TravelRe: Nigerians In Argentina And Other Unusual Places by tjadeba(m): 4:00pm On Feb 22, 2008
this is one of the most interesting threads on this forum.only last week,my boss received a call from a Nigerian in Afghanistan asking him to help him clear a consignment of his from Afghanistan.so i was dumbfounded and asked him what on earth he was doing in that country.but i could remeber when war first broke out in Afghanistan,Nigerian Government sent a mission there to fetch Nigerians that were there and they did come back with a handful of them so also when there was political uprising in Pakistan,Naija government did same thing.

since the story of that Nigerian female footballer,i have been wondering how the thing looks like.is it that prick is upstairs and the 'abunna'(hole) dey underneath?can anyone who has seen it b4 paint a vivid picture of it?or can i get the pictures from a medical book or what?i really want to see how it looks like and to my brother who wants to help his 'babe',i must let him know that it costs a fortune.NFA paid for the girls's operation in the USA,so my brother, you must be prepared to cough out a large sum of bux.As for me,,

SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Ghana: Can We Beat The Host Country? by tjadeba(m): 4:58pm On Feb 05, 2008
am still amazed as to why people are not saying anything about the level of play of most of our players.dont you think that if a Maurinho were to be the coach of Nigeria with Taiye Taiwo on the left full back position and misfit Nwaneri as the right full back and a bunck of 23 players without a playmaker, what would have happened?i am not totally absolving vogts of the blames, but dont you think the present crop of players we have can only give out what they have in terms of their creativity and skills(talent).i mean you cant compare Eguaveon's or Ben Iroha's or Celestine Babayaro's creativity with either Taiwo's or Nwaneri's.Although one or two of them have been outstanding(Shittu & Osaze).my beleif is that first,we need a trainer/coach/technical adviser or whatever they call they call them to help us discover real talents that can wear our national colours and until then we can start talking of commitment and tactical approach to matches. That lies the present strenght of Cote d'ivoire. I seriously beleive we cant have that kind of team to represent us in 2010,because it is usually a long process.remember it took Westerhoff 4 years to acheive that.so Nigerians should never think a fire brigade approach will bring out the desired result lset we willalways rely on mother luck every time.
FoodRe: Indomie, Chikki Or O! Noodles: Which One Tastes Best? by tjadeba(m): 3:28pm On Dec 18, 2007
Chikki is really ok,the spice is da bomb, but i can bet why many people havent even tried eating it, the package isnt really attractive like that of Indomie.i can bet if the cover is redesigned to attract people, its popularity will surpass that of indomie.
TravelRe: Student Visa Success Stories by tjadeba(m): 3:23pm On Oct 18, 2007
please can anyone address this issue of gaps between going from one level of study to the other. It has always been a question they ask at the BHC, like a friend who had a gap of 12 years after his SSCE before he got an addmission to the university and after finishing he has secured a UK admission for his MSc, do you think this question will not come up in this my friend's case?as a matter of fact,my friend was working in all those 12 years
SportsRe: Football Friendly: Nigeria Vs Mexico by tjadeba(m): 5:41pm On Oct 15, 2007
Aiyenugba---Yeoman's job,but i think he should be calmer and less jittery but i beleive he would be ok with more matches in his kitty
Shittu--for the first time in so many years,am seeing a replacement for Uche Okechukwu, very confident and calculating
Apam
--with nore games,he would be there, did a good job
Rabiu--did his best, but i think he still needs to up his game
Taiwo the tornado--worst player on the pitch.i think its high time we looked for a replacement for this guy, he is a super eagles misfit
Olofinjana--thinks he had an average game but i think he can do better if what we hear about his performance for Wolves is anything to go by
Mikel--this guy needs to add finesse to his game, he was too bullish in tackling the opponents, i wonder what he has learnt since playing for Chelsea, i think he needs a psychologist to help him with his play but pending when he would be at his best,i think Onyekachi should be in charge of that department
Utaka
--not much was seen of this great Nigerian footballer mainly because his wing wasnt used or was rarely used in the game, he was just smiling and 'resting' througout the game
Manasseh--needs more games in the super eagles but he flunked a chance in the game, not really a bad outing
Obagoal--fantastic goals from the weapon of mass destruction,he should have taken that penalty, Allardyce needs a rethink else he will loose this chap
Uche--he could have scored that goal one on one with the goal keeper, but we should not forget that the best players in the world have lost penalties
Vogts--needs to do more job with the palyers in the midfield

Super Eagles--think they had an above average game--kudos

EducationRe: Your School Anthem by tjadeba(m): 5:27pm On Aug 14, 2007
I attended Federal University of Technology Akure Staff Primary School and i can still remember the first verse or so:

Futa staff school is our school(2x)
we are proud of futa staff school,
for qualitative education and better turn out,
futa staff school is our school

Thereafter i attended the Great UNITY SECONDARY SCHOOL, ADO EKITI in then Ondo state of Nigeria, i think the athem goes like this:

Unity, ado ekiti is our school(2x)
to live in peace and harmony with my fellow students and members of the staff,
my alma mata, i love you, i love my alma mata,
to respect others opinion,
to unite nigeria and ondo state in particular,
and with the help of God am determined, to acheive this goal

SportsThe True African Footballer Of The Year! by tjadeba(op): 6:09pm On Nov 29, 2006
Dont Know who  really shortlisted Kanu,Essien,Drogba,Eto' O and of all Abou Trekka  for this year's GLO/CAF African footballer of the year without shortlisting the real Africa's greatest football export to Europe this year in person of Fredrick Kanoute, one wonders why he isnt included in that list inspite of his contributions to his Spanish Club since he joined them.Earlier this year,he single handedly helped his Club(Sevilla FC of Spain) to win the UEFA cup and to cap it all,he is the highest African goal scorer  in one of Europe's best league at the moment with nine goals, Guys, dis aint easy feats!
Although it may be argued that he isnt a thorough bred African like Kanu and the rest, but he has demonstrated that he truly has African blood lying in him by choosing to play for Mali, his native country ahead ofcountries like France and England that really lobbied to have this great African in thier teams. That alone should have made CAF to honour this examplary African footballer!! smiley

ProgrammingNeed Help On This Java Stuff! by tjadeba(op): 3:40pm On Nov 09, 2006
somebody there help me on these,

build an online quiz/questionaire wherein the user tests his knowledge base by

solving a number of questions.the question will be of multiple choice type such that

there is only one timer to monitor the time taken by the user, which will also

automatically redirect the user to the next question if the time limit for each

question is exceeded.the questions for the quiz along with the answers for the quiz

would be typically stored in a database and would be accessed one at a time by the

application. At the end of the quiz ,the score is to be calculated based on the

performance of the user and is to be displayed.
*The core software to be used for the development will be based on the Java 2

platform and its APIs.
*The approach towards solving the problem must be object oriented.
*Data for the quiz must exist in an external data source and must be retreived using

DBMS suc as SQL server.(i.e JDBC API)
*Multithreading features can be used to implement the timer.
