Business › Re: Wema Bank Launches ALAT, First Nigerian 100% Digital Bank by Tinyemeka(m): 6:50pm On May 06, 2017 |
costandi: A staff of wema bank confirmed this. They have no branch in Enugu. Sanusi introduced a policy which mandated banks by virtue of their capital base to be reclassified into regional, national and international banks. Wema closed shop in all Eastern and Northern locations. Focused their operations in the SW (not sure of the SS). They used to have a branch besides Access bank, along Ogui road, just before the stadium. As for ALAT, I see it as a glorified mobile banking app that parasites on other bank's efforts/services. Why do I say so? ALAT requires your BVN, which you must have done at another bank. To fund your account, you must have an already funded account elsewhere. You still have to go pick up your new ATM card from WEMA bank. I have some questions: If ALAT is truly a bank as claimed, can one access loans & credit, Trade services, FX services from them? |

Romance › Re: I Mistakenly Impregnated A Woman by Tinyemeka(m): 9:05pm On May 05, 2017 |
infantlion: Hello fellow Nairanders,
Once upon a time in 2016, I fell in love with a beautiful damsel who happened to be a virgin. We became very intimate and had great sex. After sex, she always thanked me for making her feel so extraordinary. As at that time, I was madly in love with her.
We got engaged in December 2016 in a grant style due to the fact that am working as a graduate engineer in a multinational firm.
I sincerely had the intention of taking her to the altar until early February, my friend alerted me that he saw my girl in a club with four(4) young men...I got worried and quickly called, her phone rang, no response.I gave her 458 missed calls until later in the evening, she answered"Nkem, am so sorry, I was sleeping while your calls came through"
I wept and called my friend to confirm if his is very sure of what he told me...He insisted.I kept wondering, how could an engaged woman flirt around with guys? I was shocked because I got 95% of what women need-money, good sex, good looking, good job e.t.c
In a nutshell, I invited her to my place and interrogated her and she admitted that she went to club with those guys but nothing happened. No woman would truly agree that she "spreaded" her legs for another man.
My feelings for her crashed to 0%..She pleaded for 30 days until she involved my pastor. My pastor told me to embrace forgiveness which I did...We started all over again and she promised to be faithful, loyal and honest at all times..
A month later she took in.The badnews came as a shock to me because I never cum inside her whenever we had sex...I quickly rushed to see my family doctor. He told me there is 100% chances of any woman to get pregnant with the method I adopted.
Due to the fact that my feelings for her is still at 0%, I begged her for an abortion and she replied"over my dead body"..Her family called me and I told them I am not ready and they threatened to arrest me...They sent her to my house last week with her protruded stomach without my consent...It was very late and I had no choice than to let her in.
Luck ran out of her this morning when she got a call from one Pastor Mike...I was curious to know if it is "hygienic" for a pastor to call a beautiful damsel in the early hours of the day...I questioned her and she told me the guy is a genuine pastor... Me:pastor of which church? She:Catholic Church Do catholic church ordain pastors?
I called the so-called Pastor Mike and he said, he is not a pastor.
I have contacted my family and friends, but am not yet comfortable with their counsel.
One good thing about Nairanders is that from the bad, the good and the ugly comments, a wise OP should be able to get something out of nothing.
Long live Nairanders!!! Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!!! My brother, I understand your plight. Please, let her keep the baby. You can confirm the paternity later. If the baby isn't yours, she can't stay with the baby in your house na, abi? Since the four wisemen and Catholic pastor are now factors of the equation, I can bet my plug spanner, that the baby isn't yours. Her parents have no shame sha. Or maybe it was the potential they saw in you that gave them such impetus and audacity to dump their daughter together with her general running expenses on your head. Love live the Peoples Republic of Biafra! |

While BAT reaps huge commissions from Remita et al as his returns from his polital gamble/investments, the gullible masses are left to pick their battered selves from the catastrophes left in his wake. I knew this was coming when I read early last month that a consortium of banks had initiated moves to takeover the management of EMTS, over the latter's inability to meet repayment obligations in a USD-denominated syndicated loan facility. I got really afraid for the future of Etisalat and its employees. MTN devised its disingenuous method of repatriating FX, Glo is local. Airtel is also at risk. As long as the FX availability crisis persists, more sacks'll be on the way. Hard truth. I guess you voted for change over transformation? Bashers are highly welcome. |

Lost my dad early morning of 14/11/2014 at Umuahia. They didn't want to tell me initially but when they eventually did, I left all I was doing and travelled back. He was already in the mortuary. By the time I could go see the body, it was already getting to 6pm. Light was dusky. The mortuary had this big compound in the front. The morgue itself had big Alumaco windows with tinted glasses so you couldn't see inside. The receptionist (if I could use that word, because he was seated in an outhouse away from the main building) said I would not be able to see my dad as it was late and I would have to come the next day. I insisted that I had to travel early the following day. He then directed me to the main building and said someone was there who would attend to me. I went to the main building. Called out the normal 'kpai kpai'. Someone replied from within. Told him I wanted to see him. I could hear water splashing on concrete and when he came out, it was obvious that he had just bathed. I explained my story to him that I had to travel the next day and pleaded with him to let me see my dad's body. He grudgingly agreed and asked me to follow him. My people, nothing prepared me for the shock of what I encountered immediately I crossed the threshold. They were all black, dried out, stacked on top of each other like firewood. Literally. Everywhere, with no space to spare. There was barely room for me to walk through, that I had to lift my trousers to prevent them from accidentally touching the bodies. I saw things. The air was thick I could barely breathe. The journey seemed to take an eternity for me to get to the end of the room. I saw what I came for and left, but it left me with an everlasting impression. A human no matter how great he/she appears is eventually reduced to an immobile mass of tissues that would putrefy and dissolve. No matter how great that individual had once been! Anytime I see a fight going on or an individual carrying out an injustice and I remember that trip, my thought would be that if only these people could experience that sight, they would know that this life could be very very fickle. As for the mortuary attendants, their reasonings operate on a very different wavelength. I was shocked by what I saw, but that's his workshop! He was bathing amongst the corpses, even in the near darkness. What more can I say? |
