 8:58am On Aug 20, 2013
drake2005: People keep saying this guy is attractive, but I can't see it. Aesthetically? Is body is flaccid or undefined. I will vote Richard Mofe Damijo as more attractive aesthetically and by height. Now back to Desmond, People say(myopic women)He is tall? What is tall to you? I have stood close to him, I was at least 2 inches taller than him. He is at most 6ft which is the beginning of tall for a man but not tall; maybe by Nigerian standard of many short male actors (non is above 6'2; all are virtually below 5'11 except Chidi Mokeme who is at least 6'1). I'm 6'2 FYI.

He is only 4-5 inches taller than mike ezuruonye who is only 5'7 in the picture below. So, that's not tall! He may be seen as tall because he stands around 99% short fellow movie actors; which makes him appear as tall.
You've heard it today..lol.. I understand that you commented to advertise yourself and get noticed .Though the latter has been achieved, it's to your detriment.
Next time , don't pull this stunt using the "hate" cover, it never ends well.

Desmond needs to reduce or at least trim his beard and moustache..too bushy, not cool.

FamilyRe: What % Of Married Women Would Use Their Body To Keep A high Paying Job? by Tinkybabe(f): 10:40am On Aug 19, 2013
Funny topic;I don't know the percentage of women that engage in such but something I know for sure is that there are women, highly ranked women who'd do that to keep their job or move further up the ladder

Being disciplined and principled to one's morals is a different ball game and it's not a function of how highly ranked one is.
There are women who would go to any length to keep their job and ones who would let go once their dignity is on the line.
In conclusion, I believe it's a personal thing.

FamilyRe: Between A Husband And His Baby, Who Own A Woman's bosoms? by Tinkybabe(f): 7:17am On Aug 17, 2013
dasparrow: The number one reason God gave a woman mammary glands is to use them to breast-feed her offspring. I don't know why a grown man with 32 teeth in his mouth, an Adam's apple in his throat and beard growing around his upper and lower lip will be looking to suck the mammary glands.

The irony is, after sucking the mammary
glands like an infant the night before, the next day he wants to command respect and be seen as the head of household. Any grown man who wants respect should earn it and you cannot earn respect by trying to play boss one minute and the next minute turn into a baby with beard who wants to suck the mammary glands.
Right on the head!At the very spot you hit it.

CC , yam is only for fraternal twins, which in my dictionary are no twins..lol
Identical twins conception is purely by chance.
Well, maybe prayers and fasting would do the the trick.
In case anyone comes up with something that would guarantee twins (identical o )conception. .pls let me know
Christianity EtcRe: What Is Assumption Of Mary by Tinkybabe(f): 11:31am On Aug 15, 2013
I'm a christain but I'm still yet to grasp the concept behind idolizing Mary.Yes,she was a good woman and God used her just like he used many other notable women in the bible. Why is her case more special than every other good women mentioned in the bible?Because she beget Jesus Christ?
AS Christains,we shouldn't get carried away thereby breaking a grand commandment ''Ye shall worship only the lord your God,and Him alone shall ye serve"
TravelRe: Nigeria Plans £5000 Visa-Bond For UK Citizens by Tinkybabe(f):
Hahaha..who are we kidding?I can't laugh .
How many first class british citizens choose Nigeria as a holiday spot not to talk of a place to stay indefinitely?
Why do we just think upside down, what a lopsided retaliation
Face it,I'm not really happy about the bond by the british authority but we Nigerians abuse privileges hence they had to do what they did.

FamilyRe: What Are You Thankful For? by Tinkybabe(f): 10:00pm On Aug 14, 2013
Thankful for the gift of life.
A family friend's brother lost his life on his way to redemption camp ground last week and it got me thinking about how privileged my family and I are to be alive.
'Cause if it's by virtue of godliness or holiness,I am not deserving.
Thank you lord!
