i just beleive the issue here is not about vikiviko saying anything again ON THE matter.the truth and fact of the matter is that the TC is not genuine.with the little i know about tax matters, the FIRS doesnt issue personal income tax clearance.They only issue tax clearance to companies registered as limited liability companies (i stand to be corrected).

The LIRS (Lagos) is the body responsible for personal income tax.so the issuer go it all wrong from the word go!
What matters now is how yetti should go about her case (appeal or re-apply), although its good and important to get to the root of the matter so that we can all learn from this costly mistake.

I must confess my sincerest apology to yettidear because i assisted in acquiring the tax certificate.

For the ECO to have said its fake is surprising, because its the same certificate i have helped few members to get.
I am no criminal, all i can do to salvage the situation is get the photocopy of the said certificate and lets take it up from there.

This sounds horrible, @ yettidear,why should someone assist you in getting that kind of docement?
am sure you would have coughed out a fortune for that, you jeopardised your chances by engaging a tout to get a forged document for you.

i want to know if its wise to use my mum's financial documents (in actual fact,she is the one thats going to sponsor my education).she lives and works in the UK.I want to know if the CDHC guys wont say i dont have enough family ties although all my other siblings (4) live in Nigeria and i have evidences to show that i have economic ties with Nigeria like my parent's landed properties.
Please i need your advice on this issue because i am submitting by next week.

when they talk about land papers(documents) to prove the point that you have strong ties with Nigeria,do you have to provide a C of O of the land or what?someone told me one can provide the one(s) that belong to ones parent to prove that.

my advice is that the poster checks very well all the documents he tendered at the embassy especially the document in question.have you at anytime had to alter anything in the said document?, date of birth or any information?please forget about the fact that the grades are correct! any alteration whatsoever makes the integrity of the document "doubtable" and it also applies to any official documents you might have taken to the embassy,so please do some checks before you do anything.you have a very good case!
please forget about those telling you about making it or not in America, i beleive if those contributors read your post very well they will know that you arent really particular about going to America but you just want to clear your name from the mess and let me tell you,its better to do it now that listen to any sentiment from those quarters.Even if you are not going to America now,You can never say what will happen in future(this they say you shouldnt step on their soil in your lifetime),you may have some other very important thing to do over there other than the purpose of settling there and if you wish to know,this can affect your  chances of travelling to other countries(West especially), you dont have to look at travelling to these countries only for the purpose of permanent immigration alone, what if you have an important seminar/capacity building workshop/important family engagement/business meetings/short courses/urgent medical attention(God forbid!) to attend,would these anomaly hinder these good things?
