It's really sad..and this is peculiar to almost all Nigerian embassies abroad. The one in London is a sorry case, no decorum, good customer service or professionalism..

I feel the lady's pain. I bet most people dissing her didn't watch the video. She obviously said it out of frustration and who wouldn't in her shoes?

FamilyRe: Guys, Do You Pray To Marry A Woman Like Your Mother? by Tinkybabe(f): 3:36pm On Aug 24, 2013
I'm a woman abi lady. .lol
What I feel is that we shouldn't use our parents or someone else to judge our standard. .you know what you want your wife to be, you have a specification .You don't necessarily have to use your mother as the yardstick for selecting your wife
Eg, a man tells me I cook like his mother isn't a compliment to me.If you want to compliment me, do so for me and as me, to me. Don't compare me to someone.

Sorry if I derailed a bit.
FamilyRe: In Love With A 52 Year Old! by Tinkybabe(f): 3:14pm On Aug 24, 2013
slimyem: You have done enough to dissuade her and its obviously not working. This kind of issue..by the time you get too involved, you'll soon become the enemy. Let her be. She's 30-an adult! Her life ,her choice!! If that'll be her mistake, let her make it.
Tell her you can't help with her parent's angle though. She knows your reasons.
.
That's all!!
FamilyRe: Must A Car Be Decorsted For Wedding by Tinkybabe(f): 3:03pm On Aug 24, 2013
Everything in life boils down to preference. As long as you are not hurting anyone.
So to your question-it isn't necessary.

RomanceRe: Did I Fall In Love With The Wrong Person? Pls Advise! by Tinkybabe(f): 1:10pm On Aug 24, 2013
First of,Welcome to Nairaland OP cheesy cheesy

Now,back to the matter
When I read your post,I wanted to tell you how stupid you were but being Nairaland, romance landers have done even more than that and all I feel for you now is pity.

1) This girl doesn't like you ,much more love you..so forget her completely.
2)your money has been given to charity as you can only retrieve it if she gives.Unless you have something illegitimate up your sleeves.

Most importantly, never fall in love with your heart only, the head inclusive makes the best recipe for a fun filled relationship

But I can't help it,OP you were a MAGA grin

FamilyRe: How Do One Know The Right Husband To Marry? by Tinkybabe(f): 5:32pm On Aug 23, 2013
bellong: The uncertainties do not make it a gamble. I may not know the end result but I know He who knows the end-result. That is enough for me not to gamble.

Of course, even the marriage made in heaven requires working at it. There is nothing under heaven that does not require to be worked on. Efforts to make it work do not amount to gamble but can be likened to watering a garden so that it can keep blossoming and flourishing.

If you are yet to marry, follow the basic principles of the creator of marriage and you will be happy for it. It is well with you....
Thank you.God bless you too.

FamilyRe: I'm Going Crazy... by Tinkybabe(f): 10:14am On Aug 23, 2013
deeplybetrayed: Yes and I just want a good family, I know that no family is perfect.
Hmm..I can't exactly identify with your problem but I can imagine it to a large extent.

Now, you're twenty-an adult to some degree.Your parents have chosen to live their lives that way, you shouldn't allow their life path to ruin yours.
You can still make a good meaning of your life, do not let your parents' failure stand in the way of that.
I would say you should live your life the way you want it to pan out. Most importantly move closer to God and commit your ways to him.If you have a trusted adult, you could confide in them too..
I wish you the best
